I also came for the Stammish. They seemed overwhelmed without group. it took at least 30 minutes before they took my order. The refried beans were just the way I like them, but the chicken inside of the Enchilada was burnt to a crisp. I didn’t eat but a couple of bites at the restaurant as I want feeling well and thought that was the reason I didn’t want to eat. But when I opened it up at home I noticed. I understand sometimes, when your busy things can get a little overdone, but this was truly BURNT. I love to support local businesses, but I’ll have to think about this before I decide to give them a second chance. $ 11.25 is a lot of money on my retirement. Also the menu was confussing and no prices on the Margaritas. $ 7.50 for a very small drink.

We came here for a neighborhood get together and they were able to accommodate our fairly large group. Even though there was some miscommunication when I made the reservation, they did anexcellent job of making us comfortable, taking orders etc. They were also willing to split the checks by table. Serving a large Group that comes in separately is always a challenge, and I would give them five stars for that. Others in our group we’re delighted with their meal . We ordered enchiladas and Beef fajitas. The sauce on the enchilada and the cheese really overpowered the whole thing, the refried beans were extremely oily, and in contrast the rice was extremely dry. The fajitas came with the same sides. The beef was cut very thin and was also very dry and bland. For us the food was missing seasoning . I must mention that I grew up with an excellent Mexican cook, so maybe I am a little spoiled. I also don’t recall them serving the food on these platters the past, it makes me feel like I was eating airplane food.

Our community held a Stammtisch dinner here tonight, and La Rosa Blanca was amazing! The food was splendid(the mole is so good, perfectly spicy and chocolatey) the owners were gracious, and our friendships deepened! Very, very good!

My daughter and I came here tonight to join a neighborhood get together. The staff was super nice and very attentive. I ordered a half order of nachos and she had the kids quesadilla meal. We both left full and happy. If you haven’t been here before, I definitely think it’s a great place to try!

A few dozen of us from the Arden area met at La Rosa Blanca this evening for our monthly Stammtish(informal friendly gathering for a meal and chatting with neighbors). From start to finish, the friendly staff at La Rosa Blanco did an excellent job serving up delicous mexican dishes for our large group. The staff graciously accommodated our group in a large room set apart from the main dining area. As our group trickled in, the staff made several rounds to make sure drink orders, chips, and salsa were fully stocked at each table. I also appreciated how the staff gave ample time for everyone to arrive and for neighbors to meet and chat before taking the orders. This helped ensure most folks got served about the same time(even the handful of late-comers). I ordered the half order of Nachos with carnitas, and my wife ordered the enchiladas verdi. Not only were the portions generous, but everything was delicous! The nachos were especially tasty since there were fantastic carnitas weaved into numerous layers of chips. At the end of the meal, our waitress also took the time to split the check for eveyone! Given the size of the group, I fully expected to have to cipher everyone’s share, but our server said it was no trouble at all. I really appreciate her going the extra mile after serving our group for more than 2.5 hours! The food is very reasonably priced for the portion sizes and quality, so we made sure to show our waitress our appreciation when the final bill came. Good Mexican food in Arden is not hard to find. Last Rosa Blanca has made the decision on which Mexican place to go to that much harder! We will definitely be working LA Rosa Blanca into our Mexican restaurant rotation!

We went there Friday night 1−291−16 for the first time and walked in to hear this wonderful little 3 piece band place great music. They seated us at a time right next to the band and we ordered Margaritas — one blended and one not. They brought chips and they were good(a little too crisp and hard for me) with a watery salsa but it was still good. The drinks had a good amount of tequila and were great. We ordered a mole chicken enchilada dinner and a mama’s chicken special dinner and they were both out of this world delicious. We also ordered the sopadilla for dessert and ordered an extra(they come two to an ordered) to go and brought them to a friends house — yum!!! light delicious cinnamon and sugar and lots of honey. We will be going again. The decorations are old fashioned and the restaurant is small but great food.

Not impressed with this restaurant what so ever. I decided to try this out after months of eyeing it, but boy did I regret it. Considering I came here on New Years Day, I was looking to cure a hangover haha. Well I couldn’t since they had ran out Clamato and thus couldn’t make a michelada… womp womp. Their chips and salsa were good. I ordered their street tacos, they was disappointing. Their carne asada tasted like it had been friend in butter… not real meat flavor. The server was really nice. I definitely wont be coming here again.

No gracias! First and foremost the food is very expensive for what you are getting. It felt like this whole place was designed to make mexican food for white people who don’t like flavor. Food was bland, service was slow, and too expensive for what you are getting. If you like your mexican food with out spice and to all taste the same than this place is for you. If you want some spice and flavor you will need to look somewhere else.

