This place is quite hidden, but it’s a must for calamari. The Calamari will not disappoint I promise that! It comes with a thick sweet soy sauce you pour in the calamari. However, the price is quite high buuuuuut give it a try. Their prices overall are crazy high. Tried the bulgogi once and it’s yummerz but $ 35 for a plate of it! Might as well go to oz to eat a variety of Korean bbq! Also tried jimpow(not too sure about the spelling) it’s a spicy soup with noodles and squid +1 mussel &2 shrimps –____– not worth $ 14 at all! My wallet cries when I stop by here. I honestly just go for the calamari.

7 of us went in for a birthday celebration. We were sat right away. The waitress brought us our drinks right away. We looked over the menu, she then took our order. We order 3 full orders of meat. Two chicken and one beef. We got the sides first, when we asked for more she told us «You eat this first, I’ll bring out more later.» I’m sorry but if I’m ordering 3 different full orders of meat then we should have 3 different orders of the sides. All 7 of us love kimchi and we all have to split one little bowl? Being the only party in the building there was no reason why we needed to asked multiple times for an extra plate or a fork. She started cooking the food but walked away yet again. I had to finish cooking the food. She was too busy talking to another person out side. One of our friends ended up getting napkins, a plate and some forks. We asked her to split the bill before we ordered. Then we got the bill it was $ 185. Said she couldn’t split it. Well if you can’t split the bill then it needs to be itemized so I can see each individual charge. Was it? NOPE it was written in Korean(I believe) I’m almost positive she added about a $ 30 tip, which she most definitely DIDNOT deserve. Food wasn’t too bad. But I’ll definitely go right on over to Oz.

Tall about a hidden gem. This place is amazing. first off when you walk in the ambiance is very nice. Their décor is so cool. Very authentic looking. Then the food is amazing. If you come I definitely recommend the BBQ pork. I don’t usually eat pork. I actually ordered the Mongolian beef(equally as good) I tried some of the pork off my moms plate and instantly wished I had ordered it. It was perfectly cooked. They bring out three kimchi vegetables dishes which are really good too. So glad I came here. I’ll definitely be back!

I srsly love this place and the food! I really like the male waiter that served us, he was very polite! The food might be a bit pricey but is all worth it since they serve in such a big portion along with many side dishes! The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because this place is hidden & might be difficult to find lol. Other than that, I can’t wait to go back for their delicious jajiangmeyon & bibimbap!

This place is hidden from the Main Street so driving by you probably wouldn’t even know this place existed! I came here on a Thursday night with my boyfriend, it wasn’t busy at all. When we first walked in we were seated right away. However the server didn’t seem too inviting. She wasn’t smiling and seemed like she didn’t want to be there. The only thing I really like about this place are their side dishes! OMMMMMG so much variety I was in love. They were really good! The bulgogi and Mongolian beef was pretty good, I thought it was really flavorful BUT kind of pricey tbh. Overall, I’d give this place a 4 star but the service was ehh. Not a big deal though, the food made up for it.

This place is underrated. Although they don’t have daikon(i’m not sure if the white cubes are daikon) on their banchan, I love how they have the zucchini and the white cube thing! I looove their bulgogi. It’s enough for a party of 2! We only ordered that because we don’t eat much. Thank God we did because it was a little more than what we expected. The banchan also made us full. I love that they have rice included in the meal too! I would prefer this place than the korean bbq down the street. My stomach can’t really justify AYCE, but this place is perfect. We’ll def be back!

We got the bulgogi and it was really good. The side dishes half I liked and half was flavorless. I would come back again if I didn’t have a big appetite. Otherwise I’d go to a place where it’s AYCE.

HORRIBLE service! Went there for the first time tonight, food was good but the waitress was so rude. She also charged us twice for a dish and gave US an attitude about it!

The two stars are for the food. Not bad. However… 1. We were sat at a very greasy filthy table. 2. We got no water after asking for it repeatedly. 3. Side dishes started coming out and no plates, no silverware, or napkins. 4. Meat was put on the BBQ skillet(at the table). The person was clearly running the entire restaurant as she left numerous times while our meat was cooking. In the end I was left to cook the meat myself… or at least man the skillet… which was pretty much the rest of the cook time. 5. Bill time. $ 18X. XX which seemed a little high, but we didn’t question it. At first. We split the bill. One party party paid $ 100 cash, we paid the rest on a card. 6. I asked for an itemized bill. She wrote it up. Took it back to the table… for further analysis. Added up, it came to $ 147.XX. 7. When asked, she stated they include tip in the total. Really? When I left, I told her my opinion of this. She almost got double tip due to this. I asked her if she felt she had provided $ 30 in service. She did not have a response as she knew that she had not. We did not ask for any $ off, and I told her the food was good, just didn’t appreciate the stealthful tipping, especially since the service was horrible. Wonder how many times they get double tipped? Loved the food, but probably not going back due to service.

