Not a fan of their clothing, but I like some of their furniture. They always seem to have a good selection of stuff to choose from. I bought a bookcase from there. I like that they let you make offers on the items. Unlike other thrift stores they are trying to work with your budget

This place must have missed the memo that this is a thrift store and not a high end store when it comes to non clothing items especially furniture. I’m speaking only on furniture and other non clothes items but they price their items like they are retail or we’re not paying for items that either are not perfect or need work. I walked around and looked at the price and the pieces and thought, really? The funniest thing… I must have said that loud one time and a employee said hey make us a deal! Really, so you’re part thrift part swap meet? Go to other thrift stores since they price accordingly without needing to haggle.

I’ve been to St. Vincent’s a few times, and it’s really due time I gave them a review.
Every time I go there, I never leave empty-​handed! I found a lovely pink disney tv there, with the remote as well. the TV worked for a couple months. They have a good selection of movies!
I appreciate that the workers there are also very nice, and actually talk to you!

Visited here today, it’s not on my usual thrift store circuit, but it is definitely worth a look. All of a sudden they seem to have a lot of «Plus Size» women’s clothing. Not what I wanted, but I did find 4 nice tops, including some top notch brands, for under $ 9. There’s a senior discount every day and the email blast discount, plus certain color tags are a certain percent off. They sell new mattress sets and bed frames for very reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Tons of glassware and books.

The BEST thrift store found since moving to Sacramento. This one is awesome. You have to search for the deals, but they’re there!

Pretty decent prices, especially if you take advantage of the tag sales. Lots of little cubbies and rooms to explore. Good selection of clothes for women and furniture. Halloween costumes/​clothes were all only $ 2 or less. There was a 50% off all pictures sale, which was great, but the prices on them ranged a lot. Everything was pretty well organized though.
It was too HOT inside! Not fun for trying on clothes. And some of the workers (or volunteers?) were not very professional. We could hear them talking loudly about getting into fights and punching people…

It’s clean smelling, and I’m amazed that most of the one’s I’ve been to are! This one is up and out of my area, but I searched it out and enjoy going to thrift stores – it’s always like a treasure hunt for me!
Since I’m getting into baking I’m always interested what I can find for baking. Otherwise, miscellaneous kitchen items/​gadgets. I do like to check out the women’s clothes for myself. A nice skirt or maybe even a dress is nice.
I love how organized the shops are! Guess that’s why the prices aren’t so cheap, but not too spendy either. I love shopping at all the thrift stores that are there to help ppl.
I only went once to this place and thought I gave my email for notices, but haven’t seen any. It’s not as huge as Thrift Town on Stockton Blvd. or Salvation Army on 16^th, or Deseret Industries on Auburn Ave. I need to find Goodwill! They were good about sending emails at the one I went to in Washington State!

These guys get all my donations. Whether they like it or not. Pricing is fair for people who really need it. That is what thrift stores should be about. Employing and helping those less fortunate buy stuff. I have had scores here and some misss. Overall the pricing is fair so no complaints.

Despite have cockroaches this place doesnt smell, well organized and large selection of clean and hard to find items. Id recommend leaving your purchase outside before bringing it in your house.

Nice variety of things here. Decent prices. Clothes, furniture, tchotchke’s, etc. The clothes are organized by size and not just color. Mens, womens, childrens, etc.

This used to be the place to go for deals but the prices have been getting outrageous! Cone on $ 50 for a stained dirty chair. If it is free it should be priced more reasonable not antique store prices. Not my favorite place anymore ;(

This is my favorite thrift shop! I’ve been visiting SVP’s for about ten years, but this one is the best! Flat rate pricing for each department makes finding mega deals super easy! Subscribe to their email blasts and you get an extra 15% off! Got a donation? They’ll come to your house and pick it up! Great selection of men’s and women’s clothing, but not so much for kids. They need more donations from mom’s and dad’s who’s kids won’t stop growing like little weeds! So please give them a call our come in with your donations, and they’ll give you an extra percentage off! I was just there last week and practically found a whole new wardrobe for $ 20!

Maybe I’m a thrift store elitest? I like organization, selection, very reasonable prices, accessibility for the differently abled and courtesy.

Prices were unreasonable for books, furniture and do-​dads. It is a charity, I get it but you’ll always have more donations and you’ll sell more when prices are lower… Just a thought.
I wanted to love the place but… I probably will not drive all the way out there again.

What a great little store! We didn’t come looking for clothes, but they had a good selection of clean, organized housewares, books, electronics, furniture, etc. Everything is well displayed and easy to look through. The lighting is good, the employees are nice, and the separate little rooms keep the place from feeling cramped. We found some great stuff and will definitely be back!

I’ve been here a couple of times. They definitely have good deals when they’re running specials. Sometimes they’ll have sweaters for $ 1 and jackets for $ 3, and occasionally the whole store will go on 50% off. Of course they have certain color days where those tags also get additional off.
I only give them 3 stars because the clothing is mainly for older people (at least from what I’ve seen) and they didn’t have many items in stock that was appealing for my taste.

