First time at Luxe and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! The salon was beautiful and customer service was outstanding! Got in on very short notice for a color and facial. They also made time to cut my 11 year old daughters hair in between my color. Lauren was good with helping me decide what color and was excellent about volunteering suggestions. She was very kind and the conversation was good My hair looks amazing now and I will be going back again in a few weeks! The express facial was just what I needed for my poor face LOL. I look 10 years younger… haha I wish… but out helped! Highly recommend Luxe!

Olivia!!! The best!!! This was my first time at Luxe (gorgeous salon), I called for a last minute cut and she was amazing! It is very rare that I leave a salon 100% happy but I sure did yesterday! Olivia was very professional, fun to talk to, and knows what she is doing! Thank you so much for doing your job so wonderfully! (Also if you read this I am team Jordan #bachlorette) haha!

This place is a hidden gem.
I’ll begin by saying I’ve never had a facial in my life until here, and I’m shocked that this type of service is so underrated. In my opinion, a facial is so much more relaxing than a massage and there’s long term skin and beauty benefits! I came across this place through groupon and was weary, but the Unilocal reviews are spot on here.
Today I had my third facial, and it warranted a glowing review from me as I’ve had a terrific experience each time. My esthetician is Bonnie. She is amazing. Knowledgeable, personable, and caring. She has taught me so much about my skin and the products I use and should avoid. Bonnie even asked me to bring in my face and makeup routine products so she could tell me what to keep or perhaps avoid using. Who does that?! A damn good esthetician! She always takes her time with her facials and you just feel so relaxed and calm.
Prices are definitely reasonable and affordable. $ 50 special for a custom facial. And I’m going to try my first microdermabrasion next visit! Can’t wait for all my dark spots to go away… In a few months I’ll have glowing, fresh, beautiful skin! So worth the experience, time, and money. You must check this place out and be sure to ask for Bonnie.

I have been here many times for the amazing facials, and my hair once before. But I must say that this time I was blown away. I don’t have any before pics, but Olivia KILLED it with the color job she gave me today. I tend to float around trying different salons and stylists out, hoping for one to really make something happen that I love. I don’t know enough about doing hair, and rely heavily on input to help me make the right decisions for what will look good on me. Today, my expectations were far exceeded. Olivia took the time to really help me make a good choice, envisioning what she could do, and executed it perfectly. And they have a Keurig coffee maker, with quality dark roast coffee available. Just tossing that one out there as a bonus. Go see her!

I bought a facial Groupon and made an appointment over the phone. Bonnie gave me my facial and she was really nice and informative. I really enjoyed my facial. Great experience. Totally recommend to all.

I found this day spa through Groupon. At the beginning, I wanted the Luxe European Facial which is $ 70 but on Groupon you can get it for $ 30. Then, I looked on their website and was suddenly interested in their acne treatment instead.
I made an appointment for an Acne Peel Lift. I like how I had that option to make and cancel appointments online, very convenient.
I didn’t have any problems with parking. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted and offered water. I filled out a form about my basic information, what I was there for that day, and information about my face. I did not wait long at all, it was probably about a 5 – 7 minute wait for her to set up the room. My esthetician was Bonnie, she was so informative, patient, and nice. I was nervous because I read one bad review on Unilocal about another customer’s experience here but I talked to Bonnie about it and felt better. She informed me about what the peel was. She asked if I ever had a facial before, which I didn’t so she suggested that I start with an acne facial rather than the peel lift. I didn’t know the difference so she explained and let me decide on what I thought was best for me, but since it was my first time ever getting a facial, I decided to start with the acne facial. She then asked me to undress my top and lay on the bed as she waited outside for me. The music in the room was very soothing and the dimmed lights just made everything so much more peaceful. I asked for before and after photos, which she gladly said yes.
Each time she put something on my face, she would let me know, «this is x, y, and z, which does etc…» It made me very comfortable because I knew exactly what was happening. I asked her about a face wash I am currently using and she said that it’s a great cleanser and to stay with it. I don’t have a good moisturizer yet so I asked for her opinion. She did inform me about Image’s face products but not in a way where she was forcing me to buy the products. She also told me what products she was currently using on her face.
Also, with the acne facial is a shoulder massage. Let me just tell you, it was amazing. It was so relaxing. Especially when she finished and placed the warm towels on my face and shoulders! The whole process from the facial to the massage was very relaxing and comfortable.
Since, I checked in on Unilocal,I was able to get 20% off my treatment (one time use) but she advised me to use that on my acne peel lift since it’s more expensive than the acne facial. I did schedule an acne peel lift right after my session. I also purchased a travel size kit of their product to try since I do not have a good moisturizer yet. The kit was $ 12, which was not bad at all.
Bonnie was so sweet. She informed me about her work hours and said that if I get any reactions then to call her right away. She said even if I feel like it was a silly question to call her anyways to double check. I appreciated that.
Overall, I have no complaints. My appointment was at 10am, right now it is 6:37pm and I don’t have any pain or redness on my face. My face feels tight and firm, not dry or oily. My sister said my skin looked really nice and clean today. I told her that I got an acne facial today and she touched my face which made me scream because I just spent $ 50 bucks on it! Lol.
I am looking forward to my next session. I plan to keep going until my acne scars and redness disappear or until I feel that it just isn’t working for me.
I do recommend this place. I had a great first time experience.

