I went here to get my tint done on my new Jeep Cherokee. My cousin was also going to get his tint done on his mustang, but he needed the old tint removed. The owner quoted my cousin a price that was a tad bit higher than what another shop quoted (But he explained that what you are paying for is quality of work)
Long story short, after a few days, my cousin got the mustang tinted at the other shop. Tint looked ok, but there were bubbles everywhere. So I went back to iB because I value someone who takes pride in their work. Ray quoted me a fair price that was comparable to what the other shops charged, and he explained to me about the high quality tint they used.
My car was finished in about 2 hours, and I picked it up. I’m amazed at the job they did!
I am definately going to bring my other car here next week…

Long story short, these guys are rip offs who is only after your money and doesn’t know what customer service is or how to install car radio plus headlights properly. My car radio still sounds like shit in fact, it’s useless noting functions also, my headlights reads check headlights after these untrustworthy money hungry sick fucks replaced them. I drove all the way from San Jose a few months ago to fix these issues and the owner said you need to make an appointment. You must be out off your brainless mind he showed no care that I drove 150miles to fix they’re issue and that was he answer. I have never written a negative review on Unilocal but I feel it is my duty to warn people to stay away from this place.
My first mistake was going there to support a local small business. I try to use small and local places because I want to see them flourish but I feel guilty for giving them almost enough money for an extra months rent.
The first thing they did was put a new amp into my wife’s brand new car. That’s all and well but they failed to mention it was put on a switch that needed to be turned off because it drained the battery. Predictably, her battery died when she was in Placerville visiting her mother and had to call roadside assistance. That should have been enough of a red flag but I gave them the benefit of the doubt.
Then I went in to get an amp hooked up to my sub woofer and get the ipod cord replaced because it wasn’t charging my ipod properly. I already had an amp for my other speakers and the sound was great. I just wanted a little more bass. When I picked up my car, the sound was absolutely horrible! They hooked up some cheap headphone jack to my stereo so I could use my ipod while I waited for the part to come in. They didn’t say anything about not having the part when I left my car with them because I guess it wasn’t important to them. Anyways, I made a huge mistake by turning right around and going back to them to «fix» it.
The next day, I get a call saying two of my speakers were blown and for some unknown reason, I allowed them to replace them. Again, my sound was just fine when I first dropped off my car. I should have stopped right then and there but didn’t and I guess that’s my fault. Foolishly, I had them replace the speakers.
Finally, I pick up my car and the sound is still horrible! Also, now my ashtray won’t open, my sunroof doesn’t work, there are two broken clips on the drivers side door panel and a week later, the whole mechanism that controls my locks and windows is no longer seated in the door. The pins that hold that in were broken and they weren’t broken when I first went there!
I was so pissed off but luckily I took the high road and didn’t go back to have them «fix» all the damage they had done. I was over $ 500 deep and would have caused a big time scene if I would have gone back and had to listen to the double talk and tech speak from those amateurs!
Finally, I took my car to Best Buy to get all the damage repaired by a reputable business. It cost me another $ 400 to get the laundry list of problems from broken clips to uninsulated and poorly connected wires put together properly. Now my stereo sounds even better than it did before IB Customs did a hack job on my system. I could take another 20 minutes describing all the problems the people at Best Buy found but I’ll save you the time it would take to read it. Suffice it to say, there were a lot of short cuts and amateur mistakes.
If your money or sanity means anything to you, stay as far from these people as possible. They have no idea what they are doing and will happily jack up your car and take your money to «fix» problems they created in the first place.
It bothers me that I have to give them a star to even post this because I would rather have a prostate exam than give them anything close to a positive rating.

This place is a complete sham I took my vehicle here and they kept some of my equipment that I wanted installed the owner Ray hires tweekers that lives in the back of his shop to do his installs please stay away from this place.

I got my windows tinted yesterday and they did a great job with it. They were all booked up for the day but the owner Ray squeezed me, I didn’t have to wait long and he made sure he worked on the car himself, this guy can multi-​task. You can tell these guys are very passionate about what they do and have been doing this work for years.

Been going here for YEARS! Best place in Sacramento to go to for all your audio needs! Best prices, best customer service, and best professionalism! Ray is the man! All my friends even go here and recommend this place to other people!