I had my eye on this shop in its early days long before it actually officially opened and had hoped to be one of the very first through their front doors however that didn’t happen and so this past weekend we headed out to drop off a very large box of all kinds of gently used and still in great condition donations and also to have a look around…
We were greeted as soon as our feet hit the entrance to the store which is a bit of a first especially when you consider the type of shop that it is so I really appreciated the customer service from the get go…
Their hours I think are what I appreciate so much in that they aren’t your typical 10 – 4 with Sundays closed… Nope! They are currently open 7 days a week and until 8pm on Saturdays and 6pm on Sundays… Making it very convenient for those of us either out and about during those later times OR for those unable to get in earlier in the day…
The previous reviewers of St. Vincent’s were spot on when they mentioned how neat the set up is inside as there are multiple little rooms that branch off of the main shopping area which house specific categories of items for sale such as: Shoes, bridal and or formal wear, a neat little brass and glass section of items with a damn good selection of candle holders and the like and so on…
SCORE OF THE DAY: Two mint condition Japanese Sake pouring pitchers that measure about 5 – 6 inches in height and whose design and colors are fantastic… IN MINT condition and perfect for our décor as we are building up our collection of Japanese artifacts and growing collection…
Price tag: .47 CENTs each… I know right!!! I thought I was seeing things but I wasn’t… Was going to pick up a super cute semi-​mini skirt from Old Navy priced at just $ 2 but it didn’t look as good on me as it did on the hanger but their collection of clothing was damn good as well.
BOOKS! They have a very large selection of books too… What I really appreciated about their book selection was that they were WELL ORGANIZED AND CLEAN… Organized on shelving like a library so sorting through them is enjoyable verses having to dig through boxes or stacks of them… Whomever set up the inside of this shop I give props to as navigating the items for sale within it is not only enjoyable but your able to see everything without having to «dig» for it…
And lastly I particularly like how they have really good sized glass display cases housing delicate glassware items AND jewelry for sale… We picked up a fantastically like new ultra sexy and manly beaded wood necklace for my man for only $ 2. Took it home washed it up, air dried it and its gorgeous… Can’t wait to see it on him… Rawwwwrrrrr!
A compliment to the store: They issued us a 15% off coupon BEFORE we began our check out process that we could either use that day or in the future. We chose to use it in the future as our purchases that day were so low priced that we felt bad taking any more money off of our already ultra low out the door scores for the day… And for those income tax purposes they issued us, upon request, professionally drafted donation receipts…
We will continue to stop into St. Vincent’s in the future and its really nice having a CLEAN, NEATLY ORGANIZED and professionally run thrift shop who’s earnings go to help those in need…
One dig now and it ISN’T on the store… TO the idiot lacking in common sense: Next time you decide to shop in a thrift store and buy less than $ 3 bucks work of crap, Please break your $ 100 spot BEFORE you enter the store… You not only held up the line and irritated the rest of us but you look like an ass whose trying to make a statement and with entirely too much free time on your hands as well…

At first glance, this place might not look that impressive, but that’s only because there’s more than meets the eye.
Going to St. Vincent is like going on a choose-​your-​own adventure with all the small rooms you can wander in and out of. The store just seems to keep going and going with rooms devoted to toys, movies, books and an impressive vintage fashion collection.
The clothing prices are generally great, with lots under $ 1 and every day seems to be a sale day. The overall selection is a mixed bag. Along with the vintage and modern fashions, there’s also some pretty dated styles, and I have a hard time finding something in my petite size.
The furniture strikes me as of a higher quality than most thrift shops offer, but I’ve never purchased any. You just can’t beat Craigslist in that department.
I’ve been here a number of times, and it’s never been crowded. It’s a good store to visit when you have time to just get lost in the thrifting treasure-​trove experience. Whether you find that have-​to-​have one gem is probably ⁵⁰⁄₅₀.

All I can say is Jeepers this place is swell! It’s super organized into little sections, the employees are super nice, they have great items for super cheap!
I spent about $ 40, came out with six bags of treasures!
Only one item was $ 10, everything else was under $ 5.
They had the most awesome antique figurines. I got a set of three ceramic bears from The Country Bear Jamboree for under $ 10!
Their vintage clothes section is to die for. Totally want to go back again, if only it wasn’t 6 hours away from me.
Empoyees were super nice too.

St. Vincent is a pretty decent thrift shop. It’s near my house and it used to be a furniture shop, so there’s plenty of space for them to fill.
I went in a couple of days ago and they reorganized the front clothing area… I like how they laid it out, the color-​organized ladies tops were a nice touch. They also have the most wedding dresses I’ve seen in a thrift shop, there’s a small room near the checkout dedicated to bridal (and they’re all $ 50!)
