History

Established in 1998.

I opened my own practice in 1998. Prior to that I worked for a couple of law firms. At that time, I did both bankruptcy law and criminal defense. Towards the end of the 2000’s, I decided to focus primarily on bankruptcy law and quit taking on criminal cases. In 2013 I received my real estate brokers license, so I can now assist my bankruptcy clients if they need to sell their home, either by way of short sale or a traditional sale. I find that doing a combination of bankruptcy law and real estate sales is a very rewarding combination.

I have been a practicing attorney since 1995. I have been a sole practitioner since 1998 as the Law Office of Lisa K. McKee. I consult with, prepare the paperwork for and go to court with each and every one of my clients, I literally handle every case from beginning to end. I get to know my clients on a personal level and, therefore, understand the intricacies of their particular case. My clients feel comfortable in knowing that they can call and speak with me directly or will receive a call back within a couple of hours. I am not a mill! I have worked for the larger firms and I truly believe working one on one with my clients is the way to go, for both the client and myself.

Since receiving my real estate brokers license in 2013, I have handled many short sales and traditional sales for my bankruptcy clients.

Finally, I have been an A+ Rated member of the BBB since 2001.
