My clients get rapid relief from their emotional distress. I have a results oriented style of therapy treatment for multiple issues; including anger, depression, sexual assault/abuse trauma, fears, and relationship issues. In addition to decades of experience as a licensed mental health practitioner, I am a Certified Emotional Freedom Techniques Practitioner (EFT, aka «Tapping», akin to EMDR). I believe it is my mission to reduce suffering, increase joy, and assist in life’s journey.
Together we determine core issues, then work to eliminate your emotional distress. Progress occurs a lot faster than in traditional psychotherapy, and statements for out-of-network insurance reimbursement are provided, making this a very cost-effective way to get help.
Take a big step towards your improved emotional well-being. Call 301 622‑2237 to discuss your questions, concerns, and my ability to help you. You will then be able to determine if engaging in therapy with me feels like a good fit.
History
Established in 2006.
A few years ago I started learning about and received training in Emotional Freedom Techniques, which is an energy psychology methodology (as is EMDR). I found this to be much more powerful than traditional counseling or therapy. I am still amazed at how quickly this therapy treatment works for trauma (including sexual assault and abuse) PTSD, anger issues, and phobia. It is also extremely effective for more complex situations like depression and anxiety, quickly peeling away each layer. It gives me great satisfaction to be a therapist who profoundly helps people to eradicate their suffering and change their lives.
Positive Energy Transformations Rockville location serves surrounding communities of North Bethesda, Gaithersburg, Bethesda, Potomac, Poolesville, Chevy Chase and Washington, D.C.
