Worst rip off company, the customer service is worst, they don’t treat you like customers because they think that you owe them. My car didn’t have snow when they took it and they gave me to full of snow, they didn’t even help, and then I couldn’t find the car key and they said that it was in the car and it turned out that the guy who took my car out forgot it in his pocket. Just be careful because when you get into a car accident they don’t even let you call your AAA insurance, by the time you realized what happened a tow truck it’s already on its way. And they also charge you money for snow cleaning. In conclusion worst company ever. If you are going to use it do yourself a favor and do some research.

I recommend Nick’s towing to anyone needing a tow. I was stuck on rt 46 in lodi in the rain with a flat tire. I called and spoke with Tommy, he was extremely helpful and efficient. He got a truck out to me quick. Jeff the tow truck driver had my tire changed in seconds. Thanks again guys, you were lifesavers.

I had a horrible experience when I picked up my car from Nick’s Towing Services in Rutherford, NJ. (There was a miscommunication on the registration of my vehicle, the town of East Rutherford presume the vehicle was «stolen» but really the plates were in transition from old to new, therefore they called Nick’s Towing to tow the vehicle on 7÷16÷2015)
I inspected the vehicle on the premises on 7÷17÷2015 before driving away and noticed damage on the ride side side skirt of my car (irregular to normal driving, looks like something rubbed against it and ripped the paint and scratched the top coat in other areas, seems to be metal and could be from skates/​jacks/​tools from towing the vehicle onto the flatbed tow truck when they were working on the car since they did not have the key to move the actual vehicle)
I notified to the staff in the dispatch office of the damage and asked how I can process a claim to get it repaired or at least looked at. The owner I presume that came out and said no way and was very rude with dealing with the situation. No evidence can be provided when I asked for it and they mentioned they don’t check the vehicles prior to towing them. This is violation of the ordinance by the way, also witnesses saw the towing operator taking pictures of the cars (they towed another vehicle as well) while towing so then why can’t I see the pictures (if there was damage on the car prior to towing, then no issue with the towing company, right? easy process one would think)
*This vehicle was repainted only about a year ago, I inspect my vehicle prior to going to repair shops so I know that that damage was done by the towing company and not from normal driving.
Unfortunately I was cursed at and had the owner say derogatory things about drivers who have their vehicles towed there and made a rude comment about homosexuals.
I left without a resolution because the owner just left me midway through a conversation I was trying with him to find out how we can resolve the issue. He said I quote «Hire an attorney and sue me, I am not Fxxxxxx paying you anything»
I deal with a lot of people and businesses and this is the first time that I ever met someone who was unprovoked cursed out a paying customer (me) who just merely asking questions about a process which to most towing companies would be normal. (Getting your car towed is not a daily occurrence for the normal driver, but for a company that deals with this day in and day out, you would imagine they have a protocol or sign that says any damages occur here is not the responsibility of the company etc. etc., no they have no signs posted on the fence or building or mentioned of this on their invoice or office area.)
Aside from all the confrontational discussion I had with the owner, I am a paying customer for a bill that is $ 376 for a tow that is 1 – 2 miles away from their shop, makes no difference but I feel that I should get at least minimal customer service or support if I have a valid claim. (I am not making a ridiculous request, just asking normal simple questions)
**They calculated 7÷15÷2015 as the initial date of the tow but other records and witnesses say it is 7÷16÷2015, so Nick’s Towing company charged additional day for storage. This could also be an error on the office who processed the report, human error they could have meant to write down ⁷⁄₁₆ but wrote ⁷⁄₁₅.
***Please do yourself a favor and do not deal with this kind of company who treat human beings like this. You are a human being and you deserve some decency when dealing with a business that is contracted by the municipal of East Rutherford and the state of New Jersey.

Extremely helpful, courteous, friendly and professional. I felt very comfortable leaving my husbands car in their hands.
