Bath & Biscuits

Every two months I take my 3 poodles (2 standard and one mini) to be groomed. We love our dogs and they deserve the best! That’s why we invest in Bath & Biscuits. They are a very professional groomer and have never done anything questionable or unacceptable. We are always so proud of the way they look when they come home.

It’s a long drive but really worth it for our little baby poodle mix. They give us the exact cut we ask for and treat our baby like family.
If we are in a hurry and don’t have an appointment we use the self-​service was area which is specials and well stocked.
We have been here about 20 times in the past 3 years and have never been disappointed and I’m sure you won’t be either. Prices are very reasonable for all their services.

I love that I can take my dogs in without an appt and usually never have to wait. The people are always super friendly and helpful.

They cut my dog’s foot and missed a lot of hairs especially around the mouth. She seemed like she knew what she was doing but then I saw that my dog had blood on her paw and that the woman who groomed her had missed a lot of hairs…

I called bath and bobbleheads and was in awe of the crazy.
Why are you answering the main biz line in the same area that you have blow dryers going. It is completely insane. By the 3^rd attempt at calling, I finally suggested that maybe they answer the phone in another area away from the dryers. The lady replied: «I can hear you if you aren’t on speaker phone!»
I replied. I’m not on speaker phone, but I am being forced to yell just so you can hear me say hello.
Seriously… if you can’t get answering the phone right, I shiver to think about my poor dog in the hands of these geniuses!

took my dogs to be bathed and clipped. One of the dogs came to me bleeding all over the floor, no one said anything until I saw the blood on the floor. Then the groomers said, «oh ya, I nicked him». This was not just a drop or two but he was bleeding pretty bad. My dogs are now traumatized so bad they won’t even go into the building. Not what I would call «good business practices». We all love our animals but for them to be treated like this and no one there really showed any concern, not going back that’s for sure.

You never have to worry about a self service tub being dirty. They staff cleans each tub after each use. Grooming is also amazing. They even were able to brush my stubborn dogs teeth. I wouldn’t take my fur baby anywhere else. Love Bath and Biscuits.

This place is a hidden gem! Drove all the way from Elk Grove with 2 dramatic dogs to get here but it’s well worth it. Everything here is extremely well functioned to make sure that your grooming experience is a good one. I loved how helpful and wonderful both Kat and Jessica were during our stop. We even ordered a cake for thanksgiving that they bake and customize for you. They also have a good reward program that you can take advantage of.

Great place for self service dog washing. The only negative is that it’s often so hot and humid inside it’s very uncomfortable. Recently it was 80 degrees inside in October! After mentioning it was hot inside, nothing was done about it. If they want repeat business they’ve got to ensure the customers are comfortable as well. Now that winter is arriving hopefully it’ll be cooler inside.

Great service and a very clean place. Also, find it hard to find good self-​wash (if any) and they have a great place for you to use. and… They sell Orijin & Acana, so you have all you need right there!

It really pains me to have to write this review because I was so looking forward to taking my dog here based on a friend’s recommendation. From the moment I stepped in the door nothing really felt right. The lady who was at the front barely gave me the time of day and was less than pleasant. The groomer seemed sweet, but to be honest I really never got the feeling that anyone cared about me, or my dog the way another business in Sacramento did. To be fair, I had my boyfriend pick our dog up to see if he got a better vibe and he did not. He echoed the same sentiments that I did. Maybe we just caught them on an off day, unfortunately when it comes to my dog who is one of the most important things in my life, I’m not really willing to give second chances. The only positive, they were cheaper than the other groomer we had tried. In this case, I’ll be choosing to spend a little more so that me, and my dog are happy.

Warning. Your first visit may be stellar, your second may be the worst.

They are fantastic!!! I used them in the past for their self-​wash and it was always so welcoming and clean but today I utilized their bakery for a cake for my company and they BLEW ME AWAY!!! It was so cute and the decorating was better then the people cake I got from a bakery!!! Tina is always so friendly and goes out of her way to help anyone with anything! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!!

They are wonderful with my baby! I refuse to go anywhere to have his toe nails chipped! The staff are so pleasant and warming!

First time to take Toby here. We really like the way they took care of him. He was happy when we picked him up (not begging to go towards us as if he had the scare of his life, like he does in Petsmart). He even played and licked his handler, Jennifer, while we were there. No cuts in his skin. I usually smell his ears after grooming to check if they clean it well, and it smelled clean! I think that’s how i know if one handler really took care of cleaning him, through his ears. Also love the haircut. Already scheduled another appointment in July.

Took my Yorkie to get his hair cut and they offer a great deal to get the hair cut, sanitation cut, and nails cut for $ 15! She did a great job and I will definitely be back!

Staff are really friendly and helpful. I love the shampoo they provide. It’s diluted so I usually use all three bottles. If you bring multiple dogs, you get a discount. Also after so many washes, you get a free wash. If you have a dog who has a thick coat, ask for the deshedder. That works wonders and takes a lot of the excess hair out. You get a free dog treat after you finish drying your dog. I haven’t used the professional washing service only the self wash. They also provide a ear cleaner and some teeth wipes.

Been taking Maci (maltese) here for a few years now and always great service. It’s worth the $ 35 for bath, cut, nails, and ear cleaning, all of which are disastrous when I try at home. They’re popular, so appointments take 1 – 3 weeks.

I’m leaning into 4.5 stars, and ONLY because it is nigh impossible to get into this place for grooming. The most recent appointment we had was booked 6 WEEKS in advance! Obviously that speaks to the popularity of Bath & Biscuits, but after a while I think at least one additional staff member might be in order…
Anyway, everything else about this location has been awesome. Our dog Hobbes is a hyper, anxious Golden-​Irish mix, and has managed to pee on the floor all three times he has been here in spite of taking him for walks beforehand (how do you even have any pee left!!?). But staff has always been cool about it.
We most recently took him in for a full grooming, which includes bath, dry, trim, nails, & anal glands, and it’s only $ 40 out the door. Hobbes had an unfortunate buzz cut to his butt after rolling in something gummy-​tar-​like substance, and our groomer managed to give him a beautiful, clean all-​over trim that helped blend that ugly cut right in while still leaving him with his lush, red coat. She also trimmed up the long hairs on the back of his legs and gave him a clean, streamlined cut while still maintaining his Irish Setter look.
Even though he’s anxious and a bit of a handful, the staff is always super friendly and reassuring to him, and he always comes back looking like a million bucks!

I ordered a birthday cake for my dogs. Orders must be placed 3 days in advanced. Cakes range from $ 14-​$ 24 and can be a bone shaped or circle. The color of the frosting can be customized. It came out really cute and my dog is so excited just smelling the cake! His cake was made the day of so everything is fresh. They also caught me at my car to give me instructions on how to store the cake and that it needs to be refrigerated.
