Cindie was the best wedding officiant we could have asked for! When she sent us the first draft of our wedding ceremony we knew we had made the right decision because it was just so US! She does a great job of listening to you, getting to know you, and incorporating your personalities into the ceremony. My husband and I come from different cultural backgrounds and wanted our ceremony to be nonreligious but we did incorporate a small Persian tradition (feeding eachother honey) into our ceremony. Both of our families thought the ceremony was just beautiful. If you get the vibe that Cindie is a good fit for you you can trust that she will do an incredible job with the part of the wedding that I think truly matters most.

Cindie officiated our friends’ wedding in 2014. We loved that she was able to tell their story and make it warm and personal, and she did such a lovely job, we had her perform our wedding ceremony a year later! She was great to work with and I appreciated how she wanted to really tailor and personalize the ceremony to make it «us.» The process was very simple: We met with Cindie and told her about ourselves and filled out a questionnaire. She then drafted up a ceremony script. We edited it and tweaked it slightly. And that was it! The ceremony was beautiful and exactly how we envisioned it. I’d definitely recommend Cindie to any couples looking for an officiant in Sacramento!

Cindie officiated our wedding 8÷1÷15 in Camino CA. She really made an effort to make it «our» wedding and not just a cookie cutter ceremony. She was engaged and helpful through the entire process. We did a walk through the night before and she was great working with me (super type A personality) as well as children. For the price you really cant beat her!

Cindie gave us the most beautiful ceremony. She has a wonderfully calm and sweet presence. We felt comfortable with her right away. I’m so glad we had her came for the rehearsal too, she was terrific. I know the magnificence of the ceremony was shared by more than the two of us, we had numerous guests tell us how special it was for them as well. I would not have changed a thing, it was perfect.

My (now) husband Dallas and I chose Cindie Wilding to perform our wedding ceremony in early June, 2015. We live out of state, so we looked around online for someone that shared our values and for someone who we thought would help tell our story at our wedding. After watching a couple of videos of Cindie, we followed up with a phone call. We knew instantly we had found a great match for us. She walked us through the process step by step, so helpful since we live about 2400 miles away and weren’t familiar with all that was needed to conduct a wedding in Yosemite. She gave each of us a questionnaire, allowing us to tell her more about ourselves, but also allowing us to learn more about ourselves during the process. After we completed those, she wrote up a draft of our ceremony… and wow, what a great job she did! I shed a few tears reading what I knew would soon be the words that would marry us! We worked with her to edit through it, making sure each portion of the ceremony was just right.
We met her in person for the first time just before our actual ceremony, but it felt more like catching up with an old friend. She had already met our friends and family, and they immediately commented on how welcoming and friendly she was, something we already knew about her.
Our wedding was a casual one, just like we wanted. Since we were in Yosemite, we asked her to start the ceremony with a reading by John Muir, the man who fought tireless so many years ago to create the national park. When she spoke the words, «The winds will blow their own freshness into you…» a gentle breeze blew over the meadow where we were all standing. I think she usually charges extra for altering the weather, but she threw that one in for us for free. ;-)
Since the wedding, we’ve gotten so many comments about how perfect it was, and how perfect Cindie was for us. You would have thought she had known us for years. Cindie was warm and kind and created exactly the right kind of environment… it felt tailor-​made for us and our friends.

Cindie is fantastic! She worked closely with my husband and I to write a ceremony that fit the exact mood we wanted! We were so impressed with her. She sent us a first draft of the ceremony about a month before the wedding and it was perfect. She also makes sure your marriage license makes it to the county recorder’s office as well, which is so nice because it is one less thing you have to do after the wedding!

If I could give Cindie more stars — I would. There are not enough words to describe how happy I am with her, and she was one of our favorite decisions we made for our wedding.
We found Cindie through the workshop event at the Monte Verde Inn, where she is one of the recommended vendors. The moment she introduced herself, my wife and I quickly said, «We need to speak with her.» Shortly after, we made arrangements to meet with her, and we immediately booked her once we saw how great of a person Cindie truly is. She is an absolute joy to work with, and she made our ceremony one of a kind. It was beautiful, personal, and absolutely perfect in every way. Cindie married my wife and I August of last year. We met before hand to discuss our vision, and she was very receptive to what we wanted (I wanted no mushy-​gushy but still a warm and romantic ceremony) and she did just that! If you want someone who is really able to capture the character of your relationship and is able to convey that to your family and friends, then Cindie is the one for you! Looking around, some of the other celebrants’ rates were a little less than Cindie’s, but honestly, don’t risk it! Cindie puts so much effort and time into preparing the ceremony that perfectly reflects you as a couple, and that my friends, is truly priceless. She brings such warmth and energy to the ceremony. We are so happy we were able to find her!

