Tan It All

I went in for the first time at a Tan it All location this morning around 11a. The lady who helped me, I wish I’d caught her name, was very polite, patient, knowledgeable and professional. The place was clearly kept clean and she walked me through the different levels of beds. She didn’t try to pressure me in a selection at all, just explained what the differences were. I saw the review on the level 1 bed, but this lady was totally different. She told me the best way to save money and when I pointed out if have 1 credit left she offered a cheerful, ‘Yes! So if you want to come again you wouldn’t even have to pay to use a level 1 bed!’. She even asked me when I was done how everything was — and paid attention to my response. I’m giving 5 stars because of her!!! Bravo on a great experience

Updating on this review– since the review, I have had both the owner and manager reach out to apologize, but more importantly, I have had ZERO issues with the Versa machine at Round Rock. I do typically go to a different Tan it All location now nearby; however, I have been pleased with the responsiveness of the management team and appreciate them addressing my concerns.
This said, if you spray tan, do yourself a favor and drive a few miles to the Pflugerville location as their machine is newer and MUCH better. Same team and owner will make sure you’re taken care of, but the experience will be better compared :)

this place is my favorite to go to! the staff is always so nice and helpful! Whenever I go in and Kylie is working I always have so much fun! Also they always have good deals on lotions and memberships

I recently went into the RR location to see about starting up a membership and I received a very shocking message. On Monday, May 18^th around 4:15 I went into your tanning salon. Brooke was working. After waiting 10 minutes for her finish with another customer, I walked up she was seemed irritated how she had to basically repeat the same information because the other customer was signing up as well. She said «ughh, you should have been standing here listening. «And I would have been but she didn’t ask why I was there when I walked in. But the real reason for this email is because of Brooke’s insanely rude comment to me. While going over the packages, I tell her I’d like to go with the level 1; Her response– «That’s because you are uneducated.» I could not believe her. And the interesting thing is she didn’t seem to understand her disrespect because she never apologized nor did she think what she did was wrong until I mentioned that you don’t tell people that they are uneducated. Brooke never actually apologized for what she said but rather repeated «I’m not a rude person.» I may not be a tanning expert, but I am educated. And if I choose to tan in a level bed that is offered I should be able to without being degraded by a «tanning expert». I’m not sure of your company’s policy but pushy, rude and disrespectful employees are not good practices. If you don’t want your customers to choose a certain level, don’t offer or display it. I left your business without an apology or offer to reconcile the issue. I know that Brooke is a manager at this location and this is not the type of person that should be in a leadership position in any capacity.

I moved here 2 ½ years ago. I shopped around quite a bit before finding my new favorite tanning salon here in Austin. I have been going to «TAN IT ALL» in Round Rock for almost 2 years now. Brooke who works there is an absolute sweetheart and always helpful if I have questions on lotions or different beds, etc. I also go to the Pflugerville location when out that way and the staff is always friendly, sweet, helpful, and professional at both locations. Moving from Indiana and not knowing anyone here in Austin was a challenge at first for sure, but the staff at «TAN IT ALL» have always made me feel welcomed!!!:) So, Thank you ladies!!!;)

Love this location. Brooke is so helpful with any questions I have about my account or tanning lotions. The beds are always clean and the customer service is excellent.

I’ve been going to Tan it All in Round Rock for a while now and I’ve recently ventured out to other locations Avery ranch and pflugerville etc… I’m always a happier person after my spray tan! Today a little miss hap happened with the choice of clear or bronze solution… I was a little disappointed when I got home and I realized I got the clear NOT the bronze as requested… I’m still giving 5 stars due to the impeccable customer service I received after speaking with the Mgr at Avery Ranch! I now have a little knowledge about the Versa machine and how it automatically goes to clear the bronze runs out which I’m sure happens a lot because the bro ze solution is so awesome! Anyway thank you tan it all for making me feel and look great!

Wish I could give less than 1 star. Spray tan cost is $ 35.00 same as the 1 other time I’ve done this at a place close by. While staff was nice she’s in desperate need of TRAINING. From the beginning it was like pulling teeth to get answers & many questions were answered with an I don’t know. There is no color chart to show differences between bronze 1 vs 2 or clear or dark etc. The other place had detailed step by step posters (from prepping to after clean up) & feet placement decals in the booth. The machine there also explained at each step of the spray process which position & which direction to stand. That does not exist here just stated «position 2» & to top it off the directions I was given by the young lady complete with visual example & I asked her to show me a 2^nd time to be certain were WRONG. The machine didn’t indicate a position until position 3 at which point I realized the directions I received twice were wrong. It’s front, back, left side then right side NOT front, right, back, left. I cannot recall the last time I was this disappointed with a service.

Clean facility and super friendly staff! Have never had to wait for the versa spa. Staff is always willing to answer questions or make helpful suggestions! Fav place for spray tanning on Northside!

Since I’ve checked in here enough times and no one has reviewed it, I guess I’m taking the reins :)
I’ve been coming to Tan-​it-​All in Round Rock for about two years now. I would consider this a typical place in comparison to the MANY tanning salons I have been a member of over the past 12 years or so; friendly service, pricey bottles of lotion and service fees. I mean, it’s not a BAD thing. It would be nice for a cheaper salon with the same quality to appear magically one day in my neighborhood though ;)
Anyway, they offer three different types of UV beds (I believe) starting with the regular (Kiss) beds, going onto the next level (Pepper), and then the biggest bed of all but I don’t know what that one is referred to because I don’t ever use it. Quite honestly it’s because the level one beds (Kiss) work just as well for me to get a nice tan. It just takes patience because when you first start out, it’s roughly 1 – 2 weeks to build a sufficient base tan and that’s going pretty much every day for 20 minutes. THEN you can start getting your real tan.
Tan-​it-​All offers an array of memberships where you can purchase just a single session (price varying on the type of bed you choose), to monthly, to yearly. Personally, I usually purchase the yearly package because you can’t beat the deal. It’s literally half the price of what you would pay if you were paying monthly. They normally have this deal around Christmas or Valentine’s Day and so I snatch it up! If you don’t prefer exposing yourself to the various types of skin cancer (like me, haha) then they also offer the spray tanning beds with membership deals as well.
About the facility: It’s temperature is cool in the summer and warm in the winter; nice and relatively clean. I say relatively because I do feel that the floors could be swept and mopped more often than whatever is going on now. There tends to be «things» that stick to the bottom of my feet as I’m dressing/​undressing in the bed area. And I know the small spaces between the beds and walls aren’t really paid much attention to either because once those bed lights come on, you can see every piece of hair, fuzz, and spec of dirt on the floor AND in the tanning bed. Which leads me to the second suggestion and that is to PLEASE clean the inside of the tanning bed when the bulbs are being changed out. When I’m lying on my stomach, I don’t want to see an array of other people’s hair where my face is, you know what I mean? I know that it’s underneath of the plastic, but still.
Let me make this clear though, the facility IS clean. I know that they spray the beds down after each customer uses the bed and you are provided with goggles and a clean towel to wipe off with at the end of your session. I just feel that it could be taken a step further, that’s all.
The hours here are OK. I wish that they would open earlier and stay open later during the Summer season. Right now they open up at 8am (which I hate) during the week and 10am (which I also HATE) on Saturdays. I hate this mostly because Gold’s gym is right in the same shopping center and after my 5:30 am workout, I’d like to be able to walk on over and go tanning. Instead, I have to do it in the evening, which means a double trip and more gas for my car.
Okay, enough ranting. Overall, I LIKE this place. The staff is friendly and that’s really what keeps me coming back.
