Custom ordered (since it was April) a turkey cake from here and loved it! The cake was fresh (taro, though you can get Black Forest too) and so cute. It was a hit! The ladies who work in this little bakery are nice (and speak English!) and I got like three $ 1 coupons for my next visit. I’d come back here again!

Best bakery in town ! Macaroons, cakes, and buns are all delicious! Good price. Must go !

So Nini bakery always runs a 99 cent boba milk tea special during summer months. a few weeks ago, I went to get a 99 cent boba tea.
«I’m sorry but the bobas aren’t ready yet. they won’t be for another 2 hours».
«hmmm I can’t wait that long, i’ll just take it without the bobas then.»
«The promotion is only for boba tea, so without boba it’ll be $ 3»
so your boba wasn’t ready and you want me to pay $ 2 extra because of that?! I guess on 2^nd thought what she said somewhat makes sense but it’s not a great customer experience either way.
I ended up walking out without buying anything. And I’ve been too annoyed to go back — I’m just going to pay a little extra and go to quickly and JJ café next door, with just as good, no actually better food.
Now to be fair, before this incident, I came here quite a bit because of its convenient location and acceptable bakeries and drinks. In other words, the food is not bad which is why I still gave it 3 stars even though I’m not planning on going back anytime soon.

I had a really bad experience once with one of the girl that works at the counter, she charged me the free news paper and when I asked for my money back she gave me the 3^rd degree and was mouthing off stuff like: what is the big deal? It’s just 50 cents? , I told her she had an awful attitude and walked out to my car which was parked right out front, and no joke I heard her scream inside and started to scream profanity. needless to say I never returned to this place because I could not understand how they would allow someone like that to work there and serve their customer, plus their bread isn’t so great that I can’t do without and there are plenty of Chinese bakeries around with better bread and pastries.
So that was nearly one year ago, and just last week my mom had ordered a birthday cake and wanted me to pick it up, and I was pleasantly surprised by this experience. The girls that worked there that day are so much better, they were friendly and courteous, OK so this is an improvement on the customer service, and I must say the cake is so nice the way it’s designed I have not seen it anywhere else. Later that night I tastes the cake it had two layers inside which is different then the other birthday cakes I have tried from other bakeries in this area, the cake was fluffy and light it was not too sweet and the filling was mango and crispy pastry, the cake was done with fresh cream, over all was delicious without being too heavy.
I will come back here for the cake and try other stuff, as long as they don’t have unqualified crazy person working there !

Went in to order my little one’s birthday cake. Asian bakery prices are pretty reasonable and since my mom frequents this place and knows them well, I decided to give them a shot. I really love their round 3D cakes and they can make it into a large size but it was double the price of a regular sheet cake. I ordered a ½ sheet cake for a little over a Benjamin with everything included: custom design with fruit topping, writing, all the fruits I wanted (I chose mango and strawberry) in a vanilla base. Since kids would be eating the cake, we didn’t want to include anything that may cause an allergic reaction. I found a picture online and quickly texted the design to the cake maker. They confirmed the design with me and will definitely update once the party rolls around with pictures. The sheet cakes start off at $ 65 for a ¼ sheet cake then $ 100, then increases. The round cakes are a little more expensive and for about 35 people, a large round cake would be about $ 200. I didn’t have the booklet to myself otherwise I would’ve discreetly take a pic of the prices. It is listed in their massive book of cake pics. They have designs such as Minions, Angry Birds, Cars, etc. that they design themselves and doesn’t look like they just got it from a catalog caricature. I almost always get my cakes here and have been delicious. No complaints from anyone. I also picked up a few pastries as well for under $ 10.

My family goes here often because it’s the closest bakery to where I live (walking wise) Their iced green tea is inexpensive and pretty decent. The reason why I’m giving it 2 stars it’s because I found a hair in my tuna sandwich… and they give my non-​asian friends a dirty look.

Decent, good bakery. Has the basic things an Asian bakery has. I still prefer JJ bakery, but since this is closer to me, it’s more convenient to come here. I always get the walnut cookies, ham and cheese bread, and corn and cheese bread. I saw something today I will get next time… taro mochi bread. I’ll give you guys an update next time! Oh, and their macarons are $ 1.50 each and they are good as well.

