Regal Cinemas Royal Palm Beach 18 RPX

The theater we have gone to for years was redone. Reclining seat, tables and wood floors. So awesome.

I have been to this theater 3 times now and I have to say, my husband and I will not be returning.
The wait to purchase a ticket is longer than necessary.
The wait to purchase concessions is even worse.
We went to see The Conjuring 2 on a Sunday night at 8 pm and the theater was filled with lowlife ghetto people talking over the movie, yelling at each other, and messing around on their phones.
Never again.

Went to this movie theater today with my wife and kids to watch A movie. Have been going here for the last 17 years loyally. As we pull up to the movie theater we noticed all the exit doors are open at which point we realize what was going on. When I got up to the concession stand I asked the girl front what was happening and she stated that they were having technical difficulties throughout the whole day and movies were coming in and out. I decided to stay anyways then the girl pulled up a map and told me to choose my seats on this map the only available seats when the front of the theater. Problem is I was there an hour and a half early for the movie and already all the seats are taken. Had a small issue with this as I’m physically there and there’s nobody in linebut all the seats are taken as she stated through fandango. Didn’t make sense that I’m physically there an hour and a half earlier and everyone had already brought the tickets from their homes. The girl assisting us was laughing at my wife with her co worker cause we questioned this new practice. Well I guess it’s technology for you so I couldn’t get any seats together so we decided to leave. I called the manager and told her my issues with this practice she acted combative with my statement as all movie theatre as she stated are going to this assigned seating. I told her she has lost a customer of 17 years that spends an average of $ 100 every time we go there (yes my kids love snacks). Horrible practice and the atmosphere was dead when we left. At this rate they will be loosing a lot of customers.

I went during a week day so not alot of other movie goers there at the time. Theatre was clean and had plenty of staff. I did not purchase concessions but they had a ton of snacks and beverages to choose from. There were little candy machines all over. Parking lot is huge as well. Quite a few restaurants in same complex to have dinner at. I enjoyed my movie and will be returning to this venue. Also Regal has a rewards card you can accumulate points for different things such as popcorn or soda.

After a bad experience with this theatre on our last visit, We gave it one last shot since it’s close to home, and came here last Saturday night to see VVitch. We both agreed that this will be our last time coming here. For starters, the line on the concession stand is similar to
Waiting in line at the DMV. That’s not even the worst of it.
This is now the second time that I have been in an R rated movie at this theatre, and have been disrupted by groups of 20 to 30 13 year old kids. These kids run up and down the aisles, yell across the theatre, play on their phones, block the screen, and are just plain rowdy. Multiple other patrons were yelling at these kids to be quiet, and many other customers got up to complain. I literally missed the first ten minutes of the movie because I couldn’t here what was happening. It got so bad that a police officer had to come into the theatre to get these kids to behave!
Management has no control over these ghetto hood rat teenagers, who bounce around from movie to movie all night long, disrupting the paying customers. From now on I will make the drive to Palm Beach Gardens.
NEVER AGAIN!!!

Well this movie theatre used to be the best one around this area. Unfortunately, as time passed, it has attracted a certain «clientele» that is not so favorable when it comes to enjoying a movie.
Last night we came to see a movie and about twenty five teenagers came into the theatre at once. They were screaming «black lives matter» during the first fifteen minutes of the movie. They were running up and down the stairs and talking the entire time as well. Finally we decided to walk out. When we were leaving, we ran into a deputy who obviously had got complaints from patrons and from Regal about the craziness. He was about to «handle» things, I assume. Anyway, we didn’t stick around long enough to find out!
Instead, we marched up to customer service and demanded a refund for our tickets and food. The manager was very understanding and accommodating. She refunded us for everything and on top of it gave us five free admission tickets! The way she handled things was very professional, and I actually felt bad for her– I knew more people from our theatre would follow our footsteps and complain about what had happened.
Needless to say this Regal has gone down hill due to the patrons. Every time I come here, I have some unfortunate event happen such as the one described above. I hope the management can figure out a way to keep the place classy.

Let’s see. Got there at 4 for a 4:25 movie. Took 20 minutes to buy tickets. Took 20 minutes to buy popcorn. Popcorn was burnt. Besides that, it was swell.

It’s a decent overall theater. Good seats (if its a new movie then you can pick ‘IMAX’ which is a few dollars more, seats are even better, better surround sound, and you get to watch the movie on a bigger screen). Good popcorn, but for food/​candy its overpriced. You are better off going to the Dollar Store/​Target, buying candy from there and sneaking it inside in your purse/​pockets.
If the theater line does get packed. The lines are really slow. They have about two people working the stations while there are around 5 stations in total. You are better off buying the tickets Online and skip the whole line. Same goes with the concession stand as well, it takes really long (sadly you can’t order your food Online).

Very clean movie theatre. Downside someone that works in theatre came in 3x to do a count to see if anyone was sneaking in, kinda distracting and annoying. And popcorn and drink was 2x more then the ticket.

Standing outside waiting for regal to open doors. They were suppose to open at 11am and here it is 12:21. Wanting to pickup my Star Wars ticket. Very frustrated!

