History

Established in 2014.

Maurice started his first photography business in 1991 while stationed overseas. Prior to launching his photography business, Maurice trained under Master Photographers for 2 years while also taking courses from New York Institute of Photography.

He would also spend a significant amount of his free time, photographing people, places and things as he ventured out daily with his cameras and tripod.

He was compelled by the beauty that could be captured when the eye was simply trained to see and appreciate beauty at a glance.

These experiences propelled him into a professional career into the fabulous world of professional photography where his passion glows brighter and more intense with each wedding, event, or photography endeavor that he embarks on.

The Owner of Images By Maurice has Spent over 26 years enjoying photography as well as teaching photography.

The owner (Maurice) began exploring and training in photography during the days of film which required more camera skill as well as a better understanding of lighting.

In those days digital cameras did not exist, so the photographer had to know what he or she was doing behind the camera since there was no preview feature on film cameras to show you what the photo would look like at the time that it was taken.

This allowed Maurice to master the art and science of photography without the assistance of the camera or various auto camera modes that simply stifle creativity.