I can not recommend cindie enough! If you want a personal/​fun/​unique wedding then give her a call. Cindie is an amazing lady, she is sweet and genuine and makes you feel very comfortable. When she met with us she made you feel at ease and genuinely interested in your love story. She has a very in depth questionnaire to get to know details then makes a unique ceremony for you and your spouse. She also gives you helpful tips on the whole license process. She listened to your wants and needs and will alter the ceremony however you see fit. I didn’t have one complaint. Thank you cindie for making our day perfect!

When searching for someone to officiate my wedding, I did a couple searches including on Unilocal.I found that Cindie was highly recommended. We met with her to discuss what we were looking for and after she told us that she would write our ceremony from scratch and include our love story, we knew she was the right fit.
I could not have been more happy with our decision. She did a wonderful job and everyone was raving about our amazing ceremony.

Cindie married my husband and I on October 11, 2014. We seriously couldn’t have made a better choice. She created a ceremony that was personal and unique to us and though I am biased, I have never heard such a beautiful ceremony! The pros: Where do I start? We have nothing but good things to say about our experience with Cindie. She helped us tell our story through her thoughtful questionnaires and her talent for writing. She was timely with her calls and emails. She sent us a draft of our ceremony and welcomed any edits we had. Day of, she showed up nice and early. We told her we didn’t want our ceremony to have serious tone, so she kept things light, fun, and happy — just like we wanted. Bonus: She has a cool personal style so she looks great in pictures!

I cannot thank Cindie enough for the most heartfelt, unique, and personal ceremony. She went above and beyond the ol’ played out wedding vows and typical stories/​versus. She got to know my husband and I on a personal level and wrote out a ceremony that fit us. She gave the guests an unseen insight into our lives and how we fell in love. We received a lot of compliments throughout the night about her kind words and how she told our love story, everyone was excited to get to know us just a little bit better from her kind words and of course laughed about some of the silly stories she worked in!
Her attention to detail and ability to make everyone smile while gracefully speaking about my new husband and I was remarkable. Cindie performed my wedding ceremony last week, and she has my highest recommendation! She made every step in the process leading up to the wedding simple and pleasant – she’s extremely easy to work with via e-​mail, flexible, and accommodating.
We thought finding someone to officiate our small, backyard, same-​sex, totally non-​traditional wedding (walked down the aisle together, no bridal party, only one of our conservative families in tow) would be a bit of a challenge, but she pulled it off beautifully. She told our story while pulling in quotes and readings that were meaningful to us, and the mood was exactly what we asked for – light, loving, and celebratory. So many people complimented the ceremony, and we’ve heard, «Where did you find your officiant? She was amazing!» several times. A few people thought she was a friend because of how «us» the ceremony seemed. I seriously can’t imagine having a better officiant experience than ours. If I ever find myself in need of a celebrant officiant again (or know someone who is), I will absolutely, without second thought, call Cindie.

Cindie did a wonderful job as the officiant for our recent outdoor wedding. Many of our guests commented on how our ceremony was the most personal and unique that they had been a part of. Cindie crafted the ceremony around my and my wife’s story and how we met and the love that we share. Cindie officiated a gathering for my grandmother’s memorial a few weekends ago, and we couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful ceremony: she beautifully wove together a story of our grandmother’s life for us, while opening up a down-​to-​earth space for family, friends, and neighbors to share their experience and memories. We find ourselves extremely lucky to have found Cindie when we had no idea who we would like to marry us. I was helping research officiates in the area just 6 months away from the wedding date, and still we have not yet made a decision. The days passed as I grew anxious and more indecisive, until I stumbled one day on Cindie’s website. With a leap of faith, knowing we would be sharing our eclectic ideas and personalities with someone we didn’t know, I contacted Cindie hoping to find the person that would be able to grasp the wedding ceremony we envisioned. The interview and individual questionnaire process was an enlightening experience for us to thoroughly reflect our feelings for each other and focus our energy on the things that mattered for our celebration. On the wedding day, I remember clearly how her presence calmed me amidst the worries and stresses I had of the day. Her voice helped me focus on the moment and on my fiancé, not on what anyone else was thinking or doing. It became an evening filled with episodes of laughter, restrained tears, and a heartfelt elation of joy I will never forget.
After the wedding, I was told by several guests how impressed they were and how unique the ceremony turned out. My mother told me «How did you find her? She is so professional!» To us she is more than that. She is a celebrant of love, life, and joy.
