Russo’s Shoe Repair

Amazing! The man that works there was polite and wonderful. Fixed two pairs of shoes with messed up soles in less than 10 minutes. Will be back for any shoe issue that I have in the future!

Just as an update, I stopped by in early October and read a sign on the door that they would be closing as of the end of the month. I was able to get my shoes resoled, but it was the last time.
Too bad this great business is closing it’s doors. Great place to get your shoes repaired. I’ll have to start looking for an alternate now.

Unfortunately Russo’s Shoe Repair will be shutting its doors soon, but I must write a review to let everyone know what an exceptional job Christopher and his team do.
I’ve gotten two pairs of shoes repaired at Russo’s and was very impressed on both occasions. Not only were the shoes put back together, but they looked even better than they did before. Great price and great service, it doesn’t get better than that!

I came here because it was close to my work and it had a number of really good reviews, so I was hopeful. I came in on a Monday and the owner (I’m assuming) did say they were really busy and asked if he could get them to me the following Thursday (ten days). It was a little long but I wasn’t in a hurry so I said no problem.
Came by Thursday. After digging through piles of shoes, my shoes weren’t ready. He apologized and asked if I could come by Friday. Came by Friday. Same thing. More apologizing and swore to have them done by the end of the day. Came by the end of the day. Still not done. Offered to have them done by Saturday, but as I was going to be out of town I told him I would instead come by Monday at noon. Came by Monday closer to 3pm and after spending ten minutes digging through piles of shoes finally found mine and guess what– still not ready. I stood there for 15 minutes while I waited for him to do the work putting on new soles and heels.
I’m a patient person, I can understand being busy, and, to his credit, he always seemed sincere in his apologies. But coming back four times in a row to not only not have my shoes ready but have to stand by and wait EVERY time for him to dig through the chaos just to find my shoes… that’s not acceptable.

I recommend coming here. I came in 5 minutes before they were closing. He looked at the shoe told me give him a few minutes and have a seat. 3 minutes later he told me it’s all done and I owe him nothing! Repair was so easy that he charged me NOTHING!!! $ 0 so yes you need a repair come here! Highly recommend this place!

Russo’s Shoe Repair was a great experience– they were extremely fast, friendly, and very inexpensive. I brought in three pairs of shoes for repair expecting to be missing them until at least next week, and walked out in less than 15 minutes with all three pairs completely repaired and looking great– much better than I expected.
The man who helped me talked to me the entire time he was doing the repairs, and was clearly very knowledgable about the wear and tear of certain materials, brands, types of shoes, etc. The shelves and countertops were completely filled with shoes dropped off for repair, clearly evidencing I’m far behind in discovering this little gem of a shop.
