La Quinta Inn & Suites Austin Round Rock North

If you like your car being broken into and getting robbed this is a great place. My parents parked in a well lit area close to the front and their car was still broken into. Find another place to stay or be prepared to get robbed. You’ve been warned.

Dirty bathtub black tar like stuff in tub and pub hair dirty floor breakfast was ok did not have bags in either room for dirty clothes my daughters bathroom was not clean spent 230 for two rooms not worth it i will be contacting owner about this. It is just lazyness

IF I could give a ZERO I would. This hotel is about like camping in a tent! I did not know that hotels still had outside elevators, no microwaves and refrigerators, and substandard air conditioning. The rooms, especially the bathrooms, were filthy. I say that plural because we were moved twice due to above listed reasons. Someone’s dog barked for hours on end after being abandoned to go to a ballgame. This was obviously more a hotel for animals than humans. When offered a FAN, we checked out three days early, went a quarter mile north, and were delivered from HELL! The lobby is very deceiving. It gives the appearance that what is behind it is as moderately nice. OMG, no. «Breakfast» was a waffle or dry cereal or some low-​budget, high-​carb food. Run, pay more, close you’re eyes and drive on past, whatever it takes, but skip this adventure!

I travel a lot for work. So, I have a few rewards cards. La Quinta is the first hotel that I’ve found that streamlines check-​in for members.

First time I’ve found the refrigerator in the room not set on bake. It was ice cold.

I know most hotels keep them low or off while the room is unoccupied. It is however nice to fine one cold.
It’s like they were expecting me.
The tub is huge. I may need a flotation device. The room is not fancy, but it’s clean.
3 stars for now. I’ll write more tomorrow.
The lady at the front desk was very nice and friendly. That’s great after a long drive.
NEXT MORNING– Great night. A/​C worked super, television was great, all around as good as it can get.
BREAKFAST — It’s all carbs, but good. There were hard boiled eggs. I have gotten used to hotels with sausage, etc, but I don’t book for the breakfast.
There’s an i-​HOP across the parking lot. So, one can have protein there if necessary.
The tub is older, but huge. It’s clean, but stained, but that happens with plumbing.
I’d tweak the bathroom with a new tub, drains, etc. It’s still not a deal killer.
In my opinion, it’s a great place.
They do have Texas-​shaped waffles. So, it’s a geography lesson. You can eat the Texas Panhandle or Gulf Coast first. It’s fun.
I assume checkout will be a breeze. I have to give it one more star before 9 a.m.

Very clean, very nice for the price. We tried Motel 6 the night before and it was horrible. Employees at this La Quinta were very friendly and accommodating. We are staying another night! Comfy beds and IHOP next door.

The building is old and you can see it mostly on the exterior and the rooms. The bathroom was dirty, so even though there was a huge soaker tub you didn’t dare take a bath because of how dirty it was. The hallways were like a sauna that only magnified the stench. Luckily the room was not smoke-​filled and was nice and cool. Toiletries were severely lacking. Service was good — the guy even helped take my things out to my car upon check out so that was nice. Definitely *not* worth the price of admission. I’ve stayed in much nicer, more attentive hotels for less.

Very nice hotel for the price. Bed is very comfortable and sheet were good quality. Hotel is clean except for the tub. The tub looked like it needed some scrubbing. The shower rub is huge! I stayed at really bad hotels for this price and so far my stay has been completely enjoyable, comfortable and safe. Hotel location is very nice and safe. Better yet… Hotel is next to a I hop and tons of other food places.

La Quinta is our «to go» place in TX! It’s clean, comfy and right off IH35. It’s nice and only a walk away from Saltgrass! The continental breakfast is nice.

We are in the ADA room and it does not have a microwave or a refrigerator. Since my wife is nursing they brought us a fridge we can rent for $ 7 a day. Kinda a rip off. I can’t remember the last time I stayed at a hotel that didn’t come equipped with a fridge. That said: it is a descent hotel with friendly staff and a descent BF
is What u would expect. Not great not terrible.

This hotel is a great hotel for the price. The staff is very friendly and have always been helpful when needed. The only reason I didn’t give a 4 or 5 star rating is because the fitness room has alot to be desired. The equipment is antiquated. All in all still a very good place to rest for the night.

My daughter had a tournament in Round Rock so we got a room here. It was rate 2 ½ stars from what we saw on the Internet. When we called to confirm room and details the girl was very nice. When we got there and got into our room we were very disappointed. The elevator sounded like it was gonna break with a loud noise, shaking, and no a/​c. Thank goodness it did open on the third floor. The room was hot and stuffy but we turned on the wall unit a/​c. They painted the room but you can see huge cracks going down the side which makes you think if your gonna fall through the ground or not. There was a huge bath tube which was not clean. The faucet was not attached. The drain was broke. When I called to see if they had extra shampoo for my thick hair. The lady on the night shift was extremely rude. She put me on hold so she could check then got on the phone and told me if I wanted an extra one I needed to come to the front desk and get it. We woke up all bitten up. By what??? Not sure maybe fleas cause they allow pets but our legs and bodies had bites all over which we didn’t have before we went to bed and this I’m sure of because we weren’t itchy and we are took showers before we went to sleep which I washed both of my kids and I would have noticed all the bites if they were there before. When leaving the elevator didn’t sound as bad going down just up. The male at check out in the morning was very nice. Just seems like La Quinta bought out a cheap motel and try to flip it by throwing painting over the structural problems, updating the décor, and investing a lil in the a/​c wall units they put on every room window. I payed way to much for this room and it definitely wasn’t worth the price.

Nice hot tub with jets. Very clean and comfortable. Friendly staffs. Gigantic bathroom and lots of space in the room. Love it!

My last move was poorly timed and poorly executed (my fault), and exacerbated by other issues such as my car not working (not my fault). When all was said and done, we needed a place to stay between apt. A and new apt. B and my SO’s mom was nice enough to get us a room here with my smallest cat for one night.
She picked this one because La Quinta takes pets, and it was on her way from her place to my job so she could easily gather us up in the morning.
It was fantastic being away from the chaos of boxes for a night. This La Quinta has doors that open into the interior, not an exterior walkway and the corridors were quiet, with softly padded carpet. There was no mini-​fridge for beer, but that was easily remedied with the ice bucket and ice machine down the hall.
Our neighbors were all quiet. The pool looked nice, but we didn’t have our bathing suits (packed) so we skipped it. No smoking in the room, but we could go out to the external stairs and smoke on the landing, no problem.
I appreciated that the platform for the bed went all the way to the floor, so I didn’t have to try to extract a small cat from under a king-​sized bed in the morning. They also serve breakfast (free) with a make your own waffle station, coffee, etc. You can grab coffee to go, as well, which was a small but nice way of saying «Thank you, we owe you!» when his mom picked us up.
If I could, I’d flee back there for occasional «get out of this madhouse» mini-​vacations. It’s not a resort, just a good place to chill out for a bit.
