I have no idea why this place only has 3 stars?! Honestly its SO refreshing to see how kind and genuine the servers are! Not to mention the ALLYOUCANEATHOTPOTDINNERFOR9.99!!! Scored big here My family visited last weekend and tonight we made a 2 hour trek from San Diego just to try it out, and it def was delicious! They offer a huge variety of sauces(self-serve) which we loved because it accommodated each of our tastes perfectly. The beef was especially fresh and delicious we’ll be back for more!

Good food! Good meat! Good service! All you can eat price was reasonable. Meat fresh cut. Portion is perfect. Veggie mix to a big bowl very good, but need improvement on the sauce. Seating area not bad. I will come again and try the steam seafood pot looks attractive.

The service here was lacking, it took them nearly 30 minutes to get our meats. How is it possible for us to eat«within one hour only» if the food takes almost 45 minutes to arrive? There was a guy who seemed like he was extra nervous, made more than one mistake. For example, he came to our table asking if he could take the plate of assorted seafood back because he thought he gave us the wrong plate, then we told him we ordered the seafood combo. Then when my husband asked for more chicken, he said, «can you wait because I’m really tired is that okay with you»? I never seen such horrible service, what happened to «customer is always right»? We’re starving, of course we can’t wait, but he didn’t care, still went on his five minute smoke break. Then the seafood platter came out with nothing but FROZEN shrimp, crabs, clam, NOOYSTER, imitation crab and some sort of meat ball. There was also no corn, when i asked the guy why there was no oyster or corn, he simply replied with a «sorry, we have too much customers today and they ate it all». Even the mixed vegetables came out with frozen items in it. Is there anything on the menu that’s actually fresh? They were also really stingy about their ice. It’s called iced water for a reason, they gave us about 5 pieces of ice, up until i asked for the third time for ice then they gave us a pitcher with ice only. By the end of dinner, my have was super tired from getting all the food because they did not give us any ladles. When asked for napkins or sauce, we were redirected to the sauce area and told that it’s self serve. The house special tomato soup tasted like Campbell’s tomato soup and the thai coconut soup tasted nothing like coconut or tomyum, just very sweet like sugar water. Never again, not coming back. They are quite sneaky with luring people in with the ayce $ 9.99 deal but the meat was not good at all, super thinly sliced and the beef had so much fat on it. We weren’t the only ones who left disappointed, there were several tables next to us that left early due to poor service.

I’m surprised this place isn’t pack at all. This is a all you can you hot pot place. A one man that literally run the front and back of the house. Sometimes the service can take awhile. Not much choices but well worth it for the price. They tack on another 4 dallors for the soup base.

Hm won’t really be coming back. Meat was straight out of the freezer so when we cooked it, there was no flavor and it was hard to eat. The lamb was straight up a long thick slab of meat. Very disappointed in that. The seafood was alright. Soup was just alright. You have to get the sauce, bowl, ladle, and napkin yourself. There’s only two people running the place, the waitress and the cook. Only good thing was the cheap ayce

Came on a saturday evening around 6:30 pm. Was the 2nd party at the restaurant, which put their total number of people at 10. They charge for broth, about $ 4 a person normally. That day they had a special, where it was only $ 2 a person. Their hotpot ayce lacks variety. No lamb and not a lot of meat. The service is a little slow and I think there’s only one person working the front of house. The soup is pretty bland. The sauce is not very good either. I dont have the highest standards for AYCE food, but this did not meet my standards.

The service here is excellent, place is clean, trendy atmosphere, and most importantly its all you can eat for $ 10! What the heck! The food is pretty good with veggies and all type of meats. I like the regular beef the best. It also comes in two different soup base so I had the original and spicy. OMG the spicy was super spicy but really good. I highly recommend this place because good food and awesome price!

