Smog Pro

Came here to see if my bf’s car will pass smog because of an aftermarket part, Ou was nice enough to check the aftermarket part first before he even decided to go through with the smog, he said it wasn’t going to pass so we left, ordered an OEM part, replaced it, came back, Ou checked it out again and approved and went ahead with the smog check. I really appreciate people who will not try to take advantage of you.

Been going to this place for all my regular smog. For me, it is usually 10 minutes and I’m out the door no questions ask. They know what they are doing and are pretty chill. Best of all, they also have a diagnose place if you fail so you won’t have to take it to another place to get it smog again and then fix the problem. Also, it was pretty good knowing that they were the only place that would touch my friend’s supra when no other smog place would.

i cant really give 5 stars because i never wwent in. but ive called a few times with question and they were the most polite and helpful. they are more knowledgeable then the others ive called too

The guy at the front counter was not friendly. Made me wait 2 hours before they told me they didnt feel «comfortable» smogging my car. I wouldn’t go here ever again. Very unprofessional.

Went in for a Smog Check on Labor day and it was fast and simple. Took no more than 15mins and most cars $ 50 flat.

Finally, a smog shop that knows what they are doing.
Failed smog after 12 years of owning my car :(The previous place, where my car failed, told me to put some cleaner and yada yada this and that. Failed. The guy just shrugged his shoulders and didn’t care because he got paid and that was it. Bay area for ya: p Went to another place to get it check and didn’t give me any clear answers.
Anways, drove to Sacramento and found this place. I had my cat replaced and pre tested to make sure. Drove ALOT of miles and smogged the next day. PASSED.
They actually took the time to find out whats wrong with my car instead of just taking my money and sending me out my way.
Good helpful advice, fair prices, and they finish on time. A smog and repair shop with great helpful people that know what they’re talking about.
Be back in two years.

Well I have used Smog Pro 5 times now and have recommended them many more. They have always been great. After today I don’t think I will go out of my way to use them or recommend them anymore.
I knew I would have to wait as it was Monday morning and I got there about 10 minutes after they opened. Not a problem. I took my diesel pickup down and asked what it would be. I was told $ 50 and that was about what I expected and about what others charge. When they guy up front called me up he told me that it would be $ 50 but only because the guys in back screwed up and it should be $ 90 because my truck was way over 8500 pounds gross weight. Actually my truck is 8800. What is stupid about the whole thing is a diesel only requires a quick inspection and a visual inspection to see if there is black smoke coming out the tail pipe. Way easier and quicker than a normal smog.
After watching the guy up front talk with the customers I was not at all impressed. More of a you passed and you failed without much explanation. It is just not the friendly and helpful place it once was. Not exactly horrible but not worth hunting them out either. I might try them again but only because I work very near there but don’t think I will be taking the truck back anytime soon. And the truck he said I should have paid $ 90 for took exactly 9 minutes and 38 seconds from the time the tech started it until he was driving it out of the shop.

This place is the best! Ou and Sean are great guys. I’ve been there with my cars and recommended them to my friends and family. I’m cool with Ou and Sean. Very friendly and in an out fast! At least they don’t try and distort more money from customer if they know the car is gonna fail like other shops.

This is the only place I go to. 5 stars across the board!

this shop is awesome. friendly, fast and cheap. Got my car smog for $ 40 dollars. =)

This shop is open early, open weekends and quick/​helpful.
My car is pretty decently modified but he let me know right off the bat what I would need to swap out, hide, or fix BEFORE spending his time and my money smoging the car just to fail.
I took it home did all the work and came back early the next morning. He got me in and out within 15 minutes $ 40.00 OTD
I definitely recommend!

This place is awesome, Fast Clean Simple. I had a 1994 Toyota Previa that failed smog and then my buddy Allan recommended Smog Pro.
The guy named Ou (yeah thats all) took care of us. He rev’d up the car for a few minutes and blew out any smog soot, crud that was piling up in the vehicle and the car passed. Other shops were asking $ 150 — $ 200 buck to look at it.
The third and fourth car we took there, we were in and out in 15 minutes.
Plus he gave us a really good discount that was 30% lower than his posted prices.
If you need a car taken care of, this is the place.
