George’s Shell

George, I will not buy your overpriced gas and I don’t buy Shell…
…but my incessant habit for buying junk food and snacks keeps me coming here. It is so conveniently located (for me), it’s easy to pop in for something before I get on the freeway.
No way, EVER, would I buy gas here or at the nearby neighboring gas stations — way too expensive. However, M&M’s, Doritos, and Red Bull don’t really fluctuate in price like gas, so it’s okay.
Perfectly placed, yet overly priced!

This gas station drives me crazy.
It is usually about $ 0.25/gal cheaper than the Chevron up the street, so I kind of have to go here, but the damn pumps constantly click off every three seconds. So I am just standing there: «Pssssssssss click. Pssssssssss click. Psssssssss click FACK! Psssss click. AGH!». It sucks!
I love the smell of gasoline though. Theirs smells particularly good.

This place is the illest! It’s basically just a gas station with a market but it rules. Gina and Joy are super nice. Plus they have everything our tattoo shop needs; cigarettes, snacks, licorice, candy, sweet teas, slurpees, and lottery tickets. They do need to make more of their lottery tickets win though. Love these guys.

ever since they re-​did this gas station and added the nice new mini mart it’s too cool .
it’s weird all the people that work here seem like they are genuinely happy to be working and talking to you !!!
oh and super good deals on redbuls quite often too !!

After being told at a nearby gas station that their air pump was down, I drove on a nearly flat tire to this station. Their machine looked operable and no out-​of-​order sign was posted. I asked the attendant to change a dollar for quarters so that I could get some air and he said the machine wasn’t working.
I’ve had enough. I reported them. If this happens to you, go to the California Department of Food and Agriculture, Division of Measurement Standards website and file a complaint. Here’s the link:

Funny, I notice they always manage to keep the cash register and the gas pumps in good running order, although they seem to care less about fixing their air compressor.
