Duffield Dentistry has been located in Royal Oak since 1990. Originally on Woodward by the Zoo, the office moved to its new spacious modern location on Crooks in 2000.

Business Owner

Dr Duffield is a 1982 graduate of the University of Michigan Dental School. He is from Royal Oak area since 1971. Dr Duffield has fellowship standing in the International Congress of Implantologists, the only sustaining member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry in Royal Oak, and a teaching Mentor at the Kois Center in Seattle, Washington (a prestigious post doctoral dental program). Cosmetic and Implant Dentistry are passions for Dr Duffield.

Dr. Duffield and his staff are wonderful! They are extremely friendly and make the trip to the dentist enjoyable. I’ve tried other places in Royal Oak, but since coming to Duffield Dentist, I wouldn’t go anywhere else! The front desk receptionists are also great and are willing to help you out with any questions you have.

After bouncing around from dentist to dentist for several years, I was referred to Dr. Duffield about five years ago, and have been a patient of his ever since. Dr. Duffield is an expert at his profession, and the staff is always very professional and courteous. The team at Duffield doesn’t just care about cleaning my teeth, they also care about my overall health. Their office and technology is state of the art, and they are conveniently located and always accommodating. Megan, in the office, is a mainstay & always treats you as if you were a member of the family.

I was impressed with my first trip to Duffield Dentistry. Allyson, the hygienist took time to answer all my questions and explain what she was doing and why. Dr. Duffield was personable as well and addressed anyconcerns I had as well ad options for whitening with a crown. Highly recommend and will be returning to them for my 6 month bi– yearly checkup/​cleaning!

If you’re looking for a small dentist’s office with excellent customer service, Duffield Dentistry is as good as it gets.
During both of my visits, I felt at-​ease about the expertise of the hygienists, who make it a point to explain what they’re about to do and are thorough in their cleanings. When a hygienist is cleaning your teeth, you want them to be careful, yet confident, and that’s exactly what I got at Duffield.
I recently moved to New York and had to call the office to inquire about my last check-​up, and as soon as I gave the receptionist my last name, she remembered my first name, and said, «You moved, right?» While it might not be a big deal to some, I appreciate that they make it a point to remember their patients, and that they still gave me the level of attention that they did when I was in their office.
