Beautiful room. Pool wasn’t heated. Staff was incompetent, they were unable to compute basic math and honor their price from
. It took both of us explaining several times for them to understand.

Just had a great one night stay! Checked in quite late, just before 11PM and our two rooms were on the first floor. Front desk staff was very nice. Our rooms were both spotless– they have a living room with sofa, TV and small kitchenette (fridge, microwave and sink). Next is the bedroom with a king bed, closet, one sink and toilet/​shower room.
The shower had excellent water pressure. The AC/​heat is a wall/​under the window unit but it is controlled by a wall thermostat. I have used many of these and this was great, it was quiet and worked well. Kept the room very cool at night. We called up for a few extra pillows and shampoo– both were brought quickly.
Breakfast was 630 – 9 and consisted of bagels, croissants, oatmeal, fruit, scrambled eggs, turkey bacon, hardboiled eggs and juices. Coffee was also served. We didn’t use the business center or pool.
The room was quiet, breakfast was hot and the location was convenient. Couldn’t be happier with our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. The complimentary breakfast was a plus. The kids also liked the indoor pool. Room was nice and beds were comfy. There was a microwave and refrigerator. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was because the housekeeping wasn’t the best. They didn’t give us new coffee cups or wash the glass cups. Also I left an extra tip and requested some extra items but they took the top and didn’t leave the extra toiletries. Other than that, we really enjoyed the hotel and the staff. Staff was very friendly! I highly recommend this hotel.

This wasn’t a horrible place if you’re cool with little things like blood on bedspreads and dried urine on toilet seats. I travel extensively for work and have stayed in Marriott Brand hotels from NY to CA. This was a shockingly disappointing stay to say the least.

I wanted to give this spot a 5 star but couldn’t due to the fact that the water pressure was the most horrible I’ve ever seen it at in a hotel. I know that there are always some factors that cause not so great H2O pressure at most hotels but at this place there was none!
I immediately let the front desk know, and they sent the maintenance guy but there wasn’t much he could do to really fix the issue.
They didn’t even offer a price break or anything…
I have noticed that the hotel/​motel industry has gotten really bad when it comes to taking care of their customers :(
The are quick to raise the rates and and charge every single tax/​tourism fee but the minute there is an issue they do not care and try to ignore or blow it off. They do not care about over charging for special events either… Or should I say price gouging :(

What a pleasant stay! The hotel has a fresh scent in the hallways and the rooms were nicely decorated with current colors. Our room was very clean and spacious. The only thing preventing me from giving 5 stars is that we were going to check out around 11am and we received 2 visits in the morning from housekeeping to see if we were still in the room. The first visit at 9am woke us up. Other than that it was a great stay.

As a female traveling with my daughter I was looking for something that was safe, clean, and easy access to our activities. This location had that PLUS more!
Front Desk Staff and Housekeeping were SO NICE! Very helpful and always pleasant.
Area — felt very safe as it was located near a lot of corporate offices — well lit parking lots, access only through room key, etc.
Hotel has been open for years but we felt like it had just opened — everything smelled great, rooms, hallways, general use areas all looked brand new.
Breakfast in the morning was more than acceptable — just the right amount of choices for everyone and well thought out. Something for everyone in the family to enjoy!
Was in the middle of many of the freeways/​highways so it was really easy access to everything.
We travel quite a bit for soccer and this has definitely become our #1 option!

So much to say. I will keep it as much a minimum as possible

I arrived distraught. Melissa at the front desk took me in as if I had a broken wing. I guess I displayed that need! Haha
She went over and above her call of duty!
The details of her actions are long and not limited. The most simple? Making sure I had a wine glass for my room as I shared with her I had a bottle of wine in my bag.
I will be sending a separate list direct to the hotel of her awesome Customer service
This type of service is what sets you apart.

Whomever the Caucasian older lady that works Saturday nights at 11 at the front desk… Is a racist. The way she spoke to me with a loud demeaning tone while checking in the same color folk treating with them the utmost respect and kind voice made it very clear who I was to her… Please get someone who is cultured, respectful, open minded and professional to work your graveyard shifts! The other employees during the day are incredibly nice, breakfast bar is a hit and the rooms are great … But that old racist lady voids out all the goodness of hotel and staff with her outdated mindset and unnecessary attitude!

Reasonably comfortable stay. Two double beds, no frills. We transited through the area to catch a flight early next morning. 13 minute drive to the airport. Early breakfast at 6:30.

We stayed here and the room was nice the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. The bedroom thermostat and air conditioner was difficult to operate and we were roasting hot all night. Then it suddenly turned on at 8 am and got cold! Instructions on how to set thermostat would be good next to it on wall.

Well. Springhill suites are always fairly well maintained and not too pricey. This property was no different. I had to do a last minute study in sacramento and needed a place to stay. Being a Marriott platinum member, I am naturally drawn to Marriott properties. This Springhill property happened to be .5miles from my study. Location was nice and clean, amenities were plentiful and the staff was extremely friendly. Forgot to mention, it was less than $ 100 a night! Unbelievable.

Came to town for the Aftershock concert and had reserved my room on line based on location. Very friendly front desk and easy check in. Room was nicely decorated and up to date. Beds were comfortable and mini fridge in room was a plus. My only complaint was the parking– or should I say lack of? Circled lot 4 times on a sat night and was mad at how people parked taking two spaces. I thought the parking stalls were very narrow and with a new car was not loving it. Front desk had me park in an open area by trash dumpsters so it worked out. I would choose this hotel again if passing thru area.