The hubby’s family and I go to this bakery around once every couple months. We enjoyed their baked goods so much that we decided to hire them to do our wedding cake.
Now, all employees are very nice. And the main boss was pretty cool. For the most part, we had the hubby’s parents talk in Mandarin to them to make sure there wasn’t any confusion in anything. We did talk to the main boss a few times in English, and had pictures and diagrams to show what we wanted.
However, in the end, the cake wasn’t exactly what we had asked for. We had asked for chocolate heart balloons on the side, which they did perfectly, but they colored them blue instead of purple/​lavender/​pink. :/​Well, the color of our venue is blue, so it worked out a bit.
And, for the flavors, we were supposed to have a vanilla cake and with strawberry and peach as the filling on one tier, but it turned out to only be peach on one side and strawberry on the other. Our top tier had green tea cake and red bean, but there was supposed to be mochi, and there wasn’t. We had the second tier be made with taro, which I think was made correctly.
Delivery was fine, and pricing was okay. Everyone really loved how the cake looked with our cake toppers, and the cake wasn’t too sweet.
In the end, everything worked out. It was still a beautiful cake even if it was the wrong color, and if some of the flavors were incorrect, it was still good. So, definitely NOT a cakewreck.
We’ll still order from this bakery again. At the very least, we’ll go to this bakery versus 85C.

and decided to stop by this past Saturday afternoon with my husband. This bakery is located in a plaza with a martial arts place, a meat market and so forth. Just look for the purple awning (the one purple awning in the plaza) to find the bakery. At the time of this visit, this bakery got a «B» grade from public health.
Anyways, upon entering the store, I picked up a tray that already had a paper lining on it. I also picked up a pair of tongs and walked around looking for some baked goodies to purchase. There is actually a nice selection of baked sweet and savory breads, cookies, cake (you can purchase by the slice and by the whole) and loaves of bread. I ended up purchasing a total of $ 10.79 worth of food items and paid with credit card ($ 10 credit card transaction minimum). I was also given a $ 1 off coupon to use (when you spend $ 10 or more, you receive a $ 1 off coupon) for my next visit.
Over the next few days, my family and I consumed the items I purchased and enjoyed each of them. I will definitely be back at this bakery again or one of their other locations.
Just wanted to mention that most of the food items at this bakery cost between $ 1-​$ 2.25, which is pretty affordable and well worth the price. There is also plenty of parking and employees here do speak English so you shouldn’t have any problems.

I wasn’t very happy with this bakery, I expected much more since the reviews were so positive. The blueberry tart tasted slightly off and the macaroons were over priced and very soggy, I do not recommend them to anyone. The cheese tart was delicious though, so if I’m ever in the area again I would consider stopping by to pick one up :)

Tried their mango mousse, so good. Buns I like the green onion and hot dog bun, pork song and pineapple bun are good for breakfast. Every cake is sooo cute hard to choose one. Will try their cameral mousse next time !

OMG, cakes and bread buns! They have pretty cakes that have macaroons on it!
I passed by here all the time but you can’t tell there’s a bakery here unless you’re seriously looking for it. If you’re coming for the first time, scan the photos of what the outside looks like (see my photo) and drive like a granny like me so you won’t miss it. Honestly, I’ve drove by more than once but could not find it! I didn’t have my GPS on though. Someone told me where this bakery was, I was at someone’s house, they had a cake, it was delish, asked where they got it, and they told me the area. For the love of God I must have passed more than once to find it! Thank god for GPS right! I needed a cake and I didn’t wanna go to 85C because I went there several times for a cake, I wanted to try something different.
I wanted a fruit cake but being that it is not summer, it’s not as easy to find fruit cakes. I came here and they did not have much choices for fruit cakes. The lady was very helpful in trying to find me a cake that would make me happy at the last minute. No luck. Than she walked to fridge on the side and pulled out cake and she said this one is a fresh new cake, mangoes and strawberries! OMG! I’ll take it! Yayee! Cake was pretty good and everyone were happy campers.
I like buying cakes at Asian bakeries because they throw in free stuff like a couple of candles, a happy birthday to stick on the cake or free writing, and a plastic knife which by the way really does cut through the cake pretty well. FYI if you’re getting a cake with a bunch of fruits on it, it’s easier to take all the fruits off the cake and than cut it. I know it doesn’t look pretty after that but it’s a suggestion which I always do. It prevents you from smashing the cake when trying to struggle slicing the cake with a whole bunch of fruits on it.