I’ve been going to this location since I was in high school(10years+). I always gone with my gf’s(now my wife) parents. Maybe 15 times to date. Good for party of 2+. Food: The food is very good and served with side dishes(panchan) as appetizers. They are very consistent, serving good food with fresh ingredients. The menu is a good variety from dolsot bibimpop to spicy Jjigae. I got the pork tofu Jjigae, delicious. Explore the menu, all is good. Service: The service is prompt and as expected. Consistent. Nothing flashy, pretty traditional, polite servers always. Great for a family of 8 or party of 2 or 3. Environment: It’s a small place with approx 10 tables but not tight fitting at all, it’s comfortable. It has a nice relaxed and clean feel. Traditional look. It’s quaint feeling and w/medium lighting. Thanks Korea house for your years of comsistant good service and food. No changes needed for me. You just got Unilocal’d baby! Joe Ras

This location is in a hidden corner next to the Karaōke on Folsom Blvd in Sacramento. This place is horrible it took us about 5 mins to be seated there was no one at the cashier area. It was not busy at all for a Friday night. The food is flavorless and expensive. Paid $ 60 for three items. The meat bulgogi(sp?) was sizzling hot when the food came out but taste flavorless compared to other Korean restaurant in the area. The tofu soup was water down with lots of tofu. No refill on water until my friend got up to ask them.

Overall, I actually did like this place. I thought the food was pretty tasty. As for the side dishes, it wasn’t as much as I would like though. I like the seafood pancake I got. I thought the pork kimchee soup was good as well. The bulgogi was okay though, it had good flavor but my dad thought it was on the saltier side. The waitress seemed to be pretty busy though. If there’s too many tables, then it can be difficult for her to service everyone. She’s definitely nice though.

We came for my Hubby’s birthday. He wanted some Korean BBQ. So we had our 3 kids and we asked to be sat in a grill table. There are two burners on the table and they put big cast iron flat pans so you can cook your meat right in front of you. We ordered the combo so like chicken/pork/beef along with unlimited sides of pickled veggies, and various other interesting items. I dont know if I was just sitting too close to the burner but I got smoked out and I felt greasy by the time we left. The food was good, interesting experience. Bathrooms were only so-so. They had Korean soap operas playing on tv. The location is kinda shady, I felt a little nervous about parking my car! So, all-in-all, decent meal. I’m sure my Hubby will want to go again. I personally could take it or leave it.

The go-to place for birthdays, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day… you get the picture. The Dinner Boxes are huge portions, three of us typically share two boxes(#2 and #6) which include Galbi(Short ribs), Mixed Tempura, Tuna Sashimi, Fried Calamari, Gyoza. If you’re a meat lover then get the one with Chicken, Bulgogi, and Galbi! If you want more veggies then the Bibimbap is the way to go. Seriously though, with rice and banchan and drinks, this will fill you up. I’ve never seen this place get super crowded, or loud, which is perfect. There are grill tables if you want to cook yourself. Typically go for lunch or dinner, they also have soju and are just a few doors down from Rurulala Karaōke! There are days when AYCE cravings call for Oz, and I know there are a few other Korean restaurants along Folsom Blvd(Pine Tree, YD House, etc.) BUT this little spot is worth a trip. The food is delicious, service depends on who the waiter/waitress is that day.