Great service! Always has exactly what I need at a good price. Got my speaker kit here and they were very hepful. Hopefully coming back to get my windows tinted

Very nice people, but shitty ass work! Took my luxury car in for tinting and got it back full of bubbles. Was told that the bubbles would go away and that they’re just moisture that needs to dry out. The bubbles didn’t go away after one week so i took my car back to have it redone. They redid the tint and I got it back the second time with bubbles AND scratches AND lint fibers. I went back to ask for a refund and they said I could not have my $ 225 back but they would be happy to redo it a third time. I was irritated but wanted my tint done right so I left my car a third time. This time it looked much better as far as bubbles were concerned, but there was at least one scratch on each window. IB Customs is a joke, a waste of money, and i highly recommend not doing business with them. I won’t be back, and word of mouth can do a lot of damage (or bring success) to a small business like that. If i could rate this company on a negative scale, i would give it a –10 on services. They suck ass!

Came in without an appointment because the car I bought the day before had an AUX cord hooked up in a way I had never seen.
The AUX cord had a switch (weird) that would turn the tuner to make the AUX audio available or the radio/​CD available.
I was in and out in about 40 minutes. They didnt have a part to fix it so Ray (the owner, I think), drove over and picked it up himself.
When I first got there before they started working on it, Ray gave me an assessment of what I would be needing to look at fixing or replacing in the near future. One of the things is my head liner. He said I can either replace it or temporarily fix it myself. He told me what to do and where to get the adhesive.
The guy who worked on my car (Can’t remember his name. Quiet guy.) made a point to ask me and make sure I was comfortable with where the AUX switch was going. Very nice people. I was treated very well.
I will be coming here to get my headliner replace, tint on my windows, and most likely a new way to hook up my AUX.

Have had three windows tinted here. They do quality work at a reasonable price. Every new vehicle we get comes straight here for tinting!

had a great experience, i went in for a basic cd and sub woofer installation on my new car all though i was anxious about someone else doing the besides me the, prices were not crazy as other places around sac, work was done in a timely fashion,

Owners were super cool. Tint looks awesome. But the inside and outside of the vehicle was filthy. Had to wash the inside and outside. Changed to two stars because I still can’t get all the residue off my door panels. Stuff was on my navigation screen and everywhere. Don’t take a luxury car here for tint. Not worth the 200 bucks. Down to one star now. My visor is crooked. 1.5 inches lower on one side than the other. And one front window is cracking on the corner. Have to take it to another shop now. Piece of crap job. Don’t go there.

I went here for a custom subwoofer install to a newly purchased vehicle. The install left me with several damaged interior components due to poor preparation and care. The custom box was also awful. The box left the subwoofer exposed and smelled terrible of cheap over used fiberglass resin for weeks which made me and my passengers nauseated. IB Custom swore this was normal but after conferring with many other audio installers, this proved not true.
I did return to request a refund or replacement of the damaged parts. After several weeks of getting the run around, I finally gave up on having them replacing the damaged parts. In the end, I had another company remove the entire install and redo everything IB Custom installed and I could not be happier.
This company is a sham and all the one star reviews are spot on. UB warned about IB Custom.

Made everything right on there end was a mis communication and they fixed it called ray spoke to him came down to the shop spoke with him verbally and they made it right

Service was very friendly with reasonable prices. Great job installing my new car alarm and stereo /​blue tooth phone /​DVD player /​backup camera. Everything looks and sounds great. I’ll be back to soon to get my windows tinted.

Terrible service broke my center console didn’t replace it an broke my arm rest crappy place crappy service do not waste your money

I went to a audio shop in the North area they screwed up my windows and alarm. Was told about IB Custom from a passer by I took my car there and all is well with my tint, audio, and alarm. Cool place give them a buzz…

I brought my car here to get subs and amp installed. Got here dropped off my car and then they call me and tell me it won’t start… so I’m like fix it. They said «it has nothing to do w the beat. we do this on the daily basis w porches and Farrari’s» (lol fucking doubt it) I said I drive my car on the daily basis. Nvr had this problem. They won’t take responsibly for there work and dnt insure shit. They are a joke. I had to call a mobile mechanic to come fix my car here. Bunch of bull shit. DO NOT! bring your car here beware. THESE GUYS WILL FUCK YOUR SHIT UP…

This place is a joke. I wouldn’t trust these guys to pick up my dogs turds!
So I decided to go here since it was close to where I live…
Took one car in to get a iPod adapter installed. Was initially $ 120 then turned in to $ 150 when I showed up. Whatever, I got it done. I leave, works for about 3 months and stops. Take it back and the guy says that they’ll fix it. Ended up being a disconnected wire. So I leave works for a few months and stopped again. Returned and they said it was past the warranty and they couldn’t do anything. Took it to best buy and they fixed it in 15 min.
Also took our other car here for a tint. 3 hours later… the guy tells me my car is done and that it’s time to pay. I pay, go outside and the tint guy tells me that he messed up and got hair stuck in the tint and that they were all out of the 5% tint so I’d have to bring it back. Now all the windows are bubbling in the corners.
