This team is great! Very friendly and helpful– Angelo helped me figure out my best options and even skipped multiple meals to make sure I was taken care of! The girl at the front desk was friendly and chatted with us while we waited, and everyone there offered to help in some way to keep us comfortable as their Comcast service was making their lives difficult at the time lol… Angelo excused himself for a moment to greet and check on a previous customer of his– and that was totally fine with me. I would love to get that kind of treatment if/​when I return for any reason. My advice for anyone concerned over the negative reviews– COME HERE WITH REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS. Do your research in advance if it helps– if for no other reason, to know which questions to ask. At the end of the day I walked away with a beautiful car– the exact model and features I had been searching all over for, in excellent condition at a low price and with fair financing that I had basically anticipated. Go to Kareem’s, see Angelo, and get the car you want on totally fair terms. Their selection is superb and their staff is awesome. I keep their business card on me in case anyone asks where I got my car– even though it also has their fancy license plate frame on it lol.
PS– be sure to call in advance regarding any specific car you want from their lot! They will definitely hold it for you but be specific on make/​model/​mileage– even VIN if necessary as they make that info available online. I submitted a «make a deal» and it may have been my service or something I did wrong but it didn’t go through– they confirmed on the phone though and held the car for me when I spoke to them directly, so definitely call!

They are bullshit, all of their cars are from other states to sell in CA. All the cars are cheaper from other states and they cost extra money here. I do not recommend it at all, they don’t followed up with you after they sell you the car, they don’t want to listen to you. .
Check the VIN number and carfax before you make a deal with them. They are all bad, and they just want to get our money for cars from other states witch is cheaper than ca. Thx god i desolved my problem with them through BAR

I bought a 2007 Honda Accord from Kareem auto on Fulton ave in Sacramento. I drove the car and after 2 – 3 days the engine light came on and the car was having some problems, so i took it back to Kareem Autos and they said they would fix the car. They kept the car for 3 – 4 hours and after they told me they fixed it and it should not be a problem, i started experiencing the same problem the next day. So i had to take it to a different mechanic and had to pay $ 1,800.00 to get the car fixed. Bad experience buying a car from them.

«Car has been sold…» or bait and switch?
Traveled from city of Folsom to Fulton Avenue, only to be told that «car has been sold.» More than 12 hours after our visit, the ad still appears on
(and the ad has been up for three days). Seems like they just want to get potential buyers on the car lot — feels like bait and switch depending on their inventory.
I won’t be back!

From the Sales person to the Finance person — Kareem’s Auto was easy to work with. There was no pressure to purchase. Kareem’s Auto Sales is a great place to buy a car, no pressure sales people. Very Friendly and they even bought us lunch when we did buy our vehicle.

Buying a car is stressful … that fact holds true in every single car buying experience I have ever had in my 40 years as a driver … until I saw that little black convertible at Kareem’s and met Angelo! He was energetic & terrific helping us, the car was immaculate, the financing was a breeze! Went in today to look at a few suvs… what a joke. They have what appears to be a good selection. How ever you can’t even test drive anything unless you fill out a credit app… wtf is that about. So upon hearing that I shut the door on the suv I wanted to possible buy and it sounded like the window regulator was about to fall out. MIKE the sales man was a joke. my wife an i had been looking for a newer Pilot not a Brand new but semi new Pilot, we looked everywhere in Northern Cali an couldn’t find anything we liked we also looked in Southern Cali an there to much plus i needed to drive almost 300 miles to get it. My wife finally seen a white Pilot that she like at Kareem Auto Sales in Sacramento so we went to go look at it an we liked it. Ricky Lulu help us get a great low APR an we left home with it. thank you for the great service. let me just say that Ricky sure has great customer service well mannered an was well educated on car selling.

