If I ever return to the Pie Hole I am planning to «pay it forward» by requesting that they reserve a very small spoonful of my pie (the small sized spoons like they give you for tasting at the ice cream shop) for the next customer who would like to taste a bit before they decide which pie to purchase.
My wife and I visited the Pie Hole yesterday and she was delighted to see such a large selection of delicious looking pies. As she was placing her order (to the lady whom I will refer to as the Pie Queen), she asked if she could have a half slice of this kind of pie and a half slice of that kind of pie. In my mind, I was thinking, there is no way she was going to agree to that. So when the Pie Queen brusquely stated that it’s not her business model to go along with such a proposition, I had a different idea. I asked her if we could get a tiny sample of the pie in question just to taste. Her response was just as rude as the response to cutting a slice in half. I almost thought she would yell, «No pie for you! Come back in one year!» But she didn’t go that far.
So the two stars were for the excellent pie. It really was good (but so is the Marie Callenders Dutch apple pie that you bake in your oven). Maybe I’m just not a pie snob. Despite the pie itself being worth 4 stars, I had to take away one star for the New York attitude right in the middle of Roswell GA. And I had to take away another star because we had to eat quickly because of the 15 minute parking limit for customers posted in front of the shop. I’m sure the Pie Queen would have us towed!

One of the best key lime pies I have ever eaten, very tart with delicious graham cracker crust. The chicken pot pie is also phenomenal. The apple pie is delicious as well but I don’t prefer apple pie.

A neat neighborhood gem hidden (literally) in Roswell. Getting there is pretty hard, and is connected by a narrow gravel road and a few parking spots, but you can probably find parking nearby.
The establishment is pretty cute and rustic, its run by a small team who are really nice and helpful. I decided to go with a slice of apple pie, which came to around $ 5. The pie was still warm when we got it, and you can even see them slicing apples and baking pies in the back.
The pie was pretty good. I really love how the apple slices were still crispy, with a nice tartness (I think they use granny smith). The crust unfortunately was a bit soggy in my opinion, though some parts were also crispy and nice. Overall the pie is pretty light, and not as heavy as I thought it would be.
I would give it a 5, but I will need to try some more to bump up one star. It’s a good stop to get dessert after a meal in one of the restaurants nearby, give it a try!

Sabrina is the best! She makes the best Chocolate Chess Pie. The slices are a nice size enough to share with another person. But the pie is so good, I promise you will not want to share.
When you read reviews on hear, please take into consideration that everyone likes different types of crust, they like their apples bigger, etc. I hate Unilocal because people share their individual opinions, their negative thoughts get aired out on Unilocal.If you notice, everyone that complains about the price, really likes the pie!

The atmosphere is a cute little house that basically holds nothing more than pies, bakers and a little seating. The service was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable about the pies. Slices of pies were a bit costly but well worth the price. The crust is hearty rather than super flaky, which I thought was delicious and went well the fillings as when the filling was sweet it complimented the crust. Had 3 pieces (split 2 and ate one later, just for the record) and each was amazing. The coconut pie tasted like a giant Almond joy, the Mercello Cherry is a sour cherry pie which cut through the sweetness and was not too sour, just right and the Derby pie tasted like a pecan chocolate chip cookie. Would easily go back for another slice or two!

Do not go here. my wife and I came to the pie hole On January 31^st 2015. It was to celebrate my wife’s birthday and she was excited because she loves the pie here. I am in a wheelchair due to a spinal cord injury. We arrived to find the owner, who is not handicapped, in the only handicapped parking spot in the lot. She just looked at and would not move. We got out and went in and she said if you would just tell me to move I would have, without even saying I’m sorry. She was unapologetic and rude. It is my sincerest hope that she does not ever have to deal with a disability in her family or anyone else that she loves. If she does, maybe she will change her calloused attitude

I have been buying and eating pie at the Pie Hole for the last four years. I have yet to purchase a pie that wasn’t absolutely delicious. I often purchase the chicken pot pie for my family of four. All four of us are able to eat on it for TWO meals. It’s pretty much impossible to feed a family of four two dinners on $ 20.00. And not to mention it’s delicious! I also purchase the chicken pot pie for my friends who have a had a baby, for parties, baby showers, sympathy gift, neighborhood pot luck dinners, etc. It’s pretty much my go to when I need to bring food. And, It’s ALWAYS a hit. The Pie Hole now has chicken pot pie customers from all over Atlanta thanks to me bringing it with me everywhere I go! We also love all of the dessert pies. I can’t say that I have a favorite dessert pie because every time I try a new one I like it as much as the others.
The staff, Sabrina and her crew, are wonderful as well. They’re always cheerful and helpful with questions regarding their pies. The Pie Hole is in the heart of Historic Roswell tucked back on a gravel road right off of Canton St. They have one of the best locations on Canton St. Parking is super easy and free and you can walk right in the store from your parking space. I look forward to many many more years of eating at the Pie Hole.

