The Reiki Center of Greater Washington offers Reiki, Crystal Healing, and Integrated Energy Therapy sessions, classes and healing events at our location near the Rockville Town Center. We are the first full-​service Reiki Center in the DC metro area and offer our members and community the ability to include Reiki in their daily, weekly or monthly lives. Join our community.

History

Established in 1999.

The practice began the year after the founder, David Gleekel, completed his Reiki Master training. He had begun working with critically ill people and found that Reiki was effective in helping them with the symptoms they suffered from.

At first, the practice was part time. In June 2003, it became a full-​time practice and has been successful ever since. In June 2005, a commercial space in Gaithersburg was established. The practice moved back to its original Rockville location in June 2010.

In April 2015, we relocated to a location one block west of the Rockville Town Center. We hope to remain here for a LONG time!

RCGW now includes additional teachers and healers and hosts nationally-​known teachers for classes and retreats. It also offers retreats in Virginia, Delaware, Maryland, Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado.
