After months of not doing any yard work, i decided it was time to hire someone to come out regularly to take care of it for me. My front yard was full of leaves, hadn’t been edged in at least 6 months, and some bushes were overgrown. My backyard was a nightmare. The rain had caused what little grass to turn to mud (with the help of two large labs), leaves were everywhere, bushes way overgrown, etc… It needed a ton of work. When Max came over to give me an estimate I was embarrassed at how bad my back yard was, I didn’t realize just HOW bad it had gotten. We went over what needed to be done, and what would be taken care of with regular service. He gave me a very fair quote and said he could return in a few days to get it complete.
The day he came out, I was a little hesitant to not be home while he worked after reading a prior review, but I had to be at work so I didn’t have much of a choice. When I got home I couldn’t believe how good it looked! The bushes were back to a practical size, my yard mowed and edged, the backyard all cleaned up, leaves and branches gone! He wasn’t able to mow the little bit of grass in the backyard due to it just being too wet, I had clay ground and all this rain has not been helpful. He said he will be back next week when it’s dryer to get it taken care of, of course at no charge.
My worry was for nothing. I wish I had taken pictures of the backyard just so I could show how bad it was, but I only took pictures of the front. I look forward to my future services with him and will definitely be recommended him to my friends and neighbors.

I am a satisfied customer and I am very impressed with the Great customer service and professionalism they do my weekly yard maintenance and have done A fantastic job. I recently had some hedges removed along with a tree that was a nuisance!!! I would highly recommend them for sure they will now be taking care of my yards needs

Max the owner of this biz is a 19 yr old kid. While he is well meaning and well mannered, he hasn’t yet figured out the biz end of things. And his prices don’t match the finish work or depth of experience he brings.
Starting with time management; If Max said he’d be there at 9am, at 10am I’d have to call and ask when he planned to arrive.
I paid Max $ 1300 to do some minor work to my front and backyard. $ 800 was the 1^st installment for the front.
After completing the front, when he came to complete the back (I uncovered tree stumps in the front that should have been removed, but had instead been covered over with dirt to conceal them. Far too many of them, for it to have been simple oversight.
Much of the time that should have been spent on the backyard was spent redoing what should have already been done in the front.
Max leaves 98% of the work to Frank (the much older experienced portion of this operation.) Frank is very nice and well intention-​ed, but clearly past the prime of being left to complete such labor intensive work ALONE.
If you are looking for simple lawn mowing and very basic work that does not require much labor, then Frank is your guy. And he’s really good with tree trimming. Max just shows up for payment or when Frank calls him and complains about being left alone too long.
Aside from something small and basic, you should find a more experienced crew.
And when you mention to Max that any payment over $ 600.00 requires that he be issued a 1099, be prepared for the «I’m just a 19 year old kid speech» and issue the 1099 anyway!

Just after posting this review, Max texted to say «low blow, thanks for your biz.» I can only assume he read my post before his text.
But he didn’t dispute the facts of my post. That about sums it up!
It was nice to finally recv a thank you for my biz. That’s just basic customer service.

MAX is incredible!!! He mowed my lawn at last minute notice and the rates are incredible! He was on time and polite and the yard looks amazing! I highly recommend him to anyone. I am doing the biweekly service. If you need your lawn done call MAX!!!

I recently needed a lawn care specialist when I was in the process of moving our of Sacramento. The only thing that has gone well in the move has been hiring Max. He has been reliable, trustworthy, and unlike a lot of businesses, he actually does what he says he will do. My yard looks great and Max had been an asset in helping my house get sold. He is also CHEAPER than the idiot I had before. Hire Max and leave your yard worries behind.

These guys are really good. They take their time, go the extra mile and are very efficient and affordable. I highly recommend using them. We have had several lawn services over the years and these guys are the best.
