Established in 2014.

Our owner, Joshua Lien, was an officer in the United States Army and has more than 5 years of experience in Iraq and Afghanistan. His wife and two boys are avid outdoorsman, and he founded Mosquito Joe to help make outside fun again for his own family and other families in the greater Austin area.

Josh is a prior U.S. Army officer with years of experience in Iraq and Afghanistan. After separating from the military in 2008, he moved to Round Rock and started a family. His wife, Faby, and two sons, Ethan and Andrew, love to be outside but hate it when mosquitoes spoil the party. He started Mosquito Joe of Round Rock to help like-​minded families.

I love this service and it worked wonderfully killing mosquitoes. there is one issue i do have, the chemicals burned our banana plants and our plumeras didnt bloom this year. If your sensitive plants are in the evening sun, they will burn from the chemicals. Our plants never looked like this. Ever. so I’m debating on whether to call them again. or just have them not spray in those areas.

We are finishing up our second year with Mosquito Joes RR and honestly of the 5 Summers we have been in this house these are the first 2 we have been able to enjoy our beautiful yard! We live in very wooded Brushy Creek area! I have visited neighbors and been eaten up! Of course then I tell them how wonderful it is to be able to go outside and work or play in our yard and not get eaten up and they call Robin at MJ’s and I get a discount on my next spray and they get to enjoy their yard again! Robin gives the best customer service… awe if everyone I dealt with were just half as good as Robin! Everyone at MJ’s actually want our business and want to keep it! Robin always gets right back with me if I have a request or question! The guys that come and spray are here when Robin says they will be here and are willing to take time and chat with us about any special concerns and always have helpful suggestions!

I’ve used Mosquito Joe of Round Rock for the past two summers. We bought a house that has a ton of trees and shrubs. It was almost impossible to step into our back yard without being eaten alive by mosquitoes. Now that Mosquito Joe has been treating our yard, we’re able to enjoy the outdoor living that we love so much! It’s a miracle! There is NO WAY that I will ever give up this service! The whole crew is great, friendly, accommodating, and professional!

I had used another service in the past and they were fine, I called Mosquito Joe to come out based on the «first timer“promotion they were running. I’m a girl that likes to save a few $$$, what can I say? The guys came out when they said they would and it was all good.
The impressive part was that 10 days later we had mosquitos again (we have a creek, not their fault) and I sent an email on a Saturday night to see what they would do for me. My email was answered that evening, which I was not expecting, and the woman offered to send a crew out the following day… Sunday. I explained that we didn’t want to rob the techs of a well deserved day off and if they could come back out on Monday it would be fine with me. First thing Monday morning they were back and resprayed.
We will mos def use Mosquito Joe again based on that type of customer service.

NO BITES!
I have to say, I am finally able to hang out in my yard without bug spray (which I basically refuse to use) or 10 bug sticks burning on my back porch! Last night was the first time in years that I have enjoyed my patio in a very longtime!
Customer service on the phone was awesome! Technician that sprayed my yard was courteous and rang the bell before entering my yard! (unlike my regular bug guy who saw me naked last week)
He was also very careful to spray my organic garden with organic mix of garlic oil! I would highly recommend this service, and wish I had made the call to mosquito joe last year, when a veterinary friend told me about them!