I was pre-​qualified by my bank before I stared to look at cars, This is not my first car buying experience. I have looked around meany dealerships before I went to you guys some dealerships I was ignored because I looked young and only a few where great. This was the worst. I was judged on how my wife and I looked young and because of that they did not get my business. Please stop calling me thank you
The car was 5000 over priced not the best deal at all. Some of there cars are average priced and some are way over if you what to buy a car from these guys take a look around on the net before you make your final choice. You will see there not the best deal out there.

I actually took the time to read the other Unilocal reviews about Kareem befire posting this. Pretty suprised by the negative feedback.
Mike from Kareem auto sales made buying a car a damn good experience. From my first stop at Kareem I knew vaugely what I wanted but I was open to other ideas. Some asshole rear ended my perfectly good passat and totaled it and I was still pretty soured by the experience. Mike took the initiative to show me all the VW models they had available and even listened to me piss an moan for a bit. Pretty great customer service I think.
Im not a haggler. I know what I want and I research the cost. If its too much for me I walk. Some people think that they can wheel and deal with dealers but that is not always the case. To the people that post on here complaining Kareem wouldnt drop the $$$ get real. Its a business. Its not ebay or craigslist. Its a dealership. If you think you can find it for less money elsewhere then go do that.
All the staff was really friendly. When I had my daughter with me all the workers and mechanics waved to her and said hello. Big plus for me when people are kind to my baby girl. Big plus when the sales man talks to me about my purchase and not the boyfriend.
Overall great experience. I love my car! Thank you Mike & Kareem auto sales. Sorry it took so long for me to post this. One happy Jetta owner :)

A worker from Kareem just called me, don’t know who he is howeever he sounded like a child and was very unprofessional. Threaten me because of the review I posted He said because of the review I posted a few days ago they are going to withhold my title and send me a bill for a terrible half ass tint job.
I said I would post this interaction and harassing phone call, and he said «I don’t care». So here we go it is posted. I hope they follow through so I can see them in court.

The drama at kareem goes on. And Sal your lying mouth and words including ignorantly putting in writing… your lies and threats will land you in court and sued. Because of your bad business and even worse integrity I have and will continue to let others know not to buy from you. Also this is a pattern for you, when customers write a bad review you harass and threaten them, good evidence for court (for me).
I asked you to fix the tint and complained about customer service, you called me at home and threatened me and now you are calling me thief and a lier. All I can say is I promise your big mouth will be the end of your business. So please send the mobile tint guy out to my house and remover the tint, that nobody would ever pay for and save me the cost of having it removed by professionals. I made sure professionals «Tint Pros» in Roseville are removing and replacing the tint on my vehicle. Tint Pros are a wonderful company who stands by their work; you should try that sometime Sal!
Do not continue the harassment as I am contacting the BBB and reporting you and your company. See you in court.

I bought a 2004 Accord from these guys a few months back. I went to them because they were the only used car dealer in the area with a decent Unilocal review. They do have one of the better selection of cars compared to the other used car dealers on Fulton but if you’ve been to some of the dealers on Fulton, you know that doesn’t mean much.
Let’s start with the buying experience. The salesman ran my application and gave me a payment amount. It seemed very high. He had added in a couple add-​ons in to the price without asking if I ever wanted them. One being gap insurance for a car I’m already putting more than 50% down on. Two being some BS «we etched your VIN in the windows security feature». Yeah, no thanks. Then they refused to budge on the price, being a good amount over the KBB retail amount. Of course they tell you KBB is garbage and no one uses it. After threatening to walk they gave me a meager 2% discount on the price.
Then on to the car itself. It looked clean on the outside and inside. Took it for a VERY short test drive, as is used car dealer practice, it seemed fine. The spoiler was a little loose and missing nuts, they said they were going to take care of that, they never did. There was a smudge across the windshield following the path of the wipers. I thought I would be able to clean it off, no chance, it was scratched, I had to replace the windshield. Upon taking delivery I found 3 bulbs were out, a brake light, a reverse light, and a map light. Little things that don’t cost a lot of money that would have been very easy for them to fix before a customer takes delivery, but no.
Brakes begin to squeal shortly after taking delivery, it needs brake pads. The headliner starts to droop. Fast forward a couple months, the starter motor goes out on the car leaving me stranded. Cost a good chunk of change to have it replaced. While the car is in the shop the mechanic gives me a laundry list of other things that need replacing coming to a total of over $ 3,700. After further inspection of the car I find that there are runs in the paint on the driver’s side door, evidence of a respray, mind you the CarFax was clean.
Moral of the story: Don’t be in a rush when buying a used car and have a mechanic check it out.

