History

Established in 1994.

What began as a home office for the branch office for a another business in the field — Fritz and company came into being out of a desire for a more personalized approach to Emergency Electrical Power equipment maintenance for ATT Wireless. From this grew contracts for homes and businesses in the Sacramento Valley and Northern Sierras.

With a background born from a family history of marine engine; large off-​road GM equipment; lawn and garden products and electrical production — Fritz and Company is the outcome of such historical names such as Atlas Diesel — Williams and Lane — and by factory association — Generac; Kohler Power; Kohler Engine; Kubota; Zenith and Cutler Hammer.

We have two techs who are certified for warranty service for both Generac power and portable products, Kohler Power systems and Kohler engines.

Bill L.

Manager

A Navy sonar man on the USS Bausell — Bill Lane has worked for such historical companies such as Williams and Lane; GM Diesel; and E.E.Richter.

With a wide range of experience on engines of all sizes; power generation from 3kW Inverters to 1000 kW paralleled units — Bill embodies an old school approach to business. Honesty, integrity and the same dedication regardless of project size.

Factory trained and at one time a factory trainer himself, Bill is ever in search of knowledge about his craft, open to new technologies and looks at his chosen field as a calling not just a job.

Certified by Generac Power Systems, Kohler Engine and Kohler Power factories Bill is one of two technicians able to perform warranty repairs on products regardless of where they are purchased — as long as they are certified for use in California.

He also carries expertise in the retro-​fit of Engine/​Generator emissions systems to comply with currant Air Quality Standards for California.
