I bought a groupon a couple of months ago for MDRx and I finally used it today. Called initially to make an appointment and they didn’t get back to me immediately so I had mixed feelings going in. First thing you should know, you have to ring the door bell to be let in and they do not do walk-​ins.
Now onto the facial. My facial was done by Paul! He is the sweetest person ever and during the facial he chose products that would help with my very acne prone skin. He walked me through each step so I knew what he was doing and why he was using which product! He really made the whole experience wonderful! He wasn’t pushing products onto me but I definitely bought one!
I already booked my appointment for my next facial and I can’t wait!

Had my facial with Mina. So was very sweet, professional, walked me through each step she was doing and kept checking in to make sure everything wad ok. She has the softest most gentle hands, I almost feel asleep on the bed. Definitely going back, already in contact to schedule me next service. OH, the toner mist spells amazing. Smells like gingerbread. I had to buy some.

and I scheduled my appointment based on the availability THEY had and I NEVER recieved a call confirming my appointment the day before and the day of my apppintment. I left work early and had called them on my way to my appointment and asked them why I wasn’t called the day before and the receptionist just laughed on the phone and said she didn’t know. then she proceeded to tell me that the lady that was suppose to be doing my treatment didn’t even show up for work therefor my appointment wasn’t going to happen. I left a message for the manager at that very moment when the receptionist told me that and it just goes to show how they treat there customers and how slow there management is. because I never recieved a call back. NOT SURPRISED! don’t waste your money here! I let groupon know and they apologized that this location has done this numerous times and I only wish they would have told me this ahead of time.

The esthetician was nice and it was in a nice area and plenty of parking. But the actual facial/​peel burned and scabbed my skin up a ton. I get micros and peels plenty and have never had that reaction. I don’t feel the info I gave them when I signed in was even looked at (concerns, prescriptions I’m on) because basic questions were asked later on that indicated they did not look at the sheet they had me fill out. It is common practice to look that over before doing any procedures. The sheet was taken and set down (not even looked at) and then we went into room.
They use rugged towels and scrape the skin to take off cleansers, lotions, etc. That severely scraped up my skin. You’re supposed to be gentle to the skin, using soft warm towels to pat the skin and gently wipe. My eye area got tore up pretty bad.

This review is for a Facial from a few months ago. The esthetician did a good job with a microdermabrasion. I then was shown the products which were sold by the owner, not the same person as the esthetician. I brought a moisturizer as it has made my skin feel very moist. Got home and the bottle would not pump the product. Short story… called the studio multiple times and no response, poor customer service. The product was not cheap and I will not be returning despite I like the product.

I have been here twice and both times the microdermabrasion facial. Both times were great. Today my facial was done by Sanya and she did a great job and shared a lot of great information on skincare. Sanya is very knowledgable and detail oriented. This location is really convenient for me they seem to always have a great deal being offered. I have purchased their products and find them to be excellent. I typically use skinceuticals and I find the Mdrx brand to be as good if not better.

Can’t get this business to call me back so I can make an appointment. Left 3 messages, emailed and attempted contact through Facebook.

I really enjoyed my facial here with Kayla. I found this place and Groupon and decided to give it s try before my flight Vietnam and it was wonderful. The place has a nice calming feel to it and the facial room is nice and cozy. Kayla is very personable and has a wonderful soft touch. I loved there prices and there homemade products. I will definitely be returning here soon.

So some of my facials have been great at the prices are reasonable but it’s a hit or miss. I was going for about six months and love my first couple of facials.
However after that my facialists started trying to change my appointments because it was inconvenient timing for them and would put me with different girls.
There after each facial was different and each girl had different options and would try to up sell my facial the entire length of the facial. It really killed the relaxing vibe. When I purchase a facial I want to be relaxed not talked about more expensive services throughout.

Been here 6 – 8 times. Sue WAS awesome! But she probably got smart & left. Saw Ariana and I was impressed. The place is a hot mess though. They didn’t have a receptionist forever & now they have one who is either unorganized or given bad info. If you get an appointment don’t count on it sticking! Sad because the product is pretty great. Hope the owner gets some better business sense.