Yummy comfort food. Huge portions. Great hangover food. A great place for cheesy dietary debauchery, but not for picky eaters. A large quantity of the incredients appear to be either frozen or canned, but for the price point, who’s complaining? This is not a place for people with allergies or who are worried about specific ingredients. As a semi-vegan I will order the guacamole, but it will often come with a «garnish» of cheese on it. Not sure what that’s all about. The star of the show is their margarita pitchers. Bring three friends and split one! There is often a mariachi band playing, which makes the whole place fun! Bring cash to tip.

This is my first time visiting this place, must say I am pretty pleased with my visit. Inside is very homey feeling, the waiter was a very nice guy who instructed us to seat where we would like. We were given chips and salsa ! The salsa was great. The food was even better ! I got the chicken chimichanga on the lunch special and my husband got the beef platter. Defiantly recommend it !

Wow! The service is so slow! The food was OK at best. My dish tasted like it was frozen and then heated up. The prices were decent, but that was its only saving grace.

Ummmm what can I say about this hidden gem. Moving from the Bay Area out to Sac, it’s been so hard to find a quality Mexican restaurant. Look no further La Rosa is it! When we first walked in we were greeted by Patty who is the manager and owner I’m assuming. She is just the sweetest person! She was very friendly and she made sure to check in with us even though they were quite busy and full. Then we had Alex as our waiter. He was amazing!!! Wonderful personality and cones to find out he’s Patty son. Which is no surprise, the whole staff was great and the food. TODIEFOR!!! I had the 3 asada tacos, and coming from a big taco head this is now my new favorite restaurant! The meat was absolutely mouth watering and the fish tacos… Omgoodness! BOMB! OKTHATSALL. IFYOUHAVE A CHANCEGOTOLAROSA YOu WONTBEDISAPPOINTED.

Ok so I took my Mom and Dad for lunch the other day and WOW the food was amazing. My dad is 76 and has eaten at thousands of Mexican Restaurants in his life time and said this has to be one of the BEST ones. He had the chicken chimichanga and so did my mom. Both of them could not stop talking about how good they were. I had the Prawn Tacos and the are the BOMB!!! The shrimp is marinated in a sweet and tangy sauce and ever thing is so fresh. Oh you have to try the guacamole too it is really good.

This is an amazing restaurant !!! The tamales are delicious !!! The enchiladas are delicious !!! The enchilada sauce is OUTSTANDING !!! I enjoyed my meal thoroughly and the service was amazing !!! The only problem was the location its in the middle of this gross car dealer section of Fulton Avenue so that brings down the ambiance a little … Just a little I recommend this restaraunt highly !!!

I came here on a recommendation and I shall not be listening to them again! While I have had worse Mexican food, it doesn’t mean all that much. This food lacks FLAVOR. The best thing I can say is that it was edible. While the food was disappointing, the margaritas were disgusting. They were made from a crappy mix and a tequila that could barely be distinguished, if at all.

You know what really sucks is that, I really want to give them five stars but my the only reason I can’t is because of the location… it’s not that it isn’t safe, or easy to find, or even that there was any trouble finding parking. It had all that. I just feel disenchanted that this beautiful little restaurant, that feels like an oasis, is stuck on such an ugly stretch of Fulton Avenue. When I’m inside this place, I could pretend maybe for one second that I wasn’t in hot Sacramento. No, perhaps I am back in Mexico, where the Mexico I remember still lies. There’s a cool breeze, the mountains to see in the distance, the people and customs so beautiful and inviting. And like Mexico this restaurant had all the amenities I love in a good restaurant. Yummy food? Check. Ambience? Check-a-roo(great music and fun décor) Nice Service? Most definitely!!! Drinks delivered right away, server was super attentive, and the food was great!!! I guess it just makes me miss Mexico so much, that when I look out that window I’m expecting to see something that reminds me of it. Besides the palm trees that tag along the side of the parking lot, it’s a black slab area as far as the eye can see. I feel sad that our cities are asphalt jungles and not much outside ascetically to look at. La Casa Blanca I should be thanking you for being a bright spot on a less than pretty stretch of road. But all I can say is, your smiles and service helped put a smile back on my face that day. Thank you!

This is a 3.5-er! I’m torn but have to be honest. I went to lunch with a friend. It was pretty packed so I took that as a good sign! The menus and waters came quickly but there seemed to be only one server for the whole restaurant. That would explain why it took quite some time for our/the server to come over and take our order. I ordered the chicken enchiladas. They were decent, my favorite part being the nicely balanced and tasty enchilada sauce. The rice was just ok, as it was slightly dried out but the enchilada sauce did add some oomph! Ideally, the food speaks for itself. My friend ordered the steak/beef fajitas. I won’t lie, they were pretty disappointing. The meat was chewy and fairly tough. They also came with three tiny tortillas which seemed a little insufficient. I will say they were quick to bring more tortillas so that was nice! I had high hopes but it just didn’t deliver. Maybe they were understaffed and I dislike a less than awesome first impression but I do strongly feel that a 3.5 is an accurate assessment. With that said, I’d like to think it was an off day for them! I hope I’m right, I return & my mind is blown with deliciousness! Fingers crossed!
