I had a tooth extracted at this office recently, by Dr. Pestana. He was very nice and I had no problems there, but the office staff is grossly unprofessional. They are so money-​hungry that they pressure you unmercifully, which I hate.
The minute the DDS said my tooth had to be extracted, two of them immediately started working on me to «get you scheduled». They got irritated with me when I wouldn’t immediately commit to a date. I told them I wouldn’t have the money until the 1^st just to get them off my back. Subsequently, my mother died and I had to leave town without scheduling my extraction. I called them to get a refill on my antibiotic prescription, and this «surgical assistant» Jennifer was terribly rude to me. First she told me «You don’t need antibiotics», like she would know. Then she told me she wouldn’t do anything until I was scheduled for surgery. I responded that I had had a discussion with the staff already, and she responded «There was no discussion». I told her to call the DDS and hung up on her. She called back with the refill, but was still rude, saying «now you ARE going to schedule when you get your check»! They started calling me on the 1^st, and were not pleased when I didn’t immediately do what they wanted. Oh, and they don’t do «payment plans» according to the office manager, and you can’t have her email to send her your Unilocal review!
