Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits

Absolutely frustrated with this particular store. I always get all dark meat, legs, thighs, and wings. I ALWAYS end up with side, and center breasts which as most of us know is white meat. I wish whomever is responsible for this location emphatically makes everyone understand, including the night manager who thinks breasts are dark meat, AND have the nerve to ask me if I paid for it? News Flash! If I wanted breasts I wouldn’t PAY for dark meat only! The sides tend to be incorrect as well. Since the this location is over 30 minutes from my home, the LAST thing I want to discover is my order screwed up again, especially after asking NOT to include breast meat! The only consolation for me now, is to find another location further away

This place is okay. The location isn’t too bad. I’ve ordered here once before and honestly it’s way better than kfc but it’s not the best. This is a good place to eat if you’re craving fried chicken but are on a budget. They always have coupons so look out for those in the mail!

Great employees! Very hardworking, efficient, and fast. The only drawback will be the patrons.
Not all, but every time I’ve visited, there’s always someone difficult. Either their order is short of an item (which usually isn’t), they’re unsatisfied with their meal (after eating a good portion of it), or they just want something free. I don’t get it!
Anyway, great food and service. I just feel sorry for the workers with the type of crowd that they have to deal with.

Food is good but the service is horrible. They always rush you to order but take forever to give your food.

Service here ABSOLUTELY SUCKS every time the White manager is not on duty! The staff and the bad attitude on-​shift asst manager are always in granny gear with an undercompensated stick up their ass.

The drive thru service needs some improvement. The female employee who took our order took her time. She appeared distracted. She did not know the special and/​or total amount for the deal this month. The chicken was not cooked all the way. You’d think with all of these reviews they would change their services. Smh. I wished I read the reviews before coming here. Like other Unilocalers drive a little further to another Popeye’s.

This place doesn’t deserve 1 star. Ordered a five piece meal today and when I received my meal I open it to find a big bug cooked in one of the chicken strips. I then almost threw up the chicken strip I was eating and left it on the ground. I went in to show them this and they acted like this was no surprise at all. I notice why this wasn’t a surprise now that I read some of the other reviews on here as people also found bugs in their food as well! I got my money back after the manager did a full inspection of the meal as she counted each chicken strip thinking I was trying to get over by lying saying that I had a 5pc. Probably won’t ever be back to this Popeye’s location and I don’t think you should either.

If I could put zero stars I would! We just bought an 8 pc family meal from this location and when we opened the box to eat, there was a dead cockroach in the box! When I called them back, the manager apologized and told us to come back to replace the chicken. Why would I ever want to get food from a place that has cockroaches?!? She said that that’s all she could offer me, and of course I refused! I’ll be calling the Corporate headquarters as well. Everyone beware!

Ok so the food is good but like everyone has pointed out the customer service here is terrible. 20 minutes waiting in line in the drive thru is unacceptable and then when I pull up to the window they don’t even acknowledge that, no sorry no nothing.

Love eating here. Getting pricey. I paid for extra sauce and still wouldn’t give me extra sauces.

Chicken is good, service is horrible. No disrespect to the lady taking orders in the drive through, but she talks so fast and with a strong accent it’s really hard to understand what she’s saying.

This was my first visit to a Popeye’s Chicken restaurant in almost 2 years. I moved to Sacramento from Los Angeles California and thought I had left the best chicken evaaaaaar behind. When I happened to be driving past this particular Popeyes on a Friday night with a friend of mine and insisted she stop. I walked in in a daze– I really never expected to be able to eat here again unless I visited my family in LA, and I walked up to the cashier like… I don’t even know what I want I’m so excited! (side note: I’m a fat girl.) the cashier was probably the nicest fast food restaurant employee I have ever met in my life. her name was Amari… and she didn’t even laugh at me while I stood there LOOKING LIKE AN IDIOT trying to figure out what kind of chicken and in what number of pieces I wanted. She even made sure to hook me up with a biscuit as a bonus and when I was unsure of ordering red beans and rice she just told me to go ahead and go for it girl you only live once! YES GIRL, SLANG THEM RED BEANS! anyhow this review is ridiculously long considering this is fast food, but I have to note the restaurant was spotlessly clean, the cashiers were nice (especially mine), it was very well staffed and everything was coming out fresh, and I didn’t have to order from behind bulletproof glass and get my food from a little pass thru window like I do in LA. for fast food it was a very pleasant experience all around and I took my fat ass home and I ate all that chicken and I’m not even mad about it. so yes, go here, eat chicken, get a fatter ass than you already have.

January 26, 2015 — Popeyes — Location 2779 Stockton Blvd., Sacramento, CA
Went with a coupon printed from the internet and was informed by the manager that our coupon was not good because they did not have it in their system nor did he not heard of it. He then proceeded to question us where we got the coupon. He then offered us their deal which was the exact same as our coupon but their deal was costing more $$. The manager was rude and showed no customer service at all. Our experience that night has been reported to Popeye’s Corporate office. We will never visit or frequent that place again

This place is ridiculous. In the drive-​thru ordering a 5pc Tenders Combo. We were told a 5 minute wait. We were given our soda, and was told to drive up. No receipt was given. We waited 20 minutes! Finally a woman comes outside to ask if we are waiting for something. We tell her the tenders strips. She says, «Oh yeah, they just came up». She comes back with the wrong side items. She goes back in, while I check the chicken. We only have 4 pieces. When she comes back outside, we tell her we are missing a piece. She says we only paid for 3! Since we were given no receipt, I had to show her my bank account on my smartphone that they charged me for 5! 0 stars!

My first time having Popeyes and the experience was just not pleasant. Customer service was horrible. It was my fault that I forgot to mention it’s a to-​go order (cashier didnt ask either) and when my number was called and I realized oops… I apologized and kindly said to the girl that I forgot to mention it’s a to go order and the girl literally toss my receipt on the counter and gave me a dirty look. She was showing her attitude the entire time she packs my food. My food were being tossed into the bag, the box. Not to mention, I found out I got less biscuits than what I ordered. I probably won’t come back to this location or Popeyes.

I love the chicken and fries! But please Popeyes work on your customer service skills. Went to drive thru made me pull over and wait for the food. I’m sitting in my car waiting and still no food :(had to walk inside to grab it. Food may be great but customer service isn’t so great.

EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I. GO. HERE. MY. ORDER. IS. WRONG. How hard is it to take an order!!! Coming here is like talking to a brick wall, and I don’t like talking to a brick wall. I will never come here again. Fire everyone and start over.

This used to be an excellent location until they decided to BREAK HEALTH CODES by allowing dogs in the restaurant!

Food is good. I ordered Cajun Fries (My favorite!) & 9pc chicken for $ 8.99.
When I went through their drive-​thru — &got to their window the cashier said, «Sorry, do you have cash?» When I tried handing her my CC. Her manager then appeared and informed me their CC machine wasn’t working.
«It’s fine.» And, I handed them cash.
So then, the manager offered me a free drink for the trouble.
Good service.