This place is horrible. Avoid at all costs. We live nearby so we’ve tried watching films here several times but the experience is always terrible. We must have been insane to return to this place so many times.
1. I don’t know what it is about this place, but it seems to attract the worst humanity has to offer when it comes to attendees. People talk, use their cell phones, let their kids run up and down the aisles with shoes that have the strobe lights in the heels. I’ve even had to awkwardly sit through several minutes of an obviously disturbed gentleman walk around the auditorium during the movie shouting to himself. Thankfully he eventually wandered out of the theater. Stuff like this has happened during every film I’ve watched here! In fact, the last time my wife tried to watch a movie here, someone tried to smoke a cigarette in one of the auditoriums, set off the smoke alarms, and forced everyone to evacuate the building. I kid you not!
2. They randomly change the schedules during the week. Hey, you decided to skip the lines (and they are always horribly long and slow here) by paying an extra dollar for an already expensive movie ticket? Better show up extra early because management likes to change the schedules without updating Fandango. That’s right; you could show up on time, ticket in hand, and find out the movie started 20 minutes early!
3. Projection issues: There have been several times when the projectionist left the lights on in the projection room during most of the movie. I’ve even walked out mid-​film and told an employee, but nothing was ever done about it. Some of the screens have distracting blemishes on them that are noticeable whenever the film has a light background. This isn’t a budget theater either! We are talking $ 15 movie tickets here!
4. Extremely slow moving lines. Buying a ticket at the box office after 6pm will typically take you 20 minutes of standing in line. God help you if you want to buy popcorn or something, because the concession stand lines are usually even slower moving.
In conclusion: Ticket Buyer Beware!

There must be feebs running this place… came to watch the 2:00pm Dracula Double Feature on 10/25/15…first off the concession stand was way under staffed… then someone had to go wake up the projectionist who was already a half hour late running the film and then again to tell them to turn out the lights in the theater… finally the first feature played but the TCM commentary following the film was immediately cut off… now I have sat in darkness waiting for the second feature to start for at least 20 minutes now… someone in the theater has already went out twice now to get them to roll the film…5 minutes later we’re still in darkness… thinking about asking for a refund… I was really looking forward to this… This theater is obviously run by armatures… I’ll never set foot in here again.
…and the icing on the cake is in the last 10 minutes of the final film… some moron in one of the other theaters was smoking and set the fire alarm off so they had to evacuate the entire theater and call the fire department… looks like I’m getting that refund after all… never again!

Definitely a fantastic movie theater with 18 screens there’s always something new to watch. Drinks and popcorn aren’t overly priced like some movie theaters and there’s actually quite a large selection of gourmet food items to be purchased in the lobby. I definitely recommend getting the regal crown card really rack up points pretty quickly and it helps out a lot

Love the free screenings from Broad Green. We live in North Palm Beach, but don’t mind the drive over to Royal Palm for the Broad Green screenings. Great way to get through the rest of the week. As long as they keep sending me email, we’ll keep showing up.

Let’s see.
1. The world’s slowest moving line to order really overpriced popcorn? Check.
2. Sticky floors, a screaming 4 year old in an R rated movie? Check.
3. Funky smell that reminds you of a camel’s ass? Check.
Just the place for date night.

Theater itself is nice, good location and nice screens but the people working there really really suck. The owner needs to really see what’s going on with them because it takes an average of 20 minutes to get popcorn during a slow night.

Checked on Fandango for showtime and proceeded to theatre. Extremely long line inside so we opted for the self ticket machine. We got over to it and the movie we wanted to see wasn’t showing up for the correct showtime. We went inside to ask the guy taking tickets who wouldn’t listen to what we needed and I made a face to which the guy at the customer service area asked if we needed tickets. I told him yes but that the computer wasn’t showing it and asked if it was sold out. He said no only at 10:00. I said we looked on Fandango. He then started to look it up and another customer came up and said just one person behind the counter? The gentleman said yes just one, the line is not that long. We received no apology or any attempt to correct this error and the «manager» looking guy seemed to not care. I only found it fitting to post a picture of the «not long» line.

We saw RPX movie at Regal. Super service and knowledgeable staff! We did not have much problems. Excellent handicap services. Was raining outside after movie one day. I had to wait inside for some time… An employee politely asked me to see another movie in progress… By the time it ended. Rain stopped too! Thank you!

Follow up. We have revisited twice more and still a poor experience. The 1^st follow up, the 3D RPX movie was incorrectly displayed (double image not 3D related) and it took over 20 minutes of the movie to correct. I should mention that the problem started during the pre-​movie ads and they chose not to correct it. Several of us walked out demanding it be fixed and finally it was. Time paid for and lost. No apologies.
People in front rows on cell phone talking, the floors were still sticky gross early in the day. The attendants were aware of the talking and chose to ignore it even after witnessing it in person.
The last experience was more of the same minus the movie play problem. I had hoped the poor feedback many are giving would help them make changes but that does not seem to be the case for this location.
I do not recommend this theater unless you are paying for cheap seats and cheap ticket prices. Be prepared to listen to rude, chatty people and be disrespected by the staff. I much prefer Cobb theater and would rather give them my money. Shameful.
