I usually go to BWW for my wing fix but I had a coupon so I came here. I was very pleased with how well the wings were sauced. They weren’t dry at all, and that’s a plus for me. The atmosphere was very typical sports bar. The wings may have been a tad overpriced, but I still enjoyed them.

I had some parm and garlic wings and a fish sandwich. Both were excellent. And the prices were great too. I didnt even get anything on special and I still think my bill was cheap! I dont drink but they had plenty of beer specials on the chalk board. It’s slightly divey but in a hometown neighborhood bar sort of way. I’ll be back to chow down again very soon!

University chips… hard as a rock. Chicken strips. Over cooked. Wings not so good either. I really don’t like giving bad reviews. But this time it’s a thumbs down!

My husband & I visited Wings University Today after having a hankering for wings. We sat at the bar, ordered the drink specials– $ 2PBR Pint Draft & a $ 3 Georgia Peach Tea(long island with cranberry and peach schnapps instead of coke). The PBR was a little flat– but one can’t exactly have high expectations for a PBR. The Georgia Peach Tea was very good, tasted almost like one of those hurricane drinks from New Orleans. The Chicken Tenders were also on special– $ 0.75 each– so we ordered an appetizer of those(mainly so I could take them home for lunch tomorrow) — they came out fast & were great– they tasted fresh, you could tell they weren’t the pre-frozen ones that taste like cardboard. We ordered 24 wings, 8 hot garlic(which tasted like normal hot), 8 Sriracha Honey(really good), &8 Jamaican Jerk(had a nice tang). Would highly recommend Wings University if you have any craving for wings.

Interesting place. This wing place has a great burgers and awesome fries, but so-so wings. My wings had good flavor, but were overcooked and hard. However, the wings which my friends ate were well cooked and done right. Mine also tasted like the cooking oil was old. Wait staff was wonderfully polite.

1st time to eat here. Wings are great, fried pickles and chips were excellent and the best burger I’ve had in Rock Hill! Wait staff was very attentive. Will be back soon.

The wings were pretty good and the service was great. However, if you are getting a soda it will be canned so no free refills. Overall its worth a try.

The staff, food were pretty good. I was there on a Monday and the place was pretty packed. The time for the food to get to me was a little slow for just being an order of wings… adn the only other complaint I could give woudl be a lack of having a web site with menu to use to call in orders.

Outstanding wings and service! The wings are large and made just like in Buffalo, NY. Service was spot on and the server checked on us several times. The owner, Danny came by and introduced himself and wanted to know how everything was. Highly recommend this place. Even worth the drive from Lancaster or Chester.

Went to Wings U to watch a Panther’s game one Sunday. The set up is pretty great, there are TVs and team memorabilia everywhere! Beer prices are normal, food is pretty good(I liked the wings) and the service is decent. Would go back.

Wife & I don’t eat wings often, we usually wait until we’re having a craving. With that said, we want some good wings when we do order! Unfortunately that really wasn’t the case here. We placed a To-Go Order. The person was very pleasant & patient as I ordered blindly; they do not have a website or a menu posted online. I ordered Hot &, due to a couple of the reviews garlic Parm/Romano. Also ordered a side of wing chips. Wings were cooked perfectly, nice & crisp. However, there was barely any flavoring on the wings?! I realize that it’s a matter of opinion if something is Hot & to what degree of Hot is acceptable. Admittedly we enjoy our wings really hot, but these were nothing more than plain, and absolutely no remnants of sauce collected at the bottom of the To-Go box as one would expect to find at any level of heat. Wing chips were tasty, but a much smaller portion than you would normally receive from other local wing joints. If there are two of you sharing you’ll definitely need to get an order each. We did get lucky as it was $ 0.50 wing night!!! Our entire order was slightly north of $ 13. Maybe they skimp on the sauce when they’re on promotion, IDK? Overall we were really craving good wings and were disappointed with what we received.

Freaking awesome place, great wings, very crispy with just right along of heat in the ‘hot’ style. The garlic parm are out of this world. They used chopped garlic and shredded Parmesan instead of grated and powdered and the difference is amazing. The last time we went, they had fried Oreos with chocolate dipping sauce for like two bucks… Can’t beat that.

We went for the Cross Fit social on Friday night. I don’t think they were expecting such a large crowd, the server seemed very overwhelmed. It took 10 – 15 minutes together our drinks. They were out of grilled chicken breast, which was very disappointing. I had the chicken sliders for my meal, and they were very good. We also had some fries and they were good as well. I will try it again since its right down the street!

This sports bar just opened up in the plaza where Burk’s BBQ used to be located. The décor is what you may expect from a place called Wings University– lots of college sports team logos and TVs for watching the game. The bartender was very friendly, but not particularly knowledgeable about the brews on tap(keeping in mind this place has been open less than a week). When she poured my OMB, prob ¾ of the glass was head/foam. The manager came by and filled the glass correctly. The lemon pepper wings were good– crispy but not dried out. The fries were very good. Prices are pretty good… a basket of 5 wings and fries was $ 6.00. A few small bumps in the road, but it’s understandable with a new place. I will give them a few months to work out the kinks and come back during football season, as it has the potential to be a good neighborhood sports bar for those who live near Cherry/Mount Gallant and are tired of the chains(Hooters, Buffalo Wild Wings).
