Established in 2008.

Hypnosis is a facinating phenomena, since a very young age I was facinated w/​the mind and it’s capabilities. From here the road to combine my passion to this subject and helping people be their best was easy!

After suffering from serious anxiety attacks and panic attacks w/​tremendeous stress I looked for help,

Unfortunately mental health professionals could not help me, and I refused to be medicated to numb my feelings and the symptoms, I was looking for results w/​out medication or hours and hours of behavioral therapy, I had found a hypnotist a healer and after a few session I was relieved, symptoms subsided significally and I felt like I got my life back and in control again, I took a few more sessions for self empowerment and since then I do my own healing w/​self hypnosis and other modalities.

My own transformation inspired me to study the facinating subject of hypnosis. I was trained by the best schools, and mentored by the best hypnotists in the world.

Is a Certified Master Hypnotherapist (CMHt) & a Past Life Regression Therapist (PLRT), A certified member of both the National Guild of Hypnotists (NGH) & the International Association of Counselors and Therapists (IACT). Irit specializes in regression work and is a proud member of the International Association for Regression Research and Therapies (IARRT). Irit has passed the National Guild of Hypnotist’s Board Certification Exam and Interview.

She has studied with world famous, Master-​level regression therapy trainers and has been mentored by Gil Boyne and Stephen Parkhill (Author of the book Answer Cancer). She is trained as a Body-​Breath Healer, Streaming Imagery, Bio-​Energy Healing, NLP, EFT, and is a Certified Diabetic Motivational Coach (CDMC) by the Diabetes Research Association of America. She’s trained in Jose Silva ESP, and leads classes in Hypno-​Birthing®

THE BEST PLACE YOU CAN CHOSE TO CHANGE YOUR LIFE AND YOUR CAREER.
I finished the classes 2 years ago and since i got the certificate i started my career as a hypnotherapist. Because of the wonderful work of 2 Master Hypnotists like Irit and Taylor and their orientation «how to became a successful hypnotherapist» i can say that I’m a successful hypnotherapist. Definitely was the best choice for my career and i am sure will be the same for anybody that want to make a big changes in their life. I highly recommend, classes or even sessions.

If you are looking to help yourself and need guidance Irit is the person for you. It will not be by mistake you end up in Irit’s chair. If you feel an urge to call the Washington Hypnosis Center then you should do it. Be patient for a call back as it will be worth it.
I went to Irit the first time because I was curious about a PLR. I had done hypnotherapy before and was just curious. Irit blew my mind! She guided my subconscious exactly to where it needed to go and I discovered so much about myself and all the relationships in my life. I found purpose.
I did not know Irit before coming to the the center and I have recommended her to dozens of people. She truly cares about helping you and she has a gift. Love this place!

Even before the actual past life regression session, Irit helped me work through issues that have been plaguing me for 37 years. If you are looking to become certified in hypnosis, there are several things you need to consider before signing with any training center. It is important to first decide what you really want from the training. When I decided to commit myself to a program, I was already quite involved in different types of hypnosis related practices and had to get honest with myself as to why I really wanted the certification. I decided that I wanted it for professional purposes and therefore, I also wanted a class that not only fulfilled certification requirements and taught solid skills, but I wanted to expand my capabilities and increase my confidence level so that I could call myself a professional hypnotist and know that it is true. Getting certified with the NGH is great, but for me it’s only a small step toward my goal. That was my motivation. You will want to get honest with yourself and discover your own reason to pursue hypnosis training. If you only want the certification, there will be easier places to get it. You will work very hard both in and out of class and you will have to pass a test before you can be certified. No guarantees. You don’t have to have any particular degrees to take the class, but they do pre-​screen their applicants to be sure that they are good candidates. Learning hypnosis requires practice on yourself and others, and each day you will go into a deep hypnotic trance several times. It’s relaxing, sure, but to get the full benefit of the work you will need to really let go. Anyone can go into hypnosis if they are willing to follow directions.
The class lectures are informative and even entertaining. Irit Horn and Taylor Sherman know their craft and are very generous in sharing their knowledge with you. They will not let you down. During the practice sessions they will help you to work through any issue every step of the way. Expect surprises. When you are finished with the entire series of classes you will not only have learned great techniques, but if you’re willing to allow yourself, you may find some of the wonderful transformations hypnosis can offer your future clients have also taken place in you.

