Dr. Beavers is a very knowledgeable DOC and a well-​read health professional. I appreciate the entire office’s vibe: very laid back and very professional. I have recommended BHC to friends with total confidence.

Moved to this area a few months ago and was referred to Dr. Abate by my previous chiropractor after involvement in a motor vehicle accident. Although my personal progress has had highs and lows, the staff are supportive, encouraging and accessible at all times. In addition, this business has been voted the Best of the Best for 6 years running. They are deserving of this honor. I would highly recommend this office to anyone in need of chiropractic care. Dr. Abate and her staff are the BEST.

Outstanding service. I was in a terrible car accident in February and went to see Dr. Beavers. I was given a very thorough screening and he developed a recovery plan for me and never charged me a dime. Everything was done with the car insurance. I was in so much pain when I first started and am a million times better now without any pain meds! He is the best there is.

My first trip in to see the good doctor was all about why I felt so crappy. He didn’t perform any adjustment but spent a good amount of time looking in to why I hurt and how to solve the problem. I really appreciate that they take the time to develop a plan of action in order to serve you. The staff of ladies are very friendly and efficient! I have had chronic back pain for the last 15 years and I have been to several doctors who make an adjustment here and some ice there. I have been seeking treatment from
BHC for five weeks and I feel great! In fact I feel better than I have felt in many years! I am Glad I came here to get help. You should try it!

Have been in severe back pain since being adjusted in January. Six months of pain. I’ve been going to chiropractors most of my life. Can’t believe the damage this one has done to me. Like Sabra M. posted. Dr. was really intense and exaggerated tons of conditions in my back and neck after reviewing the x-​rays he took the day prior. He recommended an intensive treatment 3 x’s a week, etc. I showed those x-​rays to my primary care physician and my orthopedic surgeon. Both the other doctors said I was fine. Nothing wrong with my neck and back. I went in for a headache and came out needing back surgery.

This place has high pressure sales tactics and when you don’t cave, they treat you badly.
I went here when I first moved to town, I was just looking for the occasional adjustment nothing too serious. When I called to schedule my first appointment the receptionist was friendly and I was relieved to get in within a couple of days. What did surprise me was the long and exhaustive evaluation/​consultation. Fancy machines and x-​rays but no adjustment. I had to return 2 days later to view the results. They suggested my husband attend as well. None of this was explained to me prior to my appointment. That bothered me.
Once at the appointment the Dr. was really intense and exaggerated tons of conditions in my back and neck. He insisted that I would only «deteriorate» if we didn’t establish a treatment plan immediately. Once he got me freaked out, the the cost comes. $ 4000 and several months of 3x a week adjustments. It was ridiculous! I am a healthy 30 year old woman who needs an occasional adjustment. I elected to pass.
When I returned several weeks later for a quick little adjustment the Dr. actually confronted me. I was really uncomfortable and told him that I didn’t feel I needed such an intense treatment plan. Yeah he didn’t like that. It was a horribly uncomfortable situation. I will never return here again.

I am amazed at my results! I came as a last resort for pain in my sacrum caused by a car accident. I wish it was the first place I would’ve gone. Both Dr. Beavers and Dr. Abate are extremely professional, punctual and friendly. The front staff are amazing as well. The initial exam is very thorough and I felt very comfortable being adjusted. I was extremely skeptical– but after 2 months of adjustments I am able to sit on the floor to play with my daughter and have been taken off 4 prescribed medications. I cannot say enough about Better Health Chiro.

Dr. Beavers and Dr. Abate are the best in town! I suffered with migraines for years, not anymore! Haven’t had one in 3 years, I am truly appreciative to all the efforts these doctors took to help me feel better!

I started going to Dr. Beavers July 2013 after throwing my back out 3 times in a 4 month period. I was tired of being knocked out by the pain killers. Dr. Beavers’ adjustments have been SO very incredible that no longer have back pain, BUT I’ve gotten taller ! ! ! When you’re as short as I am, EVERY millimeter counts ! The staff is ALWAYS cheerful. I HIGHLY recommend Better Health Chiropractic ! ! !

Ignore the bad reviews on here. They don’t know what they’re talking about. I’ve been seeing chiropractors on and off since I was 17 years old primarily for migraine headaches. In that span of time I’ve seen numerous chiropractors and none of them are nearly as good at Dr. Beavers and Dr. Abate. I generally see Dr. Beavers, but I have seen Dr. Abate several times when Dr. Beavers was unavailable and both of them are fantastic. I’ve been seeing them for about 2 years now and I’ve noticed a huge difference in my overall quality of life. Prior to seeing Dr. Beavers, I had a headache almost everyday. Now I rarely get headaches as long as I’m consistent about getting adjusted when my body needs it. The other thing I love about Better Health Chiropractic is that they are super flexible about when I can come in. If I wake up with a headache on a day I don’t have an appointment, I’ll call and they let me come in that day and they generally try to fit me in right away. It’s more than just an adjustment. They offer physio-​therapy within their practice, home prescription exercises, massage therapy, and more. They are slightly more expensive than other chiropractors I’ve seen. However, they offer more services than the other chiropractors I’ve seen and the quality of care is far better so you get what you pay for. The rest of the staff is wonderful and everyone is very professional. Dr. Beavers and Dr. Abate are very compassionate about what they do and it shows. I honestly don’t have one bad thing to say about either of them or their practice. They are very good at what they do.

