I’ve been going to the Friendly’s chain for longer than I can remember and as the joints go this one wasn’t all that shabby. Both Vanilla milkshakes were fine and the burger and fries were normal too. Hardly any wait time from door to table with the wait for food as well. The waitresses were sweet natured and Friendly. Ask for Ryan, she’s a kind one.

Just walked out. After waiting several minutes to be acknowledged(three staff stared blankly in the direction of the otherwise empty waiting area) I was seated. After more than 10 more minutes, no one had shown up to take an order. There’s no excuse for no service when the restaurant is less than a quarter full.

Yah I know it’s a chain and it’s Friendly’s, BUT, I have been to this place many times over the years and breakfast is always good. The wait staff is, well, Friendly and nice. Now I have been to other Friendly’s that I would never go back to, but I have never had a bad experience at this one. One scary thing… They put the number of calories on the menu. Yikes, don’t look at those numbers as it could ruin your breakfast. Eat, enjoy and then go for a long walk to burn the calories.

One of our favorite places for a quick sandwich. Friendly staff. Menu that has a good selection from salads and soups to full meals. I have also tried it for breakfast a couple of times too. As chain restaurants go I think friendlys does a pretty good job.

While in VT a couple of weeks ago we needed a place to stop for breakfast. We went into Friendly’s and the place was mobbed but there wasn’t an employee in sight. We probably had to stand there for about 5 minutes until someone came out of the back and sat us. This seemed to be the trend of the meal. At one point while waiting for our food I accidentally spilled my water. The glass fell onto the table pretty loudly on to the table, and pretty much everyone in the restaurant turned toward me. No one person who worked there however ever came over to make sure everything was ok. We had to track someone down in order to get some extra napkins to clean up. The food was your basic breakfast foods, nothing too fancy. However for some reason it definitely took a long time to make a few pancakes. I know the place was pretty crowded, but normally I would expect a place like that to have a pretty quick turn over on food. Maybe it was so crowded because it took everyone so long to get their simple breakfast food?
