Simple shoe store. Cute durable boots. Fair prices. They always help me when I need. Like most of the stores in the mall, their policy is no refunds. Also here’s a tip for my fellow Unilocalers, don’t purchase from stores if you are unfamiliar with their return policy.

What kind of store does not give refunds under any circumstances? This one! My daughter used her hard earned money to by me a pair of boots for Christmas. Little did she know that every pair of boots on that wall were designed for women with large calves. No regular sizes at all. I took the boots back that were bags on my calves and commenced to trying on one pair of large calve boots after the next for about an hour. The employees witnessed the problem I was having. So finally I gave up and left with the boots not accepting their store credit offer because what good would that do? I was shopping for boots! I did ask how to reach the owner since the«powerless» managers there could not make my situation right and give me a refund. So I took the card with Nicole Thuy’s email address and emailed her and explained my situation and guess what? She ignored me! No response after 5 days! So I went back to the store and tried on more boots in case I missed something. Again a store employee watched as I tried and tried. She was then nice enough to text the owner for me but this owner Miss Nicole once again did not respond. The employee then told me to come back again the next day for the store manager. I came back the next day and spoke to Tony Nguyen the store manager and explained my plight and even after I explained how they were a gift, he was very flip and pointed to his sign that said no refunds. Once again, I tried on more boots. I then asked this«powerless» manager if he could try to reach the store owner for me and he argued, «I’m not going to bug her about something like this and she will have an attitude». I cannot believe business is being conducted this in 2016 at Arden Mall. I felt like I was in a 3rd world country! So to make this long story shorter I am stuck with a $ 65 store credit to a store that I basically have no hope of using. The shoes here mostly all have glitter on them and look extremely cheap. The moral of this story is to never buy a gift for someone at a place that has a no refund policy especially something to wear. My personal moral of this story is to never shop at a place that does not stand behind their products and basically has this concept to extract every penny they bring in. This is almost theft and shows to me that this store will probably not last long at Arden Mall. My next attempt will be with the Arden Mall corporate heads because I basically feel like I have been robbed! Nicole Thuy I hope this does not happen to you and your child. You might think differently then!

I usually stop by Nicole’s Shoes if I’m in Arden Fair Mall and looking for a new pair of heels for an event or the club. I bought a pair of lace-up stompy punk boots about 2 years ago and they’ve held up pretty well, considering they were less than $ 30. The prices are overall fair and they usually have some sale and clearance sections. Customer service is really hit or miss. Nicole’s seems very similar to Reflection which is just a couple of stores down from it(maybe they’re owned by the same people?)
