Behind the Velvet Curtain Photo Booths of Grand Rapids uses only commercial Kodak and DNP dye sub printers in our booths plus Canon DSLR cameras and studio grade lighting.

We’ll design your print options (you get up to 4 of of them) to your exact specifications. Old school double strip /​single 4×6 /​2×2 grid /​color or black & white… just about any design you want we can create.

A real time slideshow of the booth images are displayed on our 25″ superHD monitor. Or you have the option to upgrade to a projector where the images (up to 15 feet tall) are projected on a wall.

History

Established in 2010.

About 2 years ago, at the request of a friend, I quickly designed and built a photo booth for his wedding. I was instantly hooked. It was the hit of the wedding reception. Since then, I’ve designed and built 2 more photobooths available for rental — each one better than the previous. Our current booth has that old Hollywood feel with the rich, lush red and black velvet… but with a bit of a clean modern look with the brushed aluminum frame and clean black panels.