The place is charming and the service is very good. The owner/​pie baker is kind and pleasant and clearly likes her business. But I’m reviewing the $ 5 slice of apple pie.
Two stars for making it all by hand. The crust is, umm… I won’t eat the crust. It’s mushy and turns to glue in your mouth. No flakes here. The filling is earnestly made, but just doesn’t have what I like in Apple pie. The apples are sliced pretty thin and wind up limp yet chewy, almost like dried apple. Not sure what variety but the flavor is not my favorite. Possibly Granny Smith.
The pie is a little bit dry overall, which can work with the right variety of apple, but not here. So there’s very little sauce which is not quite sweet enough, nor much different in texture from the apples or the mushy crust around it. «Mushy crust,» isn’t that an oxymoron?
Just by way of comparison, in the frozen section at Trader Joe’s, you’ll find something called Apple Blossoms, a pair of little single-​serving pies for $ 1.99, which get it mostly right for commercial pie. Though the crust is not flaky the way a true pastry crust is, it still has a little crumble and snap to it, and you want to eat it all together with the filling — not separate it and toss it like I did with the Pie Whole crust.

The best pie!!! A must try. The Kentucky Derby is a big hit.
The price is too high for a pie so this place is only for special occasions. Perhaps it’s because of location in downtown Roswell that they have to charge more?
The parking lot is gravel and you drive past 2 buildings to get to this tucked behind little house.

Excellent Pies! Oh my word, these pies are amazing. We literally can’t stop coming back for more. The crust is perfect – just the right texture and flavor. The apple pie is HUGE and packed full of thin-​sliced apples. The cherry pie is sweet and tart in perfect harmony. No fake, bright red cherry pie filling here! Do yourself a favor and go!

Pies are tasty but really expensive.

The pies are mediocre and are overpriced. The help is very nice but the person that seems to be the owner is not friendly at all. The store is very cute.

I decided to dine in, and was bummed to find out that their savory pies are to-​go only. Luckily, the massive slice of traditional apple pie that I tucked into was one of the best slices of pie I’ve ever had in my mouth! Full of spicy clove flavor and buttery morsels of the most perfect crust, this pie was phenomenal. If you love pie, this place should be on your must-​try list!

Best pies I’ve ever had. I’ve had a few different kinds from here, but the Apple Walnut Crumb pie is hands down the best pie I’ve ever tasted. Great people working here. These pies are very special.

Great selection of pies and a cute little dog in the kitchen! I I would have felt more comfortable if they were wearing gloves while preparing food.

I stumbled upon this place today nestled behind a financial service company and some other businesses just off Canton Rd. in downtown Roswell.
I must say it’s really difficult for me to find any place in this area that’s not great. The Pie Hole is no exception. It’s located in what appears to be a barn. The pie baking area is open so you can see the pies being made. There is a small dining area on the interior. In addition to a few tables and chairs outside and although covered it doesn’t provide much shade or protection from the sun on a hot day.
But back to the pies… they have a nice assortment of pies, from citrus and fruit pies, to cream pies, to the classic apple pie. At the time of my visit there was even what I recall to be described as a brownie pie.
I indulged in a slice of the key lime pie, I must say the presentation on the pie was not that great it looked a bit messy but it was D-​LISH! You can definitely tell it’s all homemade and real ingredients, but with all flavors that you expect in a key lime pie. The graham cracker crust was heaven the key lime filling was decadent, the whipped topping (which I typically don’t like) was just right. I think it was the best Key lime pie I have ever had… wait maybe I’m lying… ummmmm…no, i’m not… it actually was! :-)
I like this place. It’s a quaint and eclectic setting with great pie nestled in the heart of downtown Roswell for your WALKING needs… you know… to counter the guilt and neutralize the effects such sweets tend to have on the thighs…:-)

There are some desserts that look better than they taste — hello, Marietta Diner! — and others that pack a wallop and have people coming back for more.
This little bit of a restaurant, hidden off Old Canton Street, is terrific. My daughter and I couldn’t decide which of our decadent desserts was better: coconut pie or peanut butter pie. Both were rich, delicious and way too much for us to eat. «A box to go, please!» Feeling guilty that my husband missed out, we bought a slice of chocolate pecan pie for him to have at home. (Actually, we used T. as an excuse to sample another flavor … and as expected, chocolate pecan is delish!)
Sabrina, the shop’s owner (and I’m assuming primary baker) is delightful. The place is homey and cute. With an offering of six or more pies to choose from there’s really nothing I would change about Pie Hole. Give it a try!

So bc I’m a pie fanatic i decided to give this place a try. I ventured for the apple, sweet potato, and pecan. All were really good no complaints for taste and appearance.
My favorite was the pecan (MMMmmmm) it was very buttery, flavorful and the perfect consistency (which is hard to find with these pies) the crust was also buttery and flaky.
The service was average nothing special about the ladies who took my order. Getting there was a bit tricky, but its kinda like a hidden gem.
I would definitely recommend this place for the pie lovers out there :)
