I just wanted to pass on a very unfortunate experience I had dealing with Patricia Fong’s practice… my daughter just moved from Southern California to Northern California in the past couple of weeks (she is a 31 year Doctor with Kaiser)…so as I am trained in the dental field I checked Unilocal for highly rated orthodontists just as I did in Southern Calif to find a great orthodontist to transfer her too as my daughter still as to get the last 40% of her teeth straightening to get finished and the great Doctor we had down south didn’t have any recommendations in this area. I checked Unilocal and called Dr Fongs office as she was highly rated… the girl on the phone told me I would need to have all of the ex-​rays and fills sent to them before they could give us a estimate of the cost to finish the process with Dr Fong which made sense to me as I worked in a dental office for many years… so I called my Orthodontist office and asked that the files be sent to Dr Fong including the ex-​rays and all notations of work done… the girl at Dr Fongs office also mentioned it would take a few appointments to get the final price to complete the process… that didn’t seem to make sense to me as we had previously seen a number of other 5 star Orthodontists when we were starting her treatment and they all made the estimates in one visit… so I went into the office to speak to them in person… the pleasant girl at the counter told me the same thing and said i needed to have all of my daughters files sent to them before they could schedule the 1^st appointment… after having my wonderful orthodontist tranfer all the ex-​rays and files to them the girl at Dr Fongs office gave me an appointment but I still had no idea why there needed to be more than one appointment as I had never heard of that before… the day before the appointment I received a call form their office to make sure I was aware it would cost me $ 85 for the 1^st appointment… I said I was never informed of that and since there was another appointment needed to get the final price to finish the work I asked if there was another previously undisclosed charge for that appointment also… I was told yes the second appointment to get the final price to do business with DR Fong would be an ADDITIONAL $ 130 more!!! I was floored… I then asked in shock… you mean it going to cost me at least $ 215 even though we had our own ex-​rays and current files and 2 separate appoints just to get Dr Fongs price to finish the work??? She said yes that’s their policy… I said you mean i have to pay at least $ 215 and waste 2 appointments just to get a price from Dr Fong? She again said yes… I then told her it would have been professional for you to have made that clear before we had the files sent to your office and wasted the time getting the appointment… I have never heard to a reputable Orthodontist charging for a consultation (though I have not contacted everyone of them out there but we interviewed a few before deciding on our last one which was great). After this extremely unprofessional and time wasting experience we decided to go elsewhere as we didn’t ant to waste 2 appointments and $ 215 just to get a price to spend thousands of dollars with Dr Fong… I would recommend you look elsewhere also!

Two of my boys have been going to Dr. Fong, and they have been very comfortable with the entire staff there. They are professional, child friendly and great. Most of all, the wait time is usually zero to 5 minutes. What more can I ask for in an orthodontist office.

My son recently completed his orthodontic treatment with Dr. Fong. I can not overstate the quality of care that he received. The professionalism and courtesy, and genuine caring of all the staff truly set the bar for quality care. I came to not only appreciate that care but also the example of professionalism and character that the entire staff set for my son (and me). I do not ordinarily posts comments online, but based on the great orthodontic treatment and quality care that my son recieved, I thought it was a simple way to show my gratitude to Dr Fong and staff, and perhaps help someone in my community looking for a great orthodontist. You will not be disappointed!

Dr. Fong is a great Orthodontist the entire office staff is friendly and kind, she cares about all her patients. My daughters teeth are already straight only 12 months into her treatment. I’m so glad she is our family orthodontist! Next up my son. Thank you Dr Fong :)

For a fraction of the cost of Invisaligns (the only option offered to me by 3 other dentists), Dr. Fong straightened my teeth. She and her staff are cheerful, objective, and highly professional! I would recommend her highly to anyone interested in first rate orthodonic care.