I love my new ‘do by Jacqueline! Long layers with caramel highlights! And beachy waves to top it off! I described what I wanted and she read my mind! This was my first time to Luxe & I definitely recommend it! I booked my appointment via Unilocal the day before my appointment (super convenient). Jacqueline is so easy to talk to, we hit it off right away! What more could a girl ask for?!

First time here this morning, and I was in major need of a haircut. Saw Jacqueline and she was awesome! She listened to what I wanted, and I left with a cut I really like. I will recommend her, and I’ll be back. Thanks Jacqueline!

Setup an appointment via Unilocal.Got Jacqueline and was exactly what I needed. The previous person who cut my hair had given me choppy layers and it just wasn’t working. Jacqueline was in agreement and got right down to business. I highly recommend her and will be going back. The best thing was when I said I don’t do anything to my hair In the morning before work there was no snarky comment as I’ve received from some other places. Here’s Someone you can get a good cut with good conversation. Prices are right and natural light in the salon is great! Came home with some great layers, a nice curl and a cut im very happy with! Went to see Lauren for a balayage/​color correction and was in love with the results. I went to a well established hair dresser at a different salon and was disappointed when I walked out with brassy highlights instead of the balayage like I wanted. Lauren made me an appointment quickly and one that fit my difficult schedule. Lauren surpassed my expectations with my hair. She asked me questions and looked at pictures with me via texts and while sitting in the chair at the salon to make sure I would be getting what I wanted. I absolutely love my hair now! Lauren not only corrected my previous color, but colored and styled my hair the way it should have been done in the first place at the previous salon. I receive so many compliments on the color whether my hair is curled or straight. I would definitely recommend Lauren!

I recently came in for a facial skin treatment with Mila. She really listened to my personal skin concerns and took the necessary steps in choosing the treatment that was best for me. She went above and beyond my expectations. I received an extensive facial, a stress relieving shoulder massage and some great advise on how to achieve amazing skin results by following a strict regiment using Image skin products. My skin looks and feels smoother and more vibrant than ever. Most importantly I almost forgot to mention the awesome customer service!

I purchased a Groupon for a European Facial for myself + my Mom. All staff made it easy + accommodating to book an appointment for two + to change it. Bonnie is so sweet + made the experience so relaxing + enjoyable. She was very knowledgeable in all services + gave great tips for skin maintenance. My mom had Mila + enjoyed her first facial– she was smiling + glowing at the end of appointment. They didn’t try to push any products to me.
The room are clean, private + peaceful. Street parking is easy to find. I bought two more facials for gifts on the way out!

I’ve been to Luxe about 5 or 6 times in the last year for facials with Mila, and as long as I’m able to I will continue seeing her. The service is great and my skin has never been better. It’s a great way to rejuvenate and take care of yourself. Love Luxe!

I met with Jacqueline after my previous stylist of 10 years moved too far away. She was absolutely amazing and bleached my hair beautifully. I am in the process of growing out a pixi and she cut just the smallest amount off to re-​shape my hair and remove the dead ends without making me feel like I have lost any length. I would totally recommend her in a heartbeat!

If you want the best go see Monica Gardiner. I’ve been a loyal customer for over 15 years and I have never left disappointed! Plus, I get compliments on my hair all the time

Made an appointment with Kerri for a trim and to add more layering to my hair. I showed up on time and waited about 15 minutes before I sat in her chair. I was offered something to drink and was happy to have a cold water because the salon is upstairs and its VERY toasty up there!
She was super personable and after I showed her several photos of exactly what I wanted to do to my hair… she got started. She did a wash, a cut, some layering, a blow dry, a little curling and I was done! I was surprised at how quickly she finished. She did exactly what I asked for and poof! She was off the next appointment. I was lucky to get in because from what I understand she’s not taking new clients. To who ever booked my appointment, Thank You! :) Great place to go if your in a hurry and don’t have hours to waste while cutting your locks. The price was right too, 45 bucks! I’ll be back in Kerry’s chair in a month or so, no muss, no fuss, my kind of hair cut. In and out with mah hair did in under an hour. Yayessssssss.

I just had Ombré highlights done in my hair by Jacqueline LaGrow and absolutely love it! She sat down with me and listened to what I wanted and then went over the color choices and what the process would be, very professional. I will definitely be going back to Jacqueline in the future! In addition the salon is in a great location and is clean and fun!

I found Luxe on Unilocal and was very glad I did! Shannon gave me the best experience, from giving me a full scalp massage while shampooing to taking her time to make sure the end result was what I wanted. Shannon was easy to talk to but also gave me quiet time as I was being relaxed by the blow drying. I will be back to see Shannon. Prices very reasonable.

