History
Established in 1986.
Established in 1986 Wing Hip Fung was founded by a group of Chinese immigrants, seeking to bring medicines and hard to find commodities from their native lands over to their new home. They missed their traditional apothecary-style community healing hubs (sort of like a barbershop but with doctors and medicines). There was a need to bring an alternative approach to health and healing, a holistic look at the whole self of the local communities here — something western medicines were not providing or meeting at the time. Thus, Wing Hip Fung, «eternal cooperation for prosperity» was born.
