Wedding in Hawaii was a success! [Thank you again Amber for our wonderful pictures and for being a great photographer.]
LSP was one of the first vendor that we booked for our wedding and I mean it when I say that there are no regrets booking Amber!
We love her so much that I booked a photoshoot with her and gave it as a Christmas gift to our parents! I can’t wait until the weather gets better so my parents can have their pictures taken. :)

such a pleasure to work with LSP! we definitely recommend their services — photography and cinematography. Our primary point of contact was Amber (owner and photographer of LSP). After our 1^st skype session we decided to book LSP even though we a few other calls scheduled and a lot of time to decide. We connected with her immediately as she was easy to talk to. Very friendly and funny! Her packages were easy to follow and prices really reasonable for both photography and cinematography which allowed us to book both! Throughout the process leading up to our wedding day we communicated through email. She was responsive and timely.
LSP also did our engagement photos which turned out amazing. Her humor made the session a lot less awkward for us — my husband and I. We can be pretty awkward in front of the camera but she gave just enough directions and made it very comfortable. The pictures came quickly after the session!
Wedding day — The LSP team is AMAZING! We can really tell that they are committed to their art/​work! Although we meet most of them for the first time on our wedding day they made everything really comfortable because of how professional and friendly they are. We can’t wait to see the photos and final video!

WE LOVE LOVE STORY PICTURES!
We just got married on June 29, 2013, and we booked with Amber about a year and a half ago. From start to finish, the communication, to the engagement session, to the side meetings, and to the wedding day, they were AMAZING!
We had our engagement session in Downtown Sac and at Sac State and Amber was definitely the easiest person to work with. She incorporated our individual characteristics and made each picture so memorable.
We mainly worked with Amber for the photography and Adriel for the cinematography for the wedding. They were so easy to work with and so helpful, even apart from the videos and photos! Amber was so cooperative and gave us the most helpful advice when it came to what has worked before and what hasn’t. She was so patient with us during out 106 degree wedding day and was there from start to finish to capture all of the memories.
We haven’t even seen the pictures or video from the wedding, but we trust Amber and Adriel’s team so much, that we wanted to share it with the world!

We just had Amber and Christina down to our destination wedding in Zihuatanejo Mexico and they both did a FABULOUS job! I read down in one of the other reviews that says if you are getting married and Amber is not available… you should change the date of your wedding. I could not agree more!
My wife and I had the great fortune of working with two fabulous photographers the day of our wedding, and Amber and Christina were both an outstanding part of that equation.
We immediately felt at ease with Amber. Her amazing eye for detail (Check out not only our wedding pictures on her blog but the other weddings on her blog and see what I am talking about), her willingness to go the extra mile (shooting at both our rehearsal dinner and welcome party as well as in town shots throughout Zihuatanejo on a 90+ degree day) and easy sense of humor made her an absolute delight.
Amber’s ability to be present and available when you need her as well as her ability to stand back and capture intimate moments nearly unnoticed makes her an unbelievable and unique photographer.
Their artistic eyes, sense of humor and willingness to go the extra mile made both Amber and Christina an absolute pleasure to work with.

If you’re one of the people who’s not photogenic, like me, husband who thinks he’s smiling when he’s really not, or have fussy baby/​active kids, then Amber is one for you. She works her magic to capture perfect memories for you. No need to pose and sit still no longer than 5 seconds or just have fun. Amber will guide you through anything but most important, she’ll want you to be comfortable with yourselves and enjoy the day. Not only she is wonder photographer, she is flexible and want you to have the best of the best. Our photo shoot was taken outdoor and we faced weather crisis. Finally we got our day and they came out beautiful.

We just got our family portraits done and I have to say that we are truly happy in our decision. Amber is an amazing photographer! We love that Amber is personable and took some amazing picture of our 2 year old! I recommend this photographer for family portraits or weddings!

Getting a video was one of the best and most worthwhile decisions my wife and I made regarding our wedding. I know most people consider it one more additional cost and think having photos will be enough to remember the most important and best day of their life, but those people are making a big mistake or they highly regret their decision once they see the level of high quality video Alan Silva and his team are able to produce.
My wife saw a video by Alan at another friend’s wedding and immediately she decided we had to hire him. After I saw the same video and spent countless hours, almost 50, watching other wedding videographers in California and all over the US I knew Silva Stills and Cinema needed to be our videographer also.
On top of the basic video package we also ordered a Same Day Edit (SDE) which meant the night of our wedding, before the party was over, Alan had a five minute highly produced video from earlier that day he was able to show us and our guests. Way better then a lame powerpoint photo slideshow like most people do at their wedding.