I love visiting this little bakery in Rowland Heights! Although the place is small, they are constantly stocked with delicious fresh pastries, bread, and cakes. Customer service is excellent and they are very helpful in explaining things in English since a lot of the labels are in Chinese. Parking can be a pain to find since its located in an Asian plaza.
Recently I was driving around frantically on Thanksgiving trying to find an Asian bakery that was open so I could bring over a cake to celebrate with my bf’s family. Luckily Ni Ni Bakery was open and once I walked in I saw the most glorious turkey cake! It actually looked like a turkey too with golden brown skin and thighs and wings! For $ 27 I had to get it and it was surely the talk of the night when I bought this amazing cake over. Most of the time, desserts that look amazing aren’t always the tastiest so I didn’t have high expectations of this turkey cake, although I was completely blown away! This turkey cake was actually a black forest cake (chocolate and raspberry) with frosting and caramel outside. It was moist and light and not overwhelmingly sweet. I also love all the additional fruit decorations around the cake. It was a big hit during Thanksgiving and I really hope they keep making these awesome and creative cakes!
Tip* They give you reward certificates to redeem for your next purchase after spending $ 10.

Nini is a small bakery in a shopping plaza that is easy to miss.
However, their baked goods are pretty good and the prices seem to be cheaper than other bakeries. I think it is because they back a set number of pastries per day instead of baking 30 different types daily. However, the goods they put for the day I went were excellent, esp the egg cream cheese tart. I got the Puff Pastry Cheese, Egg tart, Taro mochi bread and Red bean for 4.50. Not bad at all.
Also, the lady who was working there was super nice, even though she couldn’t speak english. She pointed out that there was a sale that day for buy one get one free even though there were no signs.

Great selection of breads and deserts to satisfy anyone who has a sweet tooth. Since Moon Festival is nearing, we decided to purchase some delicious moon cakes from this location. The service was quick and friendly, and I will continue to come here for my future bakery needs!

A Go-​To bakery spot. It’s a small bakery, which makes it a quick, easy browse. I usually buy the toast and «Nai Shu Mien Bao!»
Some sweet treats to get: Really like the Green Tea Rolling Cake with Red Beans! Also like the Egg Custard bread (It has a smiley face :)) Some very yummy sweet treats!

I’m always coming here for last minute cakes, and I have yet to be disappointed! They have cakes in all sorts of sizes to serve a variety of people. They’re also super beautiful and delicious! The employees who work here are always very kind too. My favorite bread of theirs would probably be the taro or red bean mochi bread. YUMMM! Can’t go wrong with this little bakery!

I am not Asian, and sadly I do not live near any Asian bakeries. Fortunately for me, I have a co-​worker who is Asian, and also is surrounded by Asian bakeries where he lives. This affords me the luxury of eating anything and everything he brings to work from this bakery, when he’s too full to eat it.
The pastries here are exotic; to me, anyway. By far, my favorite is the pastry buns with red bean paste in the middle. Hmm… what’s it called? I don’t know, but chances are if the pastry bun looks like an animal or a crab, it’s going to taste delicious … and nothing like an animal or a crab.
I may have to make a special trip and their other baked goods so that I can be a little bit more knowledgeable, and not have to refer to it by a type of creature.

Now I’ve heard of the elusive pig or crab bread of this bakery. Usually it’s gone by the time I’m in there, but on that day I went with some friends and we found some, yea!
But what it this? It’s shaped a bit different, one of my friends was thinking of an octopus with a deformed head but not enough legs; so crab it was. Now, we were pretty bummed that there was no filling but it was pretty good as it was. The body was soft but the legs were a bit dried out.
I also saw some chocolate buns. Three in a bag for $ 1.10 The chocolate bun was moist and not too sweet with some chocolate sprinkles baked on top of it.
The girls who worked there were pretty quick ringing up my and my friends’ purchases.
Parking is better than in other places.
