Tilly’s

My boyfriend bought me a dress to wear for graduation and ripped off the tag so I wouldn’t see the price. It ended up being a bit to short for me and showed too much cleavage so I went back to return it.
Being that this place is 20 – 30 minutes away from me, I couldn’t go that day to return it so I returned it a few days or around a week later. So of course when it sat in my room in the small Tilly’s bag, it became wrinkled. I brought it back with the receipt and the tag.
They didn’t take it back because they said it was washed. When I said it was just sitting in the bag in my room which was why it was wrinkled. Then the managed said you can tell it’s been washed by how it looks and he compared it to the dress they had in store.
The only difference there was between the two was one was wrinkled and one wasn’t, no fading or anything.
So now I have a $ 30 dress just sitting around.
On a positive note the cashier was nice and said sorry I thought it looked fine.
She showed much better customer service than the rude manager who basically told me I was lying.
(By the way, I get the manager has probably had to deal with a lot of people lying but the way he was talking to me just made me feel like crap and just wasn’t right for him to be talking down at me)

NO STARS. Terrible front counter service. I had a «HOOK UP» card I had been using for the past year, supposedly collecting points. I come to this store, as much as I despise Arden Fair Mall, because I’ve not had a problem shopping Tilly’s anywhere else. I get up to the counter with my purchases and inquire about my points and coupons. According to the girl at the counter my «Hook Up» card is not registered therefore I have zero points. I have spent thousands of dollars in the past year at the store. To top it off the girl would not let me use the coupon on my purchase because she didn’t know the store code. I walked out and left everything at the counter. NEVER AGAIN WILL I SHOP TILLY’s. ANYWHERE.

Tilly’s is yet another California surf skate whatever lifestyle store. It’s got the typical Cali wear that comprises most of my wardrobe so I usually make a stop here every time I go to the mall. They also sell a ton of backpacks. I like backpacks better than purses but I don’t like having to check in my shit every time I enter a business so purse it is.
Very reasonable prices compared to Pac Sun, that’s for sure. I think the selection’s a little better as well, it’s not as «trendy», more casual every day type stuff. No extreme crop tops or harem pants or whatever Kendall and Kylie Jenner sell now. They’ve also got a bigger selection than Zumiez who seem to mostly specialize in T shirts, beanies and hoodies. Clothes are true to size. Yeah Tilly’s is my shit. I wish they and the other stores like them would get off this neverending trend of selling only neutral colors though. I need some color in my wardrobe.
