Came here for an oil change and smog. In and out in under 20 minutes and $ 54!
As a single woman it always feels a little scary to get work done, but this shop made me feel comfortable and well taken care of. The employee that changed my oil gave me a few suggestion with ABSOLUTELY no pressure and they even washed my windows. I will be back in 5,000 miles!

Just left there and they are amazing. Very quick service and the employees are not only professional but extremely nice. I like how they aren’t pushy like the dealership and are honest about what needs to be done. I will definitely be taking all my vehicles there.

My boyfriend and I took his car to get an oil change and smog check. Hands down one of the best customer service we’ve experienced!
We were greeted promptly and every worker there had a very positive attitude. There was limited space inside to wait, so one of the workers told us there were a few chairs outside in the grass if we wanted to wait there instead. I’m glad we sat outside because we saw everything they were working on. Besides doing oil change and smog check, they also vacuumed the car, cleaned windows, and checked tire pressure. Doing over and beyond what was expected while still maintaining such a positive attitude. What an awesome work environment to observe! Bathroom was very clean and the whole thing took about 30 minutes.
We gladly gave them a tip because they truly deserve it. Thank you for showing us what customer service is all about! We’ll be back! :D

I have been going to Lube Xpress for almost 7 years now. Chaz and his friendly staff are awesome. They get you in and out in a very timely matter and have great savings coupons on their website. I would recommend their services to anyone in the Sacramento area. They have beenfamily for almost 30 years in Sacramento which is great because I love giving back to small family owned business. 5 stars for sure!

I was in and out of there in 10 minutes even with one car ahead of me. Everyone was very friendly but really, I when I’m getting my oil change the main thing I care about is speed and they’ve got it.

I took my car to the shop & nothing was wrong. They failed the smog just because the check engine light was on. I paid $ 79 just for another shop to tell me nothing was wrong & reset the light. I took it to another smog & passed. I will not go back.

I needed to have my oil changed so I decided to check it out based on the Unilocal reviews. It’s a pretty small garage with one lane for oil changes and the other for smog checks. You pull around the back and wait in the appropriate line for the service you need. I’m not sure if I was supposed to go in to the waiting room to get helped since the people working there just kinda stared at me when I pulled up but after a few minutes someone did eventually come out. She was very friendly and explained the various options and costs I had to choose from for my oil change. Prices are also listed on their website which is nice so you know what to expect going in.
The whole oil change only took about 10 minutes. I went for a short walk to the park across the street and when I came back they were already done! Makes you wonder what they do at the dealership or other oil change places that makes it take like an hour or longer. They even appeared to clean my windshield and vacuum in that time!
I would probably come back again if I needed a quick oil change. It was a great no frills experience, just in and out super quick with no appointment needed. It should be noted that they only do oil changes though and don’t do anything else like tire rotations or anything like that in case anyone was wondering like I was.

Fantastic Service we were in and out within 20 mins went there to go and get a smog test done and they were very helpful and the value was really good!

These smog technicians will fail you in a heart beat.
Their consistant reason for failing you, «change your vaccum hoses.»
My hoses where fine, no cracks.
Heard it on the customer before me, and to my surprise, on my diagnostic as well.
Most frustrating thing, I’ve owned this vehicle for over 8 years, and no test-​only technician has ever given me any trouble.
This technician excuse, «Smog regulations change all the time.»
I went to a different business, Passed with the same hoses! They mentioned to me that some technicians just want your repeated business, so they fail you in order for you to have to come and pay for the re-​test.
Re-​test for the previous customer was quoted at $ 20 + certificate.
Avoid this place! or expect to have to obtain a re-​test!

I love bringing my car here for oil changes. Honest friendly employees! Quick service too.