We got tons of compliments on our video and it was a great way to relive our wedding day which was flying by. Another bonus of ordering the SDE was we we able to have that video the very next day and could show it to our friends and family who weren’t able to attend our wedding. We didn’t have to wait a few months for a finished product.
I can honestly say we love our SDE. And after I posted the video on my Facebook I can’t tell you how many people wrote things like, «This is an amazing wedding video!» or «That made me cry,» basically tons of compliments.
Alan and his team were great. It was a large team so they were able to capture a lot, but it never felt like they were in the way. Alan’s creativity and artistic eye are amazing and worth every penny.
Again, I can’t reiterate how happy we were with our wedding video. If you don’t have the budget, make a budget, and if you are getting a videographer, you should get the best and that is Alan Silva.

Where do I begin with this amazingly awesome crew?! I am soooooooo happy with the decision to hire Silva stills and Cinema to video our 16 April 2011 wedding in Sonoma, CA. It was one of the best decisions my Husband and I made.
When I first met Alan, he was so awesome asking questions about our wedding theme/​planning and songs we will like to hear! He loved the fact that my husband plays the guiter and was looking for ways to include that in the video of the day. He was more excited than I was about the details and I love that about all of my vendors!
To top it off on the day of our wedding I believe Alan and crew got there before 5am because he wanted to get a shot of the sun rising! Keep in mind him and his crew were scheduled to get there at 2:30pm! Talk about dedication! I cannot begin to thank Alan and his crew enough.
Through out the day Silva stills crew were poised and professional. They worked very well with the photographer and the makeup artists to make sure they capture the most perfect parts or our amazing day. My Husband and I were relaxed around them and that is very hard to do with my Husband since he doesn’t like being the center of attention.
During the reception, they showed the Same Day Edit and I cried because it was perfect and it captured the day perfectly. My husband was at awe and was very happy that we hired Silva Stills and Cinema for our wedding. See getting a videographer was one of those things that we disagreed on during the wedding planning process. I am glad I won this disagreement because he said it was one of the best decisions we made among others. Wooooohoooooo! If you are looking for someone who has eye for style, awesome, and artistic look no further than Silva stills and cinema!
Again Alan and Crew, thanks you for making our day even more perfect and giving us something that we can always look back on with fond memories for a lifetime. We look forward to hanging out with you next time we are in California.

If you are looking for a set of amazing photographers, your search should be over! Amber and Alan are not only professional and divinely creative, but they are such a fun and sweet couple to work with.
I was looking for a photographer for my wedding, and was recommended to them previously under the name «Artistic Imagery.» From the second I walked through their door and saw their work, I was hooked. It was immediately clear that they knew how to get the shot without it feeling posed and forced. Unlike other photographers I interviewed they didn’t need to rely on overly developed, overdone computer tricks, they rely on their skills.
We hired them to do our engagement session, love story, wedding day photography and photobooth. We were supremely pleased with every picture and video they shoot. Alan’s love story movie was a blast to shoot and is also one of the highlights of the day for us and for our guests. Everything was perfect!
These two are not only amazing photographers/​videographers, but they truly are great people!

You want to make sure to catch the perfect moments: the bride getting the final touches to her hair and dress by all her bridesmaids, the groom (hey that’s me) giving props to all of his boys and acting a fool, capturing those tearful moments when everyone catches a glimpse of the bride for the first time walking down the aisle, getting that first kiss for the first time as a married couple, and of course all the candid shots during the reception… well you better get this dynamic duo! Alan and Amber are off the freakin’ hook!!! I could go on for days talking about the great work they did for me and my wifey’s wedding. They are worth every penny.
So I actually got to do the research and planning for the photography/​videography for the wedding (I know! I actually got to do something for the wedding… hahahahaaa) and found them through one of the bridal shows that I got taken to. Well after meeting up and talking with at least 4 or 5 or so photographers, they were the best ones. I just felt a great vibe right away from their great personalities and professionalism. Not only that, their photos from other weddings really impressed me too. It was definitely a plus too that they did photography and videography.
So the pictures Amber and the crew took all around: the e-​session (which by the way thanks again Amber for going out of the way and driving to Lake Tahoe to take those pics), the ceremony, and the reception, were all freakin’ great. They really captured our crazy personality and took some great artistic photos all around downtown Sac (the Tower Bridge, the Capitol, the Light Rail, and others in Old Sac). They just knew how to utilize the walls and any backgrounds around us to give it the perfect touch.
I haven’t seen the full video of the wedding yet (still being edited), but I’ve seen the montage that Alan has finished up and was impressed. Alan got all the best parts from the wedding and also picked a perfect track for the background music. That guy always knows what songs to play for the videos. Oh and Alan also did a little :30 shot-​by-​shot animation clip (which I’m pretty sure took hours to make) with our rings which is so cool to watch. Where do you come up with these ideas??? He also made our slideshow that we played during the reception which everyone there really liked. I could not stop watching it myself because it was so cool. Check it out if you have a chance
