Hill Country Tree Trimming

Just moved up to Georgetown and saw so many good reviews for Roland and his crew, I figured I would give them a call to get the branches trimmed away from my chimney, and have a dieing tree cut down.
They left me the good chunks of wood that I’ll be able to use for firewood (as requested) and took all of the shrubbery.
They did an excellent job! The back yard and all around the house looks great.
When I bought the house I had some closing issues, so the house sat unattended for a few weeks after all that rain we got so I didn’t want to try to mow it all myself.
I also already had a lot of tree stumps in my yard that could wreck my mower, so he gave me a very generous quote to remove the stumps and cut down the overgrown grass.
Really great guys, and you can see just by talking with Roland that he sincerely cares about doing a great job, and he will shoot you straight, and give very reasonable pricing.
Edit: I wrote that review before they came back to do the stumps and yard. Just chiming in to say they did a great job with that as well. You can’t go wrong hiring these guys.

In March, Roland Salinas and his crew did a marvelous job raising our tree canopy and removing some unwanted trees. They knew what they were doing, yet they respectfully complied with our wishes to remove certain branches, etc. At the end of the job, they removed all debris and left us very pleased from all accounts. We’ll definitely call them back when needed again.

Roland and team gave me an estimate and started the job the same day. They finished that afternoon and did a great job cleaning up. They did an excellent job of trimming the trees off my house and we were very satisfied. I would highly recommend Hill Country Tree Services!

We have a new yard! Roland Salinas and his gang happened to be in our neighborhood, and we’d been putting off our twice-​annual yard revamp for a long time. Farm animals could have hidden in the overgrown bushes, and my husband was getting whacked by low-​lying tree branches on the way to his car. These guys worked hard for hours (trimming trees and bushes, laying mulch and manicuring) and it’s the best yard work we have seen for over 9 years here. I just called Roland and explained I had another company come out and give me a bid and agreed to go with them and then had second thoughts about not getting a couple of quotes.
He had me send him a couple of pics and to give me his opinion if it was a fair deal, which he said it was. I appreciated his input and the fact that he didn’t jump at trying to underbid to get the work-​saying he wouldn’t want anyone to do that to him, although we hadn’t signed a contract.

I am very impressed. They did a wonderful job. I can’t stop looking at the trees. They were fast and they did a wonderful job. I will be recommending them.

Roland Salinas is so professional and courteous. I called on Tuesday at 4:30pm to try and set up an appointment but got his voicemail. I didn’t think I would hear from him until the following day but he called me at 6:30pm to make an appointment for the next day. I was more than thrilled. I scheduled an appointment for 10am on Wednesday and they showed up 30 minutes early and they started working. I got stuck in a meeting until about 10:30 — 11:00am and they didn’t need any guidance while I was not there. He remembered what we had talked about from two weeks earlier and took care of everything. They got the job done in under 4 ½ hours. They did a fantastic job pruning, trimming, and cleaning up. His team went up through the trees and coated all the branches that were freshly cut. Did I mention I have two 25 foot oak trees? I had gotten other bids from other trimmers in the area and the other guys just did not measure up. Roland Salinas not only had fantastic Unilocal reviews they were very professional and listened to my concerns. Roland made suggestions of what he recommended and let me know why he recommended them. We closed on our house 3 days ago and the trees badly needed major trimming. Roland was able to get to us in one day. He and his crew showed up ready to go and worked for 5 hours trimming, removing unhealthy shrubs, and removed vines from our huge oaks. The service, professionalism, and price were all great. I would recommend Roland to anyone needing this service. Our lot is full of 40+ foot oak trees that now look awesome.

I contacted Roland after his card was left on my door. He answered right away, was very professional and offered to give a quote in person that same day. He arrived when he said he would and gave a competitive quote for trimming a tree away from my house as well as removing a ton of vines running about 40 yards along my fence line. His crew did the work flawlessly and I am thrilled with the results. I will absolutely contact him again in the future and I highly recommend Hill County Tree Trimming!

I have used this company 4 or 5 times, and Roland always does a good job. He doesn’t leave a huge mess like some other companies, and he shows up on time. I have a lot of trees, so he always works with me to prioritize so I can stay within my budget.

I needed 6 cedar trees removed and 12 oaks trimmed. I called Roland and he responded immediately and came out the same day to give me an estimate. The estimate was very fair and I told him I wanted it done as soon as possible. He and his crew came out the next day and completed the job. I specifically said that I wanted to be there when he trim the trees around the pool because I wanted them to look a certain way and he totally took care of it, sculpting them so the branches were off the pool but making sure the trees look good. They cleaned everything up and hailed it away. Great job!!!

My wife was working in the yard when Roland and his crew drove up. They were awaiting the late arrival of a client nearby to gain access to property and had time available. They asked if we needed any work on our trees so she called me to talk about having HCTT perform some removals we’d discussed previously. I was suspicious at first. After she researched online viewing ratings and other user-​generated content she and I agreed to employ Roland’s team to attack 4 undesirable & ugly nuisance trees in our yard.
Within a couple of hours they were down, processed and hauled away at a reasonable cost that was much less than expected. The team worked hard to dig around the base of each tree to cut the stumps as low as possible so that additional stump removal wouldn’t be necessary. We’re very grateful that Roland Salinas’ Hill Country Tree Trimming team was in the neighborhood that day.

I have a LOT of trees in my front & back yards. I talked to Roland last year about getting them trimmed, but I got busy and never got back to him. I had promised myself a few weeks ago that I’d set up a trimming appointment this spring, but it turned out I didn’t even have to make the call; Roland stopped by yesterday and asked if I’d like an estimate.
The estimate was very reasonable, and it included not only the trimming, but also removing vines from the trunks of my trees and hauling away all the material removed.
The Hill Country Tree Trimming crew started the job immediately (!) and finished the same day. They were 100% professional and extremely friendly and courteous.
And the best part is the quality of the work — the yard looks fantastic. There are no limbs near the house; the canopy has been raised high above the driveway and sidewalk; there are no vines on any tree trunks; ball moss and other annoyances are gone even at the tops of my tallest (probably 50′) trees. All the cuts were treated to protect against Oak Wilt and other tree ailments, and the crew recognized each tree and gave it the attention appropriate to its species (I learned for the first time that I have an olive tree in my yard!)
The lawn is cleaner now than when the crew arrived. One of the guys even moved our wind chime from a dead limb that had to be pruned to another limb nearby.
I got great service at a very reasonable price. I’ll definitely use Hill Country Tree Trimming next time I need tree care.