Professional, Personal, Practical, Results…
I had been interested in hypnosis training for some time, and was ready to fly and attend a class out west, when I found a course here local with Irit Horn and Taylor Sherman at Washington DC Hypnosis. My phone call inquiry was replied to promptly and following a conversation with Irit and meeting with Taylor, I attended the course in MAR-​APR13. After the first class, I knew I had made the right decision.
The hypnosis training classes are a fantastic professional foundation leading to a Hypnosis Certification. Not only is the course practical, with hands-​on hypnosis the first day through each and every class (plus homework), but also personal — with Irit and Taylor taking additional time to work and share with the class and each student. The instructors work well together and complement each other in their interests and views. Having both of them (along with special guests) support the course was invaluable. I went home after each class mentally exhausted yet completely motivated with the information and techniques to be exercised between classes. Confidence and knowledge grew exponentially. A unique aspect of this training course was the varied backgrounds, insights and experiences brought by the students. Class participation and practice is essential and encouraged and through this, a close rapport was developed that has led to continued friendships and professional connections.
Irit and Taylor expressed their intense passion for hypnosis with the class as a method, technique and tool to change lives and it was addictive. I personally witnessed and experienced sessions myself, seeing immediate, profound results. Completion of this course brought not only a professional hypnosis certification, but new friends, mentors, and a pursuit of excellence with hypnosis.

I was in the same group session as Jeff T and I’d have to disagree. That was my second group session so I had a basis of comparison. I’m a huge skeptic and even though I went in there with the idea in mind «this won’t work for me», it actually did.
I didn’t hear anyone, except one guy, say they «didn’t feel anything.» The guy who complained was asking odd questions the whole time and taking notes. (Example of an odd question, «Can I drink coffee all day instead of water?» I’m sure that’s exactly what Michael Phelps drinks all day when he’s training, coffee.)
When I left, my husband asked me how it went and I said fine, except I think there was a blogger or something there writing an article. Which is fine, except in a setting where you need to feel comfortable, he was a huge distraction. I think the weird note taker guy even asked her at one point could she do magic. Magic? Like, pull a rabbit out her pocket?
Other than that it went well and I saw people at the end signing up for more sessions.
I’ve recommended hypnosis (specifically Irit) to every single one of my friends since I’ve been. I even told one friend in Virginia Beach that it was worth the weekend trip.
If it doesn’t work for you, then it doesn’t. I spent my money on it and I’m pleased with my results. Did I cluck like a chicken, no, but I have shed some pounds.

Went to the group weight loss hynosis. Irit, nice lady but a little out there asks an overweight woman in front of the entire class if she is pregnant!!! HUMILITATING for her. How can anyone ask that to a woman asking her for weight loss help??? Then after a long, boring discussion about hypnosis we were led into a meditation that did nothing for anyone in the class. We all kept doing what she asked but in the end, everyone admitted to being either bored or «in and out» and no one, including me, felt a thing. But we were subject to selling one on one sessions — 3 for $ 750! CRAZY. Ugh — so glad it was a low cost loss to find out how cooky it was.

I’ve called this place 3 times over the course of the last few weeks and no one has returned any of my messages. Based on their outgoing message, website, and lack of Unilocal reviews, it doesn’t seem like a legit business…
UPDATE:
I received a totally ridiculous, unprofessional message from the owner, basically trying to guilt trip me into removing my review. It went a little something like this:
«I am a single mother who works very hard. I take my profession and reputation very seriously. This is my life. As I’m sure you can understand, a negative review can be very damaging to my business and livelihood.»
Come on. Seriously? Don’t pull the single mom card. It’s so tacky! Having a kid should in no way impact your ability to return phone calls, which is what my review was about. Emailing me to tell me about it in an attempt to get me to take down a totally honest review is just totally… icky.
Also, ALL of their positive reviews come from people with new accounts, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they’d been written by friends and family of Irit, the woman who sent me that passive aggressive email.
The only legit review seems to be from someone who confirmed my suspicions about the lack of professionalism in this place. Hypnosis is iffy enough as it is, but this place seems pretty unprofessional on top of that. And expensive! Save your money and go elsewhere.

First of all, I must admit, I didn’t believe, I could be hypnotized. Well, it really happened but, I still wasn’t totally convinced until, I noticed that I wasn’t over eating with my meals through out the week. By, the time, I had my 3rd group session, I was totally relaxed. I wasn’t over eating and, I also had a lot of energy. I have recommended this service to all of my friends and clients which, they have also benefited from this approach. You do not have to be on a diet to lose the weight. You must give it a try if you really want to lose the weight.