I purchased a car from them back in 2012. I was pregnant at the time so we were looking for a newer reliable car. They were so warm, welcoming, and not pushy at all! I left with exactly what I saw online and the car has been great since!
Shortly after my sister was looking for a car and we recommended Kareem, she had been searching everywhere and no luck. She finally went to Kareem and ended up leaving with a car that she loved!
My husband has been sticking it out with his old Honda Accord for some time now. it gave out on him once again last friday and that was the last straw. He needed to get a new reliable car. So we decided to do some car shopping online. We always check Kareem first because we’ve always trusted them and knew they have a huge inventory, so we knew they would have something and they did! Although, we found another car we were interested in elsewhere. We went to go check out the car and the salesmen was very pushy and we weren’t having that at all.
Sure enough! We went to Kareem to check out the car we liked. We’re always immediately greeted and they always remember exactly who we are! Love that! We went to check out the car and my hubby fell in LOVE! The car runs GREAT, low miles, great price, fully loaded with navi! Mike handled our whole entire transaction and was great through it all!
WE ALWAYS HAVE & ALWAYS WILL RECOMMEND EVERYONE TO KAREEM!

If you ever go to Kareem, ask for Mike! He is SUPER informative, patient, and not pushy at all! Really cool guy all around!

I have to say that they have nice inventory. They have friendly staff. I did not purchase a car, here is why. The lot is crowded. You have to park by a bunch of grimy and broken down cars in the back lot. Comfortable navigating the lot and looking around cars can be a chore. The staff has to pull each car out to get a proper look at it.
Their pricing starts below market value in most cases which is great. I am concerned with the kind of cars they buy. They tend to have modified cars and cars with adverse cafax history. Lots of cars that are out of state cars, lots of accidents reported, and a Pontiac GTO that had ILLEGAL smog headers installed despited it going through smog and safety. No CARB sticker was in plain sight. Whomever purchased that car is facing serious repair costs to make the car smog legal the next time around. It would be difficult to prove that the dealership sold the car that way.
If you buy here, have the car looked at by a mechanic and have the body work inspected. Check for rust. They are ok cars to buy but some are less than desirable. I can’t speak to the buying experience because I will not buy a car from them.

I purchased a car about two months ago and I appreciate the business at Kareem Auto Sales. I was in a difficult situation were I needed a second car for my wife and I. From the minute I contacted them, Mike and staff did everything they could to help me. In less than two weeks they made it happen. The car runs great and Ive had no problems so far. There whole staff is friendly and very cooperative. I do recommend this dealer 100% and if anything contact Mike. He was very helpful and better yet he made it happen. The process was easy and quick. I personally had a great experience with Kareem Auto Sales. I appreciate it guys, keep up the good work!
P.S They have a wide variety of cars to browse from and they are always getting new cars in.

We purchased a car a couple of months ago from Kareem Auto Sales. Do I like my car? No. I LOVE IT! The process was fairly quick and painless. I usually hate buying cars from dealerships because I feel like you are sitting across from your enemy and can’t trust anything they tell you. However, we received a full carfax on our vehicle so there were no surprises. The car runs like a charm and I love it more every day.
We stopped by here because a co-​worker recommended this dealership after she purchased a car here. Our experience was great. I would buy here again.
