Hello, this is Jim Chester. My father was an electrician and worked with industrial motors (re-​wiring them). When I was a young boy I tagged along with him on various jobs and projects and learned from him. When we ‘built’ our first home in 1972 I was eleven years old and he taught me how to wire our home and I helped him every step of the way. I followed him to the letter. Since then I have mastered skills in home building and repair in most every area involved with home improvement. During the last six years I was working for one of the largest commercial fencing companies in California and became an expert in this field.

I have built a garage in literally three days, (photo’s soon on this site), built a variety of fences from picket to wrought iron (I was a certified welder/​fabricator for nearly 25 years), and I am skilled in nearly all aspects of home construction, passed all my state contractors exams and hope to finalize this in the very near future.