Came to Sacramento to take my TEAS test. Brought my kids with me. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool.
The room was great for what we needed two double beds and a soda bed. Room was nice and clean. Staff was super nice and accommodating.
Breakfast served from 630 – 900 not spectacular but nice and free :) microwave and fridge in room bonus. Lots of restaurants nearby. Most within 15 minutes. This place is 3 minutes from the University of Phoenix and the Art Institute if you happen to have any business there.
The only complaint I’d have is if you are a light sleep you may have a hard time. I was awoken one night by the alarm clock in the next room, and the 2^nd night by someone running down the hall.
Cost wise it isn’t cheap, not by my standards anyway $ 139 the first night and $ 159 the second.
Overall a nice place to stay.

As a business traveler, I wanted to take a moment to post a review since my experience here differed so much from one of the sister hotels that is actually a lower level according to Marriot. (Courtyard Airport Natomas is a 2 and this one is a 3). I’m not sure how these levels are assigned, but aside from the indoor pool/​jacuzzi and free breakfast, this hotel fell short for me.
Pros — Clean, indoor jacuzzi/​pool, free breakfast
Cons — Extremely slow WiFi, as a Silver member on my way to Gold, was only able to get a room with Double Beds, front desk staff on the day I checked in was not as friendly or helpful as my experience at the Courtyard, TV in room is placed oddly and hard to view from the bed, breakfast was out of most things and served water that tasted like non-​filtered tap, rewards member preferences weren’t acknowledged (I always get rooms away from elevator, and I was assigned the first room outside of the elevator on my floor).
Overall it was not a horrible experience, but was quite disappointing when compared to other options in the area within the same chain and outside of it.

Been coming here over 10 years. Recently, this place has changed. Not sure why? Breakfast used to be set out early 5 am by a friendly lady. For many years this was the case. Now, you have a man who won’t let you grab anything until 630. The newspaper to your door disappeared as did the comp water. The free drink and snack night also vanished.
Other than that, it is still clean, staffed by friendly people, lit parking lot, close to food, and well maintained hotel.

The hotel wasn’t bad. The room was clean and actually had a lot of space — there is a seating area with couches plus a desk/​office area separated from the bed area.
There is no room service so you will need to get your own meals or get delivery. Luckily, there is a group of restaurants nearby. (The Indian place called Ruchi is awesome.) The hotel does include a free breakfast until 9 on weekdays and a bit later on weekends. It wasn’t the greatest breakfast ever, but pretty decent. It had cereal and milk, scrambled eggs, ham/​sausage, bagels, muffins and then on weekends they have a wafflemaker with batter. The Sunday I was there, they were a little slow to replenish everything.
The room came with a coffeemaker, empty mini fridge and microwave, so if you wanted to run to the store and get stuff cheap to eat, you could. They had a little sundry next to the front desk with OTC medicine, drinks, candy, snacks, frozen burritos and ice cream.
As for in-​room stuff, they give you shampoo and conditioner, but no lotion or mouthwash or toiletries other hotels have. I didn’t use the pool or workout room and I declined housekeeping, so can’t comment there.
Free wifi got slow at times, but was generally rather decent. I couldn’t complain about it.
All in all, for what I paid, which was $ 92 average a night, I thought it was a good option.

I was looking for a Marriott branded Hotel near my Sacramento office and this place was recommended by a local colleague.
Location:
It had everything I needed for my stay, Starbucks, Jamba Juice and incase of emergency a liquor store close by. Downtown Sacramento was not that fat either.
Amenities:
Other than that the hotel has an indoor heated pool, the tiniest gym with only cardio equipment, free parking, free wifi, a bed, a desk, a kitchenette and a couch. The bathroom was a bit dated and the heater was loud and woke me up a few times, and the person above me had heavy feet.
Breakfast:
The free breakfast was good, not great but free. They don’t subscribe to WSJ at this hotel so that kinda bummed me out, but they have other newspapers.

We’re surprised as to how nice the room when we got here. Everything smells so good and nice. It’s like they sprinkled a fresh laundry scent in every corner of the hotel. I like their photos on the wall, it’s a little bit relaxing to stare at. I love their bed, very comfortable. The only complain I have is the limited channel they have, just one HBO? Plus, the tv was so slow not sure why.
Gym is open 24 hours. The indoor pool and jacuzzi operates from morning until 11pm — I think that is the coolest! Although the pool has a cold water. I enjoyed the jacuzzi though.
Breakfast was okay. Like what the receptionist told us, whatever is in the photo, that is what they serve. It’s disappointing though that they only offer those waffles only on weekends because «they want to promote a healthy living.» The person working on the kitchen looks grumpy though. It’s like he’s watching every movement of the customers who are having their breakfast. Perhaps, he can’t wait for 9am so he can take away all those food in the table… which he did! At exactly 9am… breakfast was closed. In three minutes time, he almost clear the space. He even turned off the orange juice machine. I tried to get another cup around 9:04, but nothing is coming out on that machine. Oh well, maybe I need to get up early?

A fairly standard Springhill Suites in a quiet office park located conveniently near I-​80 and I-​5 but just far enough away that you don’t feel like you’re at roadside motel.
On the whole the Springhill Suites offering is a pretty good one: All rooms are suites, though at this property they’re not much bigger overall than standard rooms elsewhere. There’s an indoor pool and hot tub, and wifi and a breakfast buffet are included in the room price.
