A & A Concrete Supply

Dirtbags! I think their only knowledge of cement is that you can’t snort it! As for concrete forget it, the guys at Home Depot know more then they do!
Bad attitudes seem to be company wide, professionalism is non existent, my advice, Call Teichert or Cemex and deal with companies that are not playing around!

Extremely Rude and unhelpful.
I spoke with Juan, who gave me a number for someone to only have it directed back to him. He was so rude. I was trying to get an idea if they delivered to two different areas… I couldn’t get an answer from anyone. Don’t put that you service specific areas, if you don’t want calls regarding service to those areas.
To be honest it didn’t seem like he wanted any calls. And I will not ever call them again.

I don’t see how either of the previous reviews proves or disproves this companies ability to deliver a quality product. Are you really going to judge the entire company based on one drivers lack of discretion using his middle finger? Chances are that you are the one that endangered the lives of your family members and are simply oblivious to the considerations and nuances of sharing the road with heavier, slower vehicles that are much more difficult to operate than a four wheeled vehicle. I am a truck driver and I can honestly say that the real menace on the road are the cars. NOT the truck drivers. BTW… Trucks do not accelerate quickly so I’m curious how Maria S. knows that the driver pressed down the gas «full-​on.» Also, it is the job of the vehicles entering the freeway to yield to freeway traffic. (IF that was the case). NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND! 99% of cars on the road lack the required awareness of road conditions and do not pay attention, follow too closely, cut vehicles off, and are impatient. BAD mixture when sharing the road with larger vehicles.
AS a professional driver I think it’s ironic that so many people are afraid of trucks when it is the smaller vehicles that I see (daily over and over again) who endanger there own lives and anyone in their vehicles, not to mention the other vehicles that are around them simply because they do not consider the size and weight of larger vehicles that they are lawfully responsible for sharing the road with!!!
As for the crack in the windshield… you’re not the only one out there that has had a rock hit the windshield, but yea they should have called you sooner. This stuff doesn’t happen all the time.

Doesn’t deserve a star at all… Truck #SC534… This truck driver was being a reckless driver. He was yielding to us and almost hit out car with 2 small children in the car. Instead of him yielding to us he decided to full on press on the gas. And he had the guts to give us the middle finger… What a fucking idiot!!! People like him should not be driving that truck and doesn’t not deserve a job!!!

I am a local landscape contractor that had a driveway to bid. I called around and was getting prices, doing the usual spiel. When I spoke with «Juan», he didn’t seem to have very much insight or advice as to helping me. My questions were given odd, short and indefinate answers. Then when I tried to clarify, the guy got attitude with me. I was placing an order for 21 yards of concrete (about 3 truckloads worth), again, Im not paving a highway or anything but its a good $ 2000 orth of materials. When I asked for a contractor discount he scoffed and basically told me that was the BEST he could do.
When I asked to speak to the manager, and learned that Juan WAS the plant manager, it really threw me for a loop. Non competitive, almost acting like I was lucky to be calling him. No up sale skills at all. No knowledge or input as to what would normally be used (5 sack /​6 sack etc), how deep I might want to pour the driveway. Just all in all, a dip-$#!t of a person on the end of the other line.
I called Folsom Ready Mix, got WAY better service, answered all of my questions of what kind of mix, how deep we should lay the driveway, etc and (imagine this) even recommended the fiberglass mix that resists cracking etc (for a small increase).
Im sure their concrete is fine, but I’d honestly rather pay a little more and get better service with someone else. Thanks Juan!

I am writing this review regarding the integrity of this company, one of there gravel filled trucks had sprayed some gravel on my windshield causing a crack, Even after documenting exact route truck number and having a witness to this occurrence. A & A took 3 weeks to tell me that they were not responsible stating it was road hazard and there concrete gravel truck was empty. An honest company would have just taken the responsibility, I am certain this was not a first tine for them. Just a little disappointed.