Juicy AYCE hot pot. YUMMY!!! The place has a very nice ambiance and décor. It is very inviting and very clean. The food was very good like the vegetables and meat. I can’t believe the price is only $ 10 for the all you can eat price. You can’t beat that price. There are 2 soups, one is spicy and the other is not. Be careful with the spicy one it is really spicy. I stuck with the non-spicy and I was satisfied. You have to get your own sauce in the back. I like to make my sauce with lots of garlic, green onion, soy sauce, black vinegar, and sesame oil. But you have the freedom to make your own sauce to your liking. Service is great and very attentive. Overall a great deal and would definitely recommend!

This place has gotten so bad. My boyfriend and I have been here many times. Each time there has always been something wrong: no sauce, the soup base I always get is unavailable, no beef, bad service, meat is not fresh, or dishes are dirty. We usually wouldn’t mind so much and still keep coming back since there would be a few problems each time. The tomato soup base and sauces always brought me back. This place has been experimenting way too much. They once offered AYCE sushi then took that out. AYCEKBBQ then took that out. Now they have doughnut ice creams? Soup used to be $ 1.50 per person and now it’s $ 4?! Plus they only offer 2 kinds now, which are not appetizing. Today is the last straw. Never coming back. My boyfriend and I didn’t even finish our first order. Decided to leave 15 minutes in. The menu and policy is way too inconsistent.

Dinner on Wednesday, 7÷29÷15(first time visiting) This little restaurant is located in the same plaza as the McDonald’s at the corner of Valley and Walnut Grove. It’s a very casual place with no wait in line for an early dinner on Wednesday. There’s a clipboard to sign in when you enter but there’s plenty of tables available so just walk right in. Only one other table was occupied. The servers are not always on the floor to assist you but once you get their attention, they are very friendly. My mom and I decided to try this place with the advertisement stating $ 9.99AYCE hot pot. It was a bit misleading because it’s not the typical place where you can ask for the specific type of meat you want. When you wanted more meat, it comes in a set with all three meat choices(pork, chicken, and beef). They are thinly sliced and rolled up when brought to our table. There’s also a bowl of veggies to cook but it doesn’t include mushrooms. They have napa cabbage, carrots, taro, corn, and tofu. Don’t forget to grab your dipping sauces located on a table by the kitchen. Help yourself. Aside from getting flavorful/tasty food from the sauces, the soup broth gives a bit of flavor too. Half the pot was non-spicy and the other half was spicy. Not sure exactly the name of the broth names. We didn’t get a chance to check out the regular menu. There’s a base price of $ 4 for the soup broth. Overall, I’ve experienced better. It’s a nice place to have a quick and inexpensive meal. It was also really hot inside, which would be nice if they turned up the AC. Not sure if I would come back again. Nothing really stood out for me. If you don’t mind the simplicity, try this place out.

Why is this place even in business? This is the worst service from a AYCE hotpot place I have ever been to. Slow service, inexperienced staffs, unorganized, and meat weren’t fresh. Got me wonder if those 5 stars reviews are even real. We arrived at 7:30 pm on a Thursday night, only two tables and they are almost finish. Stood by the door waiting to be seated for a good minute, ring the bell someone finally seat us. The lady that served us speak little bit of English and always speak Mandarin that make us puzzle. We ordered C Combo which is the Upgrade Lamb Combo Shabu for $ 11.99. When we ask for the sauce, she said today is our lucky day we won’t charge. wow really?! And we follow her to the sauce counter which is in front of the entrance to the kitchen. All the sauce containers were pretty empty. After 20 minutes of waiting, finally she bought us one plate of the thin sliced beef, chicken, pork, some frozen fish filet and a bowl of veggies. Took another 10 minutes to bring out the rice. When we ask for more meat, she said we need to finish everything in the pot before we could order more. are you serious? Should we drink the hot soup too??? They are trying to copy the soup base from other places but it just nowhere near. Honestly they need to hire someone that know how to run a restaurant. Oh that one extra star is for the effort she put out but that would be my first and last visit.

