Have Fun, Play Music! Now in our ninth year of business, The Music Shop is a community music store that serves and promotes Rockwall & Dallas County musicians of all ages and skills. We are the only full– service music store operating in Rockwall County.

We carry acoustic & electric guitars, print music, offer music lessons, band & orchestra instruments (for sale and rent to own), music-​themed gifts, digital pianos & keyboards, books on music, and more.

History

Established in 2005.

The Music Shop was opened in 2005 to fill a need for musicians in Rockwall County. If you have a music related question, we have the answer. Our owner, Jayne Dudley McFadin, is a musician and music educator with a Master in Music from SMU and understands the needs of musicians and music educators today… and trying to bridge the gap for parents that may be new to the world of musical parenting. Music is a necessity in our lives and our communities.
