I have been a stylist «shopper» my entire life, especially through Groupon. Meaning, I have never had a stylist that I go to on a regular basis. That is, until I met Summer-​Rae. I took my mother in law to see her on a Groupon deal. Not only was my mother in law impressed with her, but she fixed my botched up bangs cut for free! I knew from that cut, she would do an amazing job on an overall cut. And sure enough, she did not disappoint. For the first time in my life, my hair has layers that are not «choppy» & blunt. The layers are distinct & yet flow beautifully. Summer Rae strives to please you, but will not compromise the health of your hair. With her color expertise, she restored my dry, over bleached hair, to gorgeous. I’m now very excited about my balayage highlights. She is a master in her craft, but is not threatened by others who want to be the same. So she teaches and inspires other fellow «artists» to reach excellence. She’s real, not snobby. And she does not have one fake bone in her body. So chatting with her while getting your hair done is refreshing, not annoying. Last, but certainly not least, the rates for her services are reasonable. Ladies, you can now have an equivalent $ 200 New York City haircut, right here in Sacramento, but not pay near that amount! You too can have a trusted, regular «go to» stylist, in Summer-​Rae; I know I do. Thank you Groupon for leading me to her. I will no longer need your «hair» deals. I hate to be dramatic, but I’ve found the one! Where have you been all my life?

Summer Rae is one talented lady. I’ve always had to go into hair appointments expecting to be disappointed until I sat in her chair. The first time, she gave me the cut & length that I actually wanted — how often does that ever happen?! When the salon was still Wildflower, another stylist she worked with ended up making me hate & really damaging my hair. To note, it takes quite a bit for me to fuss about something. For months & months I kept my hair, not knowing what to do with it… not only that, I had wasted $ 250 on it. *Enter Summer Rae* Seeing how awful my hair’s condition was, she really set my hair back on track. She knew exactly what to do & only had my best interest. It’s always a pleasure to sit in her chair because she works to make sure you’re happy with what you have. Of all the stylists I’ve ever trusted my hair with, she is the only one that continues to have my trust!

Summer Rae did an AMAZING job on my haircut and color. I was previously really unhappy with my cut and she blended everything perfectly. I signed up for one of her complete hair makeovers for free and never expected to have such amazing results. I will continue to go to her and will happily pay full price. There are so many salons and stylists in Sacramento and being new the area, I hopped around from stylist to stylist never really being happy with how I looked. I have been going to my stylist for years but she was booked up and was going on vacation. So I would not be able to see her for a month and my hair was pretty long and I needed it cut. I saw Summer-​Rae on Facebook and reached out to her stating I needed a cut/​color. She wrote back to me right away and we made an appointment. Summer-​Rae has a very friendly personality and she was also easy to talk to. She gave me an excellent cut and color and was meticulous in her attention to detail on my hair. I am not going to lie but I was nervous letting someone else cut my hair but it was well worth the risk and it all paid off. I am very satisfied with her work and I would totally recommend Summer-​Rae for all of your hair needs.

Summer Rae is so amazing, I just love her! Not only does she listen, she’s also super funny and sweet. That girl is so super talented and genuinely loves what she does! Summer-​Rae is probably my favorite human. She is sassy and funny and always always in a fantastic mood. I was new to Sacramento when I searched for a new hair stylist. I’ve always been exceptionally picky. I either love the cut and hate the color, or vice versa, or the stylist and I don’t click, or any numerous petty things. Summer-​Rae is not only the best, most satisfying hair stylist, but she’s now my friend. She has the professionalism and education to provide the best hair care, skin care or body care advice. She truly loves what she does and you can see it in every second you sound with her. This woman is amazing and, as I’ve told her many times, she’s one of the many reasons I’m staying put in Sacramento. I’m so excited to see how far she goes with her career.

She is also a mentor and teacher and a head stylist and the salon director at her salon. Although she is very accomplished, she still keeps Her rates very competitive without sacrificing any quality. She has fantastic customer service and her guests love her work and her friendly personality!