Came here with my family because of the $ 9.99AYCE hotpot deal. Parking is a little crazy in the SGV these days. I had to circle around the parking lot a few times before i got a spot all the way at the back of the plaza but i guess that’s okay. I was going to need the walk there and back since i was about to eat AYCE Hotpot: P The place is kinda small so if you come later there is quite a wait so skip lunch, starve yourself, & come to dinner early Lol. We had a big group of 8 so we had 2 ying/yang pots and 1 hotpot with grill. *The hotpot will grill is slow to boil and the grill part is very small and doesn’t grill very well. I suggest just stick to the Ying/Yang hotpot setup instead. On our pot we got Japanese seafood and Chengdu Hot Spicy soup. Japanese seafood — very mild and flavorful, not to over powering or fishy Chengdu Hot Spicy soup — looks like its really spicy and oily like Szechuan style, but actually not too bad when its boiling hot. It’s good to mix with the other soup base. We got the«Upgrade Lamb Combo Shabu» which was $ 11.99 since we all wanted Lamb. The meat was good quality and sliced properly for the price. At the beginning they gave us lots of Chicken and pork and Sole fish but we told them to take some back and just send us more Lamb and beef instead. They have veggies and sauces at a station toward the back you can grab. Veggie selection is kind of limited. wish they had like mushrooms and bamboo but can’t really complain for $ 11.99. Overall the the food was good and we got great service from the staff. They try really hard to speak in English to accommodate everyone and they hustle pretty fast to get you what you need with a smile.

The place has slow service because of lack of staff and staff experience. I believe the owner and a younger family member was waiting tables which explains the inexperience. They prefer to speak chinese but can still speak enough english to serve you. Tables turn slowly, wait will be long if its busy. Food-wise they were having a promo where you get ayce sushi with any ayce hotpot combo(theres no non-ayce options). Honestly the sushi was absolutely tasteless and is only a filler. I still enjoyed my endless pork, chicken, and beef for roughly $ 9.99 though it took two hours for my meal. PROS: Cheap price Good meat Easy to manage stove burner CONS: Excruciatingly slow Bit of a language barrier May have to park in adjacent lot Stale veggies Poor sushi

Walked into the place with a friend earlier tonight and it was 80% empty. 10 tables and 2 of them were filled. We walked in and had to call out for service because they were all in the back. My friend and I looked at the menu and was disappointed because they now charge extra for sauces. I never liked it when hot pot places charged extra for sauces… it’s like if a kbbq place charged for rice paper. I would rather have them charge us $ 15 per person(instead of the $ 10) and give us unlimited sauces. It’s just annoying if we have to keep asking for sauces and knowing that we’ll get charged for it. We ended up going to a $ 19.99 hot pot place. The second reason why we left was because the ad outside their restaurant stated that they had a sushi special as well… but they apparently ran out of sushi. This was my second attempt at this place. My first time here was in the afternoon with a friend and the sauce was ayce. Food was good. Service was horrible.

Hands down, BEST sushi and hotpot in the ENTIRELA county! Not only is the food great, it’s also at a unbelievably low price! Meat is freshly sliced, never frozen. And their crisp, juicy greens are shipped from local farms every morning! If you’re here for the first time, and don’t know what to get, get the teriyaki chicken roll! It’s a taste outside of this world! It’s like God took all the elements of the universe, mixed them together and blew kisses on it. They even put black CAVIAR on it! That’s right, at this price point, we also get a taste of the luxurious black CAVIAR! One factor that also contributed to my FANTASTIC experience was their amazing customer service! Food is made to order quickly, and everyone had a big smile on their face! Excellent restaurant, definitely bringing all my friends and family soon!

2 star only because the price is cheap. You pay for what you got. Food quality is poor. The cabbage was half rotten, the cutting edge turned black. Meat not fresh not chewy at all. Service is horrible. Order drink several time that never came. No bowls provided, no hot pot spoon provided. Asking for silver times. It took them forever to process any delivery… Server saw my table is calling but turn away and went into kitchen. Will not come again.
