Trevor Carson, of Carson & Kyung, mislead me, sent my elderly parents a fraudulent bill for $ 15,000 and then left me without legal representation at a very critical stage in my case. He may be great immigration attorney but they way he handled my personal injury case left me with no doubts about his civil tort abilities and left me questioning his professionalism, his integrity and his ethics. During our initial meeting he assured me that he could handle my case. He informed me that his firm had 3 attorneys, 3 paralegals and significant experience handling cases like mine. However, this was not even close to the truth. He and his firm of only 2 attorneys and 0 paralegals, had zero experience with cases similar to mine. The reason he accepted my case was because my case was very strong. I had handled the criminal case by myself and won. That is an indication of just how strong my civil case was. Trevor saw an easy case that could earn him millions of dollars in fees. Far more than he had ever earned or ever would earn. He thought he could just let the strength of my case do all the work for him. He never expected to run into the defendant’s very experienced team of attorneys. When he did they ran right over him. But instead of just admitting he was in over his head he tried to ride it out. He knew my case was so strong that the defendant could not go to trial on this matter. However, it didn’t take long for the defendant’s attorneys to figure out that Trevor was in way over his head. Once that happened Trevor began to look for a way out. Before exiting he sent my elderly parents a $ 15,000 bill related to an hourly contract that had been replaced by a much more lucrative contingency contract. I learned about this bill just in time to stop my parents from paying it. Shortly after this incident Trevor filed a motion to be relieved as counsel. He filed the motion with the court. However, despite the proof of service he filed with it he never served me with a copy of his motion. The motion was granted without any response from me and without me at the hearing. Trevor quietly slipped out of sight. He never resent the $ 15,000 bill or a bill of any kind for the time he spent on my case while under the hourly fee agreement, even though about 75% of the time he spent on my case was under that agreement. Trevor simply walked away from my case as if it never happened. In doing so he has left me with the real possibility of losing my case. He may be a good immigration attorney. He may be a good bankruptcy attorney. However, they way he handled my case doesn’t just make him a bad civil tort attorney. It brings in to question his integrity his ethics and a whole lot more. I think it is only fair for me to note that my story stems from my interactions and dealings with Trevor Carson only. I dealt with TREVOR almost exclusively. My few encounters with Peter were good. I found Peter to be intelligent and professional. I do not know to what extent he was aware of Trevor’s behavior or actions relating to my case. He may not have been aware at all. I Blame Trevor and Trevor alone for they way my case was handled by Carson & Kyung.

As a small business owner faced with an ex-​business partnership gone wrong, these lawyers helped me by listening, and giving me feedback in layman’s terms I could understand. I arrived a little bit early expecting to wait a bit in a waiting room, because who doesn’t end up waiting even if you are on time. But that was not the case here, I was promptly greeted by Trevor as soon as i arrived and treated like I was their only client.