Although I have not been specifically to Luxe, I have had amazing color work done by one of their new stylists, Shannon B. Don’t be fooled when I say new, as she has more than ten years of experience and extensive training under her belt! When I came to Shannon in need of help, I had been using boxed color for over a year to keep my natural level 7 hair, jet black. I was ready to go back to blonde, but was concerned about the health of my hair in doing so. Shannon knew exactly what to do and what not to do! Although I wouldn’t be as blonde as I wanted to be right away, I’d be leaving with healthier hair, shades lighter, on it’s way back to blonde. I agreed and was beyond thrilled with the results! My hair was back to the blonde I wanted it to be in just a few more color sessions! All the while looking spectacular! I’m thrilled to have trusted her to know what’s best and not just bleach it out because it’s quick and easy! I would HIGHLY recommend seeing Shannon B. at her new salon, Luxe! Not only is she extremely talented, but she keeps up on the latest styles and trends to keep her clients looking fabulous and up-​to-​date! Get off Unilocal and go see her! You won’t regret it!

My usual stylist up and left town, so I needed to find someone new. I gave Shannon at Luxe a try. I got a great scalp massage, and let’s be honest, that’s why you go to a stylist instead of a barber. The cut was simple, no effort to convince me to do something outrageous. No upset attempts. All good.

I purchased a groupon for a facial here and had a great experience. My facial was relaxing and I left with radiant skin. The salon is upscale looking and the employees were very nice. My groupon had expired but they still honored it. I doubt they do this often, but it was very nice customer service. I give 5 stars to this spa because it was a great atmosphere and my esthetician was informative on skin care.

Came here today with my mom, sis in law, and sister. Got the groupon special for a facial which was $ 35. Nice atmosphere. The girl who treated us was really nice and friendly. I felt relaxed and my skins soft. We all left happy, we also got the microdermabrasion which I recommend. This was a good Christmas gift for us.

The girl was rude and gave me a crap haircut. Won’t be coming back.

Tucked away in Midtown, Luxe is welcoming, friendly, and provides stellar service in a clean and relaxing environment.
I’ve gone to Machelle twice for facials, and she is thorough and approachable. She took the time to learn about my skin type, what my lifestyle is like that contributes to my overall skin health, and she consulted with me on what would be the best service to perform and what the follow-​ups should be.
Not once did I feel like she was trying to sell me anything — it was all genuine, and taking her suggestions proved beneficial when others noticed how great my complexion looks (someone stopped me on the street yesterday, in fact)!
In addition to the inviting environment and fantastic service, I also value Luxe’s easy-​to-​use system to book an appointment online. It’s easy to register and book an appointment, plus it will add the appointment to your calendar, and the system will send you a reminder prior to your appointment.
Luxe uses and sells the Image line, and if you’re not familiar with it, it’s worth taking a look. It’s the one line that I’ve found that doesn’t contain any of the bad stuff (petrolatum, mineral oil, parabens), but actually does a good job and feels and smells luxurious.
I use some of the Image products in conjunction with some of my old stand-​bys (Obagi Vitamin C Serum), and they’re the perfect complement. Try the Ormedic Balancing Facial Cleanser — it’s effective at cleaning but doesn’t give that uncomfortable dry and tight feeling afterward, and it works perfectly with my Clarisonic brush.
While the two services I’ve received at Luxe have been via a Groupon (remember to always pay the full tip amount when using a Groupon, by the way!), I’ll definitely be back as a regular customer!

Imagine:
you have a wedding to be at in a few hours, you have the worst hangover of your life, got MAYBE 6 hours of sleep in the last 48 hours. Yeah… NOT cute.
Luckily for me Luxe came to my rescue. Called and got an appointment same day for hair and make-​up. The guy that took my call and greeted me at the door was so incredibly sweet! He got me in with Jessica? Oh dear, I’m awful with names. (Sorry!) But her work was phenomenal!!! I walked in there a hot mess, and walked out feeling rested and lookin like a million bucks. I got so many compliments.
And their prices! Are you KIDDING ME?! For what I got, I expected a LOT more. Thank you Luxe! You’re a lifesaver!

Heard about this place through Groupon and had an hour-​long European facial with Michelle. Was served a beverage immediately upon entering the spa and felt really welcome from the get go. Michelle and I really hit it off and chatted throughout the entire sesh– she has a natural way of talking to you while working on your face. She doesn’t try to upsell other services/​products, she just recommends based on need. She also massaged my upper shoulders/​neck with this peppermint solution that felt amazing and rubbed my scalp, almost making me fall asleep bc I was so comfortable haha. My skin feels great and I definitely recommend her services :)

I absolutely love this salon. Kerri always makes my hair look incredible and is willing to listen to any of my crazy ideas and then offer a solution that will actually work on my hair.

Machelle is amazing! I’ve never met an esthetician that cared so much for my skin. She is definitely in the right field. She takes time to do it right and when you leave you feel refreshed and revitalized! She can examine your akin to see what it needs. She’s just awesome! I now know where to go for all my facial needs!
