History

Established in 2003.

We are a family owned, full-​time real estate business that started with Evan Matteson in 2003 and then added his wife, Virginia Matteson in 2005. In 2008 The Matteson Group grew some more as Richard Matteson, Evan’s father, joined the ranks.

Evan Matteson was raised in Rockwall Texas, graduated from Rockwall High School as well as Baylor University. After several successful small business start-​ups, Evan returned to his hometown in order to pursue two new start-​ups, one was a custom web and print marketing company which he sold in 2009 and the other was the company known today as The Matteson Group.