lets see where do i start… well i have been a fan of this place when i was like maybe 12. it was in the early 90s. yes this place was one of the few places who served some bomb, k food. we would use to come here for b day celebrations. we would sit in those grill it yourself bbq grills. we would each time spend about 200 bucks on some good marinated meat. we always like the bone in rancho galbi, chicken, and spicy pork. we use to get a lot of them side dishes what we call banchans. the banchans were awesome! they have some amazing veggies in the banchan which is all marinated or spicy or non spicy to it. i remember they would also give us complimentary cold spicy crab as well. those are soo good and addicting and spicy too. i do like cold pickled cucumber which is spicy and i love that crunchy texture. i also like the sweet and sour daikons with carrots. also the kimchi here is good too but sometimes i do find it a bit too salty. the fish cakes are always on point from here. their banchans are always good and sometimes i have to ask for seconds. the meat were of course good quality but it was definitely pricy! it was worth it though because we didn’t know how to marinate the sauce and it wouldn’t come out the same when we did it ourself. now days there are so many other korean restaurants to choose from we don’t come here as often no more. we only do the grill your own meat once in a while compared to before. i do like coming here for their lunch special bento boxes. i also like their daily specials bento boxes as well. i think my favorite is the friday one. it has fried fish or sashimi with calamari. lets talk about that calamari dish, its amazing! the calamari is light battered and deep fried til its crisp all around. i do like the sauce which goes with it. its sweet and spicy sauce which is all mixed in and sometimes i request it on the side as well so the calamari can stay crisp longer. i sometimes just get the whole order because its worth every penny for it. i also like coming here and getting their spicy seafood noodle soup. i like how they serve it in a good size portion. i also like how they use buckwheat noodles in it. i also like their awesome variety of seafood in it as well. it contains clams, mussels, shrimp, squid, and lots of veggies in it. i always ask for extra spicy since i love my food hot and spicy. sometimes the portion is big i can’t even finish it and take it home and add some more veggies to it and make it another meal. yes the service here is still slow. most times i have to flag for more water, or boxes, and sometimes they don’t check up on us too. i always tend to see lots tables unclean after a customer leave because maybe short of staff. also slippery and wet bathroom floors too. i do like how they did a remodel in here which is better. at the end of the day the place still give me the childhood memories of all the holiday celebrations i had here and it still looks almost the same. overall i am a fan of this place for their food. i know they are sometimes slow for making the food so i do call ahead of time and try to get there and the food is all ready set up on the table. thanks for reading and have a good day.

Coming to this place never surprises me. The customer service there is the worst, depending on who is working. They are just so damn rude. It’s best to be there when the guy works. There was no one in the restaurant but me and my husband and we did not even get good service. That is how bad it is there. The food is good. I rarely go to this place unless I want something that only this place makes. This place really needs to work on the customer service or take a class for customer.

I’ve only been here a few times and I think it’s s decent place. Clean and quaint. It’s a little older fashion looking or needs a little upgrade in décor/seating/tables. Customer service: fast and efficient. Good about everything except straws, I’ve had to ask 2x on 2 different visits. Food/price: I always get the spicy pork lunch box. The potatoes are good. You get a small(it’s almost like a pinch of cabbage. Lol) for the salad and good amount of meat and rice. It’s about average pricing for Korean food. I think it’s 8 – 10 bucks give or take. However they only give you 3 sides. And it’s ok, it was all kimchi flavored daikon, cucumbers, and kimchi lettuce. I do like their seafood pancake. Don’t bother with the kimchi pancake. Cheaper but the taste is not comparable. Potstickers were not bad either. Lots of meat in it! But I personally liked it to have been pan fried just a little longer for a more crunchy/crisp outside and soft yumminess on the inside. I would come back because the food and price is decent and I get in an out really fast for lunch rush.

Nothing special i was in the area was hungry stopped in had lunch. A friend told me bout this place i would of never knew it was here since its in the back coner of the lil strip. I had the bbq beef that shit was tougher than shoe leather, the kimchee and cucumber was koo. It sucked that the beef was dry and tough i ordered a side of teriyaki sauce. I know i just ordered the lunch it wasnt nothing special at all i normally try and give a spot a second chance but im a pass on this one, thats how disappointed i was. Maybe diner might be better but i wont try finding out.

This place is expensive if you want to grill the meat yourself. The Galbi was 50 $, my cousin and I was thinking, man lets just grill it ourselves and it better be some damn good Galbi! Cute little korean place. Seems authentic. Someone seated us right away, but my cousin and I wanted to grill it ourselves. He looked a little confused but said ok, we were later told that people with a bigger group usually sits at the grill, but since it wasn’t busy, he said it was ok if we sat at the grill. Ok thank you. He let us know that yes the Galbi was expensive but they use the best quality and that we could order the other ones in half orders. We ordered Galbi, half order of bulgogi, and a half order of shrimp. In the beginning our server was super helpful, he brought out our drinks, out side dishes came out, rice, the works, it wAs great. He even grilled our meats for us in the beginning. Galbi was good, bulgogi was good, shrimp wAs ok. Honestly for the price, i would rather go to oz. Because for cheaper and all you can eat I could have a lot more and I think the food is really good. But Korea house was a nice change. What ruined our experience though, was after our meats came out, our server was no where to be found, he never came back, when he finally did come back it took him 15 mins to get our drinks refilled. It wasn’t even busy, I’m a server myself so I know this. After that he still didn’t come back and we were just sitting there, doing nothing and he still didn’t notice to come back and drop off the check. No other server even came by. I got up myself and asked for a box and check, we still tipped him well. Smh. Would I come back, maybe not since oz is down the street and the service didn’t make us want to come back. If he stayed consistent from the beginning to the end, id come back. Because great service and food even though it is expensive of come back. Keep in mind because I am a server I have a lot of patience, but our wait in the end was unnecessary.
