I came in because my car kept shutting off while I was driving it. It had done this on and off for years. Every place I went to never addressed the problem. I called ML Audio because I thought it was possibly my after market alarm system that created this malfunction. He found the problem right away. It was my ignition. He ordered the part from Honda and had my car fixed in no time. Totally a super reliable and affordable place.

I scheduled an install a few days ago and it was great. He was reasonable, timely and performed the job in a few minutes. Couldn’t have been happier.

Last week I went in to install a car alarm for my 2001 Honda Civic and I spoke to Minh Lu. He was very helpful and installed it for a good price and works great. Definitely coming back for my Audio system.

Was quoted a price of $ 450 for tint and installation of amp.
Ridiculous prices for a simple job. Cant speak for his work but I think its a rip off.

I’m probably not the standard customer at Minh’s shop, but he sure treated me like a regular. Great service, great prices, and great work. I just needed a new stereo in my family minivan, so I could utilize BT for my phone. No huge woofers, no screaming amps. Just a new radio.
Minh took the time to explain all the options available, had several models to choose from in his tidy showroom, and laid out all the prices.
Everything was reasonable, and I felt comfortable with his reviews. He’s been doing custom stereo installation now for 15 years.
I dropped the car off at open (9am) and he texted me at 11. There was a brief mixup, as the radio I had requested was damaged. I opted for a different model, and he texted me a picture of it prior to installation to ensure it was ok to go ahead.
When I came to pick it up, he showed me how to hook up the BT audio/​phone and other features.
All in all, it was a great experience. If you need booming base, powered subs and amps, this is the place.
If you need something a little simpler, he doesn’t make you feel like you went to the wrong shop.
Highly recommended.

I came here based off of the reviews from Unilocal and I have to say that Minh is hands down one of the most knowledgeable and polite persons I have come across in the Audio Industry in the last 10 years. His prices are ridiculously affordable and his workmanship is bar none! Minh took care of my Mustang, which was a sound system nightmare since the time I had bought the car! Per my request, Minh took everything back to stock. He even let me know upfront the minimum price he would charge if he had seen something wrong that wouldn’t allow him to move forward with the install. I’m not into fluffing reviews and these words are genuinely mine. Thank you Minh for helping me and my Mustang out!

Amazing work. Tint job was fast and it’s cool that his shop is 5 minutes away from my house. Excellent customer service. He even put on some decals for me. I’ll be back soon to get my visor on the front windshield. I highly recommend this place.

ML did a great job installing my Kenwood stereo, not only was it installed correctly but it was done in a timely manner and I was in and out in no time. I highly reccomend this place, they know what they are doing. Thank you.

Came in to get my audio installed, and Minh was the one to help me out. He was very straight forward and creative as well. I was able to have a couple of things done that would cost me more if I had them done at other audio shops. I would recommend you guys come here for any audio work!

I recently purchased a Kenwood powered subwoofer and needed to have it professionally installed. I was referred to ML Audio by the owner of VIP Auto body (check out review). I called and setup an appointment with Minh. When I arrived, Minh checked out the subwoofer and provided suggestions as to different ways that it could be installed and how I could improve the overall sound system. My days of needing to have the loudest and hardest hitting system in the community are over. However, my goal was to add a little bass to my factory setup, and improve the clarity of my vehicle’s midrange speakers. Originally I planned on replacing all 8 speakers, and powering the new speakers with a 4-​channel amplifier. However, Minh suggested that I only replace the two front speakers (for obvious reasons), and go ahead with the powered subwoofer install. Based on whether or not I like the performance of the new speakers (Infinity Kappa 693.9i), then he would suggest installing the 4-​channel amplifier. I took Minh’s advice and had the powered subwoofer and 2 front speakers installed.
Because I was late for my appointment, Minh needed to keep my car overnight. The next day Minh called to tell me that the install was complete. Per my request, he installed the subwoofer’s bass control in a concealed area (no need to advertise for potential thieves). I noticed that the install was extremely clean with no visible wires. He conducted a demo of the system, and I was impressed by the clarity and loudness of the new speakers. More than likely I will come back in order to have the rear speakers replaced. I recently purchased an OEM leather seat kit for my vehicle, so I will bring this to Minh for installation this summer (yes he does upholstery too).
Overall I was satisfied with the service and products that I received. Minh does a great job of providing suggestions without coming off as being too pushy. I like the fact that he is knowledgeable about car audio (unfortunately not every business owner possesses this trait). I will definitely be back!

First off, I cant say enough great things about Minh. he took care off my car alarm a year ago and last weekend he did a great job on my wife’s SUV. he changed all 4 doors of the
wife’s SUV door locks have not been locking. i scared to bring it anywhere because anyone could have opened the SUV and took whatever belongings we had in there.
Minh is a great guy, he doesn’t hustle you, he is for the customer and I appreciate it! He saved us a lot of money, whereas if i brought it to honda, they woulda charged us an arm & a leg but i know with Minh, he installed it right and I trust his work. thank you for taking care if us.

Minh was great! I called him a couple of times for price quotes for different things. I suggest calling before dropping in because it’s a one man show or it was the day I was there and by no surprise he was pretty busy. You can tell he’s a straight up guy and he did a great job on installing my car stereo. I would recommend going to him.
As far as pricing goes, I would say he has competitive prices and I’d much rather give him my business than to some big box store. And not sure if anyone cares but i noticed he set the car stereo clock for me and he sat in the car with me after the install to make sure I saw everything worked properly and paired the bluetooth to my phone.

I wanted to have an XM/​Sirius installed in my Subaru, but I was thinking that I didn’t want to have Best Buy do the work since their last install looked pretty lame.
Thankfully I found M&L.
Minh was professional, friendly, and skilled. When was finished the unit looked like it had been installed by Subaru.
Only it cost20% of what Subaru would have charged.

Just had them install a back up camera, equalizer, and xm radio in my truck im very happy with the result will take my other car for audio work.

Met Minh when he was working at Yung’s Beat Shop where he helped installed a big stereo project on my truck… Ever since then, I knew he was legit. Now that he has his own shop, I take my cars to him whenever I need help with car electronics. Very reasonable prices, work done in a timely manner, and he’ll sit and explain everything you need to know. Legit!