This May will mark my 3^rd year of being a patient of Dr. Abate’s. I never had much belief in chiropractors however, when oral medications were not working and I was having pain when walking, her diagnosis and treatment has kept me going. After some intense therapy and adjustments I am on the right track to maintaining a helathier «me». The staff is the office are wonderful and professional. My massage therapist ROCKS !!! Thank You Betther Health for keeping me healthy and functioning !!!

My husband is a patient here for his back problems, and the chiropractor asked him to bring me to his next appointment so that I can learn which exercises he needs to do and how I can help him with his exercises. So I arrived to my husband’s appointment with our 4 week old baby, we met with the chiropractor, and he reviewed all the x-​rays and medical issues/​findings with us. Then the appointment concluded. He asked me to come back to his next appointment to learn about the exercises. I wasn’t very happy about that since I had to bring our baby to the appt. and he didn’t even go through the exercises.
So at the next appointment, I bring our baby again, and we sit in a room with a couple other patients. Finally, a woman chiropractor comes in 25 minutes late, goes though about a 20 slide presentation on why chiropractors are needed, why you should see one, etc. (they used every scare tactic imaginable in the book). Then after 45 minutes, she says «If you know of anyone who may need our chiropractor services, please refer them to us.» She handed out pamphlets and brochures about their practice to pass along to our friends.
It was a complete sales pitch! I asked her if she would be reviewing any exercises after the session (after all, that’s why they asked me to come in the first place). She looked confused and said «No. We won’t establish your husband’s exercises for another few weeks.» Needless to say, I wasted an hour of my time, was inconvenienced with bringing my newborn there, and was lied to– TWICE!
Before this occurred, I actually contemplated going here for massage services, but after this experience, I will never give them my business. I don’t appreciate being misled and wasting my time. Like the other review read, my impression is that Better Health Chiropractic is money hungry and is only interested in your checkbook.

I am 32 years old and have been seeing a chiropractor since i was 10. After 2 major injuries in the last year to each of my shoulders, my prior chiropractor was not meeting expectations. The last shoulder injury cost me over $ 900 in co-​pays and out of pocket care with my prior chiropractor, bowen therapy, physical therapy and acupuncture.
On the advice of a good friend i made an appointment with Dr. Beavers. After several xrays and exams, i started care. 3 weeks later the extreme amount of pain in my left shoulder had ceased to the point that normal every day activities (including working) no longer caused me to reach for the pain pills my MD has prescribed.
Like any «medical treatment» it can be expensive, however the amount of money spent out of pocket (crappy kaiser!), is nothing compared to the amount of work i missed, discomfort and time lost with my family.
My follow up exam is showed improvement in my posture, a drastic reduction in symptoms and pain along with other ailments (headaches, nerve tingling, ect) that was all tied into the extreme amount of shoulder pain i was experiencing.
I highly recommend BHC and Dr. Beavers team. Very forgiving of my crazy schedule and easy to talk to. I have been walked though each step of the treatment and recovery process including homework and exercises.
Not every doctor is a fit for every person, but for me, Dr. Beavers is giving me the gift of a pain free morning and increased energy.

I love Dr. Abate!!! My entire family sees either Dr. Abate or Dr. Beavers for their chiropractic needs and I have brought in a friend who was having headaches and they helped alleviate them through chiropractic care. I love the front office staff as well, they are sweet and always work with me to make my appointments work for me with my crazy busy schedule! Anytime someone asks me if I know a good chiropractor in the area, this is where I send them. I had been seeing Dr. Abate for well-​care and monthly adjustments when I was in minor car accident and with the way I felt after the collision, I didn’t know if I would ever be the same again. I was in so much pain that I couldn’t even sleep through the first week without some medication. After just my first couple of visits, I was able to comfortably sleep through the night without meds. Thanks guys!

The doctors and staff at Better Health Chiropractic are by far the best. I love the friendly atmosphere and the smiles when greeted. The doctors listen and are attentive to my medical needs. Thank you Dr. Abate and Dr. Beavers.

The worst chiropractor I’ve ever been too! I only went twice and never went back. They did more talking to me about the «plan» for my recovery and adding more and more dollars to what I would owe rather than fixing me. The one treatment I did get was painful and didn’t feel right. What a quack!

I found them when I was in a bad car accident 2 years, and they truly care about their patients. I go every other day still for treatment (or at least I am supposed to) and they are always very understanding about last minute appointment changes. They truly know what to do for pain management and are always sweet to my son who is 7. I totally disagree with Samar R’s comment. They are excellent doctors and people. A husband and wife team that truly care, which is RARE this day in age.
They also treated my son for asthma and his health improved alot. I bet you didn’t even know chiropractic had a treatment for asthma. Check them out!

Better Health Chiropractic raises the bar on comprehensive wellness treatment. I have lived in numerous areas over the years and have had been to many Chiropractic professionals that were very good. When coming to Better Health Chiropractic I was immediately impressed by the comprehensive approach, time taking to educate me, friendly staff and warm atmosphere. I have been a patient for over six months and I’m extremely satisfied with every aspect of Better Heath Chiropractic’s program.

I have been a patient since I was 10 years old, coming monthly for regular wellness checks and adjustments. As an active teenager, Dr. Beavers was who my family always turned to after a fall at cheer practice or a long dance rehearsal. Now, as a 22 year old, I am healthy (rarely sick or under the weather) and never have to take Advil or Aspirin for headaches or back pain.
