Specialties

At B B Handy, we take pride in our high level of service. We are the best choice you can make when choosing professional and affordable Sacramento, CA General Contractors.

History

Established in 2000.

I became a general contractor in 2000 and leveraged my status as a service disabled veteran up until 2010 and I took a 5 year hiatus to Maryland. I have since returned to Sacramento and continue my services as a general contractor and home improvement specialist. At some point in the future I may get recertified as a service disabled vet but for now I simply market myself as a veteran owned business, with military service reflected between 1972 to 1996. Having worked as a contractor at most levels, state, federal, and local municipality, commercial and residential, I find it very satisfying simply to achieve a home owner requirements and move from one small project to another. I don’t see any substantial changes to this process anytime in the near future.

Meet the Business Owner

Michael Lessing W.

Business Owner

I am a self employed business man after serving as a soldier in the Army. Some x soldiers go off and work other jobs that offer more security, perhaps a steady paycheck, and or an additional pension after putting in another 15 or 20 years. I tried that road and it was not a good fit. Service to something larger than me was accomplished while I was on active duty. Once you are a true leader or someone who takes seriously the responsibilities of directing others based on a core belief that everyone is in it together. It was difficult to accept complacency of others who don’t understand, appreciate or see value in selfless service. So for me, for now, I like my customers and the small contribution I can make in meeting their expectation versus a regular job. Retiring as a senior nco and in that capacity putting the needs of others first was common practice. As in the past it will be in the future, service where it will make a difference in the lives of others.