Love this place! Sue is the best– very warm and super knowledgeable. She is always honest about what to expect from each treatment, which I really appreciate!!! I only wish that the spa offered multiple product lines.

I just had my first facial ever done by Debbie with the Grupon I purchased. I’m very insecure about my skin due to many acne scars and dark spots. She made me feel so open and comfortable about my skin and she really knows what she’s talking about! She gave me great suggestions for even OTC products due to me being on a financial budget. She made my face glowing and feel so clean. I will continue to make regular appointments with her to get where I wanna be with clear beautiful skin! Thanks for such the awesome experience!

I’ve had several microderm appts at MDRx and initially wasn’t too impressed with the estheticians. But then Debbie worked on me. Fantastic! She is very knowledgeable about skin and skincare, plus she didn’t try to push any product on me. I highly recommend Debbie.

I had a Groupon for a Microdermabrasion with Debbie and it was awesome. She is very informative and you can tell she knows what she’s doing. I left the place with my skin glowing! Will definitely return!

Bought a Groupon for microdermabrasion and it was great! It was my 1^st facial ever and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Debbie gave me the facial and she was very friendly and informative. After my skin felt so smooth, tight and I was glowing! Can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely horrible experience every step of the way! I bought a deal for three facials for $ 99. Waste of time and money. I refuse to make an appointment for my third facial. Yes, I’d rather lose the money than to deal with these people again. It’s difficult to reach anyone to book an appointment. I’ve had two appointments cancelled. My last appointment I was turned away because the receptionist forgot to add my name to the appointment list despite confirming the appointment that same day. The quality of the facials is mediocre at best. Also, with the exception of my first aesthetician, I found everyone else to be highly unprofessional. In my opinion, not worth it!

I got a massage with Pamela and she was the best! Love her firm massages and she is so sweet too.

I hate writing a bad review but I felt that I needed to in this instance. It was just bad from the very beginning. First, you have to leave a message to make an appointment and I had to call twice before I got a call back. Second, the person on the phone didn’t seem at all interested in making an appointment. Third, the appointment…(here it goes)…I walked into the salon and to only be ungreeted by two women sitting at the desk (one being the manager) asking me what I needed. Well, I am here for my appointment. She asked what procedure I am here for and I told her I wasn’t sure as my gift certificate wasn’t very clear. When she looked at my certificate she said it could be two different types of facials. For fear that I could be charged more, I asked if they were both the exact same price and she said, «basically.» Excuse me? I said, «Ok, then I will take the one that is the exact price of the gift certificate that I brought in.» She proceeded to seem uninterested and said, «which one is that?» I just told her that I would talk to the esthetician and she what she recommends.
I quickly realized that this was not going to be a relaxing facial but more of a in and out sort of thing. I kinda had a feeling based off of the name of the salon. The esthetician was nice but didn’t have that much experience at all. She didn’t even know why the salon was called MDRx. Whaaaattttt!!! To top off the appointment, I had cash for a tip and asked for change and she said she couldn’t get change because the manager is in the middle of an interview. She didn’t have to tell me that as the interview was going on in the front of the store (about 4 feet away!). I even overheard the manager telling the interviewee how to sell the product to customers. Oh my goodness! I couldn’t believe that the interview was more important that the only customer in the entire building. I worked in a salon and everything stops if a customer needs help. So, the esthetician said she would go next door to Temple coffee and asked me to follow her. I couldn’t believe it and either could Temple staffers. I was so embarrassed I ended up buying a cup of coffee and as I was waiting for my coffee the esthetician left. Temple staff said that they do that all the time. I couldn’t stop apologizing. But, of course, I went back next door to give her a tip. Don’t ask!!! Anyway, that is my review people… needless to say, I will not be back!

Just came back from a facial with Nicole. Fantastic! She was so friendly and professional and made me fell relaxed from the get go. I really appreciated her describing various steps along the way and «warning» me when something was coming my way so I wouldn’t be surprised with my eyes closed. My skin looks great and I got exactly what I was hoping for!
I found MDRX through LIving Social, but already booked another appointment. And unlike other places that offer steep discounts (Groupon, Living Social, etc.) no high pressure sales pitches, just a friendly offer at the end. I’ve already purchased my next visit!
